The armed robber will barely make it to heaven cause he has already decide to give his life to christ

The armed robber didn't receive Christ. How would he get to heaven?

If the robber does not believe then he will go to hell. The pastor whom has started doubting will also go to hell

BUt if the robber believed and wanted the Pastor To lead him to Christ by confession.... then he is like the thief on the cross... HE WILL BE IN HEAVEN.

My dear children,

They better, both have a person, like an Advocate, who is Good and capable of putting a case on their behalf

Having said that, do you know that, some people, will reject this court-appointed lawyer to represent them, merely and just because of the fact of who He is or what He represents
They will rather face damnation, than have this court-appointed Lawyer argue their case on their behalf

Where the two will end up at and/or what the sentencing will be, is down to the Judge weighing the defence put up by the Advocate or defence put up by themselves

you said the pastor has been preaching to the criminal to repent, but he refused, right ? alright, on that faithful day, he is on his way to repent WHEN THE DEVIL STOLE HIM THROUGH DEATH.( you cannot rob God) bible say " whosoever name are written in the book of life will be cast to outer darkness" his name is not written in the book of life.

for the pastor, it is between him and God, I am not God so I can't judge his intention.

it all depends on what you decide as the criteria for getting to heaven or hell...if the armed robber wanted to follow the pastor because of his words “get into trouble and go to hell".. then he is merely avoiding the act because he's wrong.. rather.. fear has taken over.. which doesn't really count as true repentance.. so again.. depends on the criteria.. if the criteria for heaven in this story is the heart.. them they'll both go to hell.. the pastor being ruled by greed or whatever and the robber being ruled by the fear of hell and not the acknowledgement of his wrongs
