Feared who? Wasn't it Abacha that locked up Baba for years?

Yes, he did that when he had the opportunity. Tell me who will not act in a battle when he has the advantage or can he do that without being the head of state at that time. I sometimes wonder how you guys think. This is not a mortal combat selection that just react to the press of a console.

Do you think at all? If you think you will know the power Major Hamza carries at that time with compliments to Abacha. I'm not sure you know what discipline is in the military and that is where you Igbos are stupid. All you think to know about bravery is to run into death as your most great General Ojukwu did and nearly all of you died. Wake up and start learning from the Southwesterner strategists.
There is something called taking a stand and fighting to death.
It is a concept many nations that attained true independence had to practise. Something the yoruba nation has no knowledge of.
The cowardice and treachery of the yoruba is masked as strategy.
No ethnic group will trust the yoruba like the period of 1967.

The indians lost millions of people to attain independence.
If those people were yoruba, they would still be under british control till today still looking for ''strategy''.
No wonder the yorubaland was the most easiest of british conquest in the south. Even the IKA posed a greater resistance.
So much for the oyo ''empire''.

See you, fight to death. Please, can you do me a favour. Go to Borno and volunteer as a militant against Boko haram. In as much as a soldier must stand his ground to death why didn't your so called fight to death igbo Generals fight against the government of Abacha at that time or maybe that of Babangida. Why didn't you Igbo Colonels and General fight Abacha to death when he asked them to forcefully resign. In fact, why didn't your Igbo people continue to fight and die when the strategic approach of a Yoruba man was conquering you. Please please

Yoruba Generals and cowardice.

Always running away from the battle front.

Gallant soldiers like Gen Lamidi Adeosun who led 7th Div to kick BH out of Bama did not have an "easy" time.

Do you know the difference between a foolish man and a wise man. There are one million ways to the market and if you do not know, you do extreme consultation before confrontation; It is only a stupid man that confront without consultation. If your point is justified can you please tell me how you got into Nigeria if you were not conquered. Your forefathers should have refuted that they do not want to b part of Nigeria.

Collect 2 star there my brother. His father was indeed a great man. If not for his father's free immunization program, a lot of the mumu posters on this thread would be suffering from Polio and Yellow fever.

grin grin grin

May bow legs, Ikwokirikwo legs and K legs not be your portion, may it not meet any member of your family...iseee....

I love the Kuti family.....however, they are Yoruba and Yorubas and cowardice are like the left hand and buttocks if you know what I mean....Siamese twin thingz.. grin

Obasanjo has Biafra shrapnel in his buttocks,
His son was running away last year from boko and nearly had his scrotal sack blasted by those boys.

The greatest and grand daddy, Aere ona kakanfo of all cowards, whose tears and catarrh depleted all the tissues, toilet rolls, even cement paper bags in Abacha's house is a Yoruba chieftain.

Minister of state for defence Erelu Olusola had heart attack and slumped at the military parade ground when she heard a bang that was not louder than Xmas 'knockout'

No offence bro if you are Yoruba... grin...Yoruba should channel their efforts on jumping and tearing people's clothes.

Brig. Gen Kuti would have been a great man like his dad and uncle Ebami Eda if he had stayed the phuck away from Army.

That is why yorubaland is the most developed space in the world. grin grin grin
Cowards masking under diplomacy.

If you know that was the best way, why did Igbos not fight with weapons for independece rather than consultations. Let me tell you, those who rush into fight end up losing unnecessarily. Do you think USA just went into world power battle suddenly? Where is Germany and Greece that lacked diplomacy, Where did Japan led themselves to because they Lack diplomacy including China like wise Russia. USA did not just use Warheads but gave room for Diplomacy before deploying their warheads. USA used diplomacy majorly to shrink USSR. My guy go and learn.

The Aburi accord was supposed to be consultation. Gowon threw it away the moment he got into Nigeria.
The time for consultation were well OVER.
The japanese, and chinese wars were hugely instrumental in the creation of their true nationhoods. Yes, it was regrettable, but they discovered themselves after their respective wars.
USSR shrank from within due to injustice and poor economy. America only added fuel to the fire.
If america could invade the soviet union without severe casualties, they would have long before its collapse.

You see, the wars were regretted meaning there could have been a better way. Moreover, Let me give you a clear example of if the Yorubas want to fight that they would win. Do you know that during the Biafran war when Muritala was approaching Onitsha, he was employing boldness and stubbornness of conquering or die failing instead to yield to the advice of the National council. It was the advice given by the then member of the supreme council Major-General James Olululeye that helped Muritala after he killing all his men. You can read about him. Yoruba's have guts but no battle can be won with just guts. Know when to fight, Know when to move

I know this General well. I've met him face to face and had conversation with him very recently. He is a very disciplined soldier, thorough, and a hater of corrupt practices. My suspicion is that he's just a bait, being framed to take the fall for the govt inadequacies during the said battle. The Enitan Kuti that i know, has a kind heart, and will never jeopardize military operations for any selfish agenda. Yeye martial court we've got in naija.

The court martial is a shame and those that should be court martialled IMO are sitting pretty in retirement. The reason why we were on the back foot with the war against Boko Haram during GEJ's era is because of CORRUPTION of a mammoth proportion. Imagine people profiteering on weapons that was supposed to be used to fight and save lives. Many of the tanks you guys put in pictures are derelict and scraps. We got them refurbished and put them to war. PMB has ordered as full scale audit of the military weapons acquisition during the period and this investigators are travelling to the claimed sources of acquisition.
