there is no fuel scarcity in s/e because of alot of things which include
1 good planning. in anambra where i stay, we buy fuel for 120 per litre if we spend much its 150 thats because we have a well planned distribution system devoid of govt interference.
2. we dont believe in fake "change" promises of apc so we do our things for us by us
3. we have an inbuilt survival panel which Chukwu himself programmed in us
4. we think outa d box just like someone rightly pointed out
5. we run refineries (call them illegal if you wish) which 9ja govt cant run just like someone said.
6. we know how to do biz and we got money so the marketers trust our ability to pay cash promptly
7. because we are from the east and thus wise! ha ha ha
that reminds me, while power supply shortage is reportedly experienced in 9ja, we in the east get am for light! tanx to our EEDC and while radio stathons are reportedly planning shuting down, our own radio biafra is busy expanding its signal strength!
biafra sure pass land of promise

How did I miss this comical post?

You people are clowns, I swear! cheesy

I love the way you are so proud of your hollow selves. cheesy

Because the ever hardworking, industrious ibos have abundant imaginary refineries that supply petrol to their states.

Lol. those refineries are real.
What does it take to refine fuel? If they did it during the war, now is even xmas

Refining oil is not a rocket science or a technological break-through. Nigeria is just corrupt and lazy, I see no reason importing all at this age and time of enlightenment.

I don't blame some of my brothers who might somehow be too proud here because the trend itself is tribalistic...why not ask "why is there NO fuel scarcity in some part of Nigeria"

For those shouting chest beater there is only one quote for You "it takes a chest beater to know a chest beater"... ie you are also a chest beater ()QED()

It takes a lot to refine petrol. I doubt if there is any illegal refinery that can refine petrol. Most of them only refine diesels.

Petrol is also available in most Northern states. Could it be due to illegal "imaginery" refineries in the north? grin

Am not in support of crude oil theft or illegal refineries... what he said is true in some places especially the creeks but i don't think it is the cause of non scarcity of fuel...

Apart from Lagos and Abuja, is there fuel scarcity in other parts? why make it look like its only the Se that is immune to the scarcity?

shallow minded post.

when you have nothing tangible to brag about, you pick on pettiness.

pathetic.

Ibos won't kill me with laughter!
They brag and chestbeat evenwhile they are experiencing problems!
Imagine them ridiculing the Ekiti people who had issues with the hausas while the same thing is happening in Enugu! Atleast, the yoruba fought back but same can't be said for the ibos in Enugu!
Now they have come with another lie that there's no scarcity of fuel in the SE which is untrue yet they kept bragging about it! Sucks to be ibos!

Hehehe... Abeg.. It's not 'ibo' or 'ibos'...
We are called 'Igbo' or 'Ndi Igbo'...

Why are you ibos programmed to believed anyone against your line of thought must be a Yoruba? Last time I checked, you and Northerners disagree on things more than Yorubas.
Leave Yorubas out of your inordinate chest beating thread.

There's no fuel scarcity in the SE but the price of a litre of fuel in the SE is the same as what is sold in lagos. The price of a litre of fuel in the SE has increased suddenly from 87naira to 120/140naira

South east should become an oil refinery hub for the rest of the country,Bight of Biafra and Eastern Cameroon...Demand for the product should boost fractional distillation industries, production and export.
