My ford focus displays engine system fault and transmission malfunction on the dash after 3 weeks of servicing the vehicle. Nothing of such displays prior to the servicing. Pls advise me on what to do as I dont have much confidence in these our mechanics. Please note that the engine and transmission still run smoothly but I just need to be proactive.

You have to state e actly what type of service(s) you had done and your mechanic will have to tell you e actly what he did replaced and what he used.

Reason is to know what type of sensor he could have left disconnected and wrong parts he could have used or connected wrong I.e spark plug and injector wires on wrote g injectors

A scan will tell you what went wrong, have it scanned, if you can't interpret the results post the codes here we will all help out. But in the mean time check for disconnected sockets or not properly fitted sockets around engine bay. Cars are built to be more sensitive to abuse these days, would be better if you stoped driving it till you get it sorted out cause u might be doing more damge by using it. As sultaan said more info would help solve your issue let's have a full repair history.

A scan has been run and the scanner displayed the following error codes:

P0030 ----> O2 BANK1 SEN 1

P0136----->02 BANK 1 SEN 2

I will appreciate the interpretation of these error codes as I dont have a clue what they mean. Thank you.

The bank1 sensor is located in the engine bay almostbat the tip of the exhaust manifold that connects to the engine. When you open your bonnet check for something that looks similar to a spark plug attached with a wire.

As for bank 1 sensor 2. Check underneath the car. That same sensor also runs along the exhaust.
