IGNORANT VOICES FROM HELL!

By Leke Beecroft

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:18

If you are a believer and you are puzzled by the continuing attack against the Church, then you need to learn a few things. However if you are unfazed by it, then you probably have an understanding of the times. Let me make it categorically clear that the Church will NOT lose this battle. Ask Pharaoh... ask Sanballat and Tobias...ask Judas Iscariot...ask Saul (St Paul)...ask the adversaries of Martin Luther...ask those who mocked Seymour....ask those who called Idahosa 'Mushroom Pastor'...ask those who coined the proverb "as poor as a Church rat" ...ask Jim Obazee...and many others.

Please join me on this trip...We are obviously in the last days, a time so well spoken about in scriptures. A time for the Rising or Falling of many depending on whichever side of the divide you belong.

Jesus referring to this period prophesied:

"And because WICKEDNESS shall abound, the love of many will FREEZE (Wax Cold)

But he that shall ENDURE unto the END, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:12-13.

We are seeing these today before our very eyes. Where ignorant voices from hell want to hear everything evil happen to the Church and do not wish anything good for the Church. Truly, this desire can NOT be the Gospel. I went back in my thoughts over the years while verifying with facts where memory seemed to fail me and I have brought this list for all to ponder.

The ones considered bad for news are hardly heard while the ones considered good for news almost always go viral.

The Church of Christ will never be able to please the Gates of Hell.

It's time to shake off the distraction.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the Word of God: whose Faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Hebrews 13:7.

For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with Faith in them that heard it.
Hebrews 4:2.

All this documentary because of tithing, I wonder what will happen if government now taxes you. Maybe you'll cry to the Hague.

Any sound and deep Christian cannot be moved by the recent media siege on respected men of God.

Even if some of their points may make some sense, it is not wise to be used by Satan against established word of God.

We can pray more for our leaders.

This thread is right on point and I couldn't agree more. I couldn't have put it better myself. It's almost "fashionable" to attack pastors and churches these days. The truth is the church is one of the few shining lights in this country right now.

Thanks for this timely post

This is a very intelligent post analyzing what the Churches have been doing and how the media have not portrayed them in good light, we commend and really urge them to do more in preaching the gospel, providing free educational facilities and help to orphans/widows.

ZUMA'S STATUE -- King James Version

1. And it came to pass that a certain Governor from the East by the name Rochas the son of Okorocha who ruleth over the province of Imo, sent a messenger to the kingdom of the Southern country of Africa.

2. And he said to the messenger, in this manner shall ye speak to the king, "long live the king! thou art highly favoured in the the eyes of my Governor, even among the people of the province of Imo, therefore come this day to meat in my kingdom that though mayest be honoured"

3. And the messenger did according to the words of the Governor.

4. And it came to pass that the king of the Southern country of Africa by the name, Jacob the son of Zuma, entered into the province of Imo, even into the city of Oweri, the dwelling place of the Governor.

5. And Rochas the son of Okorocha made a great feast and prepared a banquet before the son of Zuma that night. And he called all the noble men of the province to meat in his Palace, even in the court of the governor, they made merry.

6. The Governor hath also hired men of craft that they made a giant graven image of Jacob, the son of Zuma. And the height of the image thereof was ten cubit and two span , and the weight thereof was equals two thousand measure of brass. And the garment thereof was that of the noble men of the West.

7. And he placed the graven image at the Centre of the city of Oweri. And unto Zuma, the king of the Southern country of Africa, was a title given which was higher above any other in the province of Imo. Also, the Governor nameth a street of the city after him. These was the manner with which king Zuma was honoured.

8. All these things happened on the tenth month of the sixth year that Rochas the son of Okorocha reigned as Governor over the province of Imo.

9. But it came to pass that when it was told the people that the Governor hath spent five hundred and thirty million shekels of gold and silver for the graven image of Jacob, the son of zuma that they were wroth with anger.

10. And it grieved the labourers of the province and they took counsel among one another and saith, but how shall this thing be? Is Jacob the son of Zuma also among the righteous men?

11. Howbeit that the son of Zuma was honoured in this manner in the province of Imo? Is not he the same king that dealeth dishonorably in the manner that he spent the gold and silver from the treasury of his country? Is not he that the magistrate put a charge against for taking bribe?

12. Is not it under the reigns of this king that his people persecute our brethren who dwelleth in his land and even put many to death and rendered their businesses desolate?

