austinebode: . It' not about "reasoning low" but knowing christ. As a christian I don't have any issues wt what the idol woshipper (the said culture) does, provided it' does affetct movement. It' only in Africa we don't think about other. May God help us. The said culture would affect movement because that's the actual culture here. while we are happy that in the 21st century some of our African culture is still practiced today , why though must people be made to feel threatened by it, why must i be held hostage in my own home because a king died? culture must be engaging to ensure its continuity and interest, why must movement be restricted because a king died? culture must be accommodating to others who are not part of it, hassle like this is what brings hostility towards certain practices and they are seen to be backward thus people turn their noses at it and refuse to understand it. 1 Like |

[s] Acidosis:[/s] Git, you've lived all your life in villages in Nigeria, who do you know about exposure? You honestly think watching TV, reading junk books, and being an overzealous religious wingnut mean exposure, no? Can you now see why I think you're a stark illiterate? Honestly, you're not my level, trust me. And my pinky finger is more exposed than you'll ever be. So when I talk: you need to listen attentively, get a notebook and a pen, and start writing things down. I don't suffer fools and illiterates gladly - go find ya mates to chat to and stop quoting me, you uneducated yokel. 4 Likes |
