Ahkmed the Muslim came to the United States from the Middle East and he
was only here a few months when he became very ill.

He went to doctor after doctor, but none of them could help him.
Finally he went to an Arab doctor who said:

"Take dees bocket, go into de odder room, poop in de bocket, pee on de
poop, and den put your head down over de bocket and breathe in de fumes
for ten minutes."

Ahkmed took the bucket, went into the other room, pooped in the bucket,
peed on the poop, bent over and breathed in the fumes for ten minutes.
Coming back to the doctor he said, "It worked. I feel terrific! What
was wrong with me?"

The doctor said, "You were homesick!"

No it's not, and never was common in my part of Naija to clean nyash with water. We may have used leaves or paper but never water.
Re: Typical Nigerian Behavior by soulpatrol(f): 6:01pm On Aug 02, 2006
idekeson, what part of naija are you from? besided, which is worse - using water or leaves? grin
Re: Typical Nigerian Behavior by Idekeson(m): 6:18pm On Aug 02, 2006
The Naija Jungle. It's not about what cleans better, but the principles. We're set in our traditional customs and traditions. Nyash cleaning included.

Driving his car with one hand answering his mobile phone and the other hand searching for the ringing second phone
Driving his car with the hand constantly on the horn blaring away at any thing that comes his way
Screams and swears at other reckless drivers on top of his voice
Gets drunk and sits in his car and speeds off at break neck speed gets accident and blames it on witches and wizards
Hisses and curses every time NEPA (PHCN) takes the light and shouts out with joy (Eeeeeeeeyyy  light don come) every time nepa(PHCN) brings back the light grin

Re: Typical Nigerian Behavior by user1: 8:05pm On Mar 28, 2009
Everyrace does have good and bad characteristics as well as good and bad people. I personally only know 3 Nigerian people all of them men, all with very similar characteristics. love to argue, never take responsibility for there unethical, unprofessional behavior. They seem to turn things to suit them. Oh and by the way what's with the lies they tell. Everyone of them treat women with such disrespect, and faithfullness seems to be very difficult for all of them.