13. Howbeit the Governor treat us with great disdain? For we laboureth for over ninety days without wages and he said unto us "be thou of long suffering for there is no gold and silver in the treasury that I may pay thee thy wages". And yet he spent millions of shekels to honour the son of Zuma.

14. And the head of the labourers declared according to this words unto the people saying, "arise this day and gird thy loins for we shall march across the city of owerri, even unto the gate of the Governor.

15. And they march across the city and declared according to this words unto the Governor, "thou dealeth treacherously with us in the manner thou sayeth 'there is no gold and silver in the treasury that I may pay thee thy wages'. Wherefore thou honoureth the son of Zuma with so much riches from the treasury?

16. This thing shall ye do, oh Governor: remove the graven image of Jacob the son of Zuma from the city that there might be peace in the land".

17. And the Governor replied them in this manner. "Harken unto my voice oh ye inhabitants of the land. I shall not be careful in the manner with which I answereth thee on this matter.

19. Go back to thy tents, for I, even the son of Okorocha hath repenteth not that I made a graven image of Jacob the son of Zuma. For many more of this statues shall ye see in the city of Owerri in the days ahead".

That explains why you have to be careful the way you react when NIGERIANS are in trouble. Gods judgement is falling on many of them especially those YORUBA MUSLIMS that the MUSLIM North is using to champion the campaign against the church. Misfortune will continue to fall on them direct from the throne of God. Everyone who positions themselves for the devil to use them shall fall in JESUS mighty name.Amen.

To think that the ignoramus got five other ignorant likes is disturbing...the mumu wants a free university with quality education to be provided by the church? And if you ask the mumu to pay tithes he will start foaming from the mouth..ask him to come teach for free in his fantasy university and he will remember that he has to feed and cloth himself...Nigerians are willfully deceptive even unto themselves!

You forgot to write:

"Proud to be a sheep that refuses to use brain"

Well you are partially correct. Jesus says I am the sheep and He is the true and good shepherd so of course i need direction and guidance.

Superhumanist indeed, you are free to make your decisions but let me be with mine. Is your money missing

@OP and his like.. there will be days of victory and salvation for the righteous ONLY.. It was foretold that there will be times of tribulations and sorrow.. death and despair for the brethren. Why cry out when those days are still beyond thee. The attacks are only signs of things to come but before the Church smells victory.. there shall be death, pain, sorrow, anguish, despair.. Jesus foretold of this on the mount.. make your peace because the time shall come UNFAILINGLY

McBeal10:
pls I'd like you to enlighten me on why their university tuitions are so expensive?
Church Universities are costly because it cost that much to run a proper University. They have to pay electricity bills of students and staff quarters. Mind you there are more people living in Covenant University than some local governments in West Africa and everyone of them consume electricity personally and in the academic area.

They are expensive because Lecturers and other workers must be paid salaries. Now understand as each lecturer in a university system grow in rank their salaries must also grow which means that the wage bill of each University must swell from time to time. Covenant now has over 95 professors some of which were employed as Lecturer 1. If you don't upgrade them as quick enough they would seek for employment elsewhere.

They are expensive because Lecturers must go for international and local academic conferences sponsored by the University each year. Each local conference support fund per lecturer per year exceeds N100,000 not to talk more of international

They are expensive because the University must pay $1000 for each journal of the University to maintain an Open access policy. Failure to do this would make a University rank low on webometrics and other ranking bodies.

They are expensive because they have to stock their libraries on a yearly basis. Covenant for instance adds 10,000 books to library per year in line with UNESCO standard.

They are expensive because as a University grows the Infrastructural need grows. And the University must continually upgrade, maintain and build structures.

They are expensive because they need to fund research work. Any meaningful research work would cost over $100,000 e.g Prof Misra Sanjay Intelligent system project of $600,000 sponsored by CU

They are expensive because they have to stock the laboratories with new equipment, regeants etc.

They are expensive because they need to spend on Consultancy services. Covenant spends 300 million naira/year on data analytics.

They are expensive because they must run an Hospital with doctors and Nurses that must be paid. Covenant Uni clinic has 12 doctors and about 30 Nurses with several other professional etc.

I could continue to give you reasons but this would suffice.

TITHE WAS SPECIALLY FOR THE LEVITES, who were specially ordained by God to act as Mediators to his people here on earth.
Jesus christ came in and stood as the mediator so we never have to be slaves no more to tithing
