Yes, Nigeria is a multi-secular state and every of the multi attribute. Unfortunately, no one has ever wonder the mystery behind the term 'majority carries the vote'. It is well used in politics, religious issues, even in some tic-tac social and societal problems arising. If this rule of 'majority' could be effectively used in almost every decision making, I see no reason why it couldn't be used by outside worlds in determining what country Nigeria is. I am afraid to say, Nigeria is an islamic country as it has more muslims than the number of christians. A religion which allows the privilege of many wives, many children; large family, has the tendency of outgrowing other religion in population no matter how people try to depopulate it with their beastly talks.
Do you have any authentic and verifiable data to corroborate your assertion that Muslims outnumbers christians in Nigeria?

this is what you get when you elect archaic old religious fanatic as a president in a secular state like Nigeria.

But wait, Is Nigeria even a secular state.. what type of Secular nation would recognize Religious laws in the lives of it's citizens as the recognition of Sharia laws in the north.

It is no doubt the muslim north feels they should be in charge of Nigeria but that i say is an arrant nonsense.

what exactly do we expect when Nigerian students are made to study religions (Christian and Islamic) instead of history..

American civil war is being studied as part of American history in U.S schools but ours is being swept under the rug and everybody is supposed to pretend it never happened

If Nigeria wants to move with time in this jet age, taking our cultural, religious, tribal diversities into consideration we should embrace sound secularism.

Uphold basic fundamental human rights to the fullest.. We should be neither a Christian state or muslim..

As a matter of fact those religions are Alien to us... what happened to our own Traditional religion which is the fundamentals of our tribes and culture.

If Nigeria ever should be a religious state in terms of world recognition then it should uphold our own traditional beliefs not that of other people..

Nigeria needs full secularism and fuuuckking take Religion out of the government
Long figure out we might not share same views on politics but I agree with the generality of this post.

before they formed the coalition they were making plans to combat isis..bokoharam is not part of isis but pledged allegiance to them..just different terrorist orginisations..my question to you since saudi arabia could name Nigeria as part of the coalition, what was holding them since to help Nigeria out with all the money them get...don't be suprised isis will be defeated and boko haram will still be operating

It is not false news. The news is even gradually becoming old. The BBC and CNN also carried this news on their sites

Rubbish. That is what you and your fellow bigots like ffk would like the people to believe. I bet if this had been Nigeria joining a league of "Christian nations" headed by the US to "fight terrorism", you lot wouldn't think he's "christianising" the country.

You guys make me sick. What you do with your utterances poses even more threat to the security of this country than Boko Haram or any other terror group.

Imagine what you people would have said had Dasuki been a Christian.

Imagine what you would have said had the Shiites been a christian denomination.

What a pack of wolves.
The thing is that when countries have a large christian population, they tend to officially lean towards secularism in respect for people's right to believe as they so choose. That is why over the years (from 1945 till date) you have never heard of anything like "The Coalition of Christian Countries"

You people make me sick. What do you profit from this nonsense?? Just imagine how you guys have turned best buddies to Muslims, all of whom you call terrorists, over the Shiite issue, simply because it reflects badly on the president. Now this, you can't stand a coalition between Nigeria and Muslim countries (even if it is for our own good) because it promotes "Buhari's agenda to Islamise the country". The same president you berate for "ordering the killing of Muslims".

You guys are bloody hypocrites and the darkness in your hearts could overwhelm even the floodlights in Wembly.
Actually, killing the muslims was wrong (if they were unarmed and not hostile).
Also, joining the coalition without recourse to the people he represents, and who voted him in was wrong (if it was made expressly clear that the coalition being formed was islamic)
