IGNORANT VOICES FROM HELL!

By Leke Beecroft

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:18

If you are a believer and you are puzzled by the continuing attack against the Church, then you need to learn a few things. However if you are unfazed by it, then you probably have an understanding of the times. Let me make it categorically clear that the Church will NOT lose this battle. Ask Pharaoh... ask Sanballat and Tobias...ask Judas Iscariot...ask Saul (St Paul)...ask the adversaries of Martin Luther...ask those who mocked Seymour....ask those who called Idahosa 'Mushroom Pastor'...ask those who coined the proverb "as poor as a Church rat" ...ask Jim Obazee...and many others.

Please join me on this trip...We are obviously in the last days, a time so well spoken about in scriptures. A time for the Rising or Falling of many depending on whichever side of the divide you belong.

Jesus referring to this period prophesied:

"And because WICKEDNESS shall abound, the love of many will FREEZE (Wax Cold)

But he that shall ENDURE unto the END, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:12-13.

We are seeing these today before our very eyes. Where ignorant voices from hell want to hear everything evil happen to the Church and do not wish anything good for the Church. Truly, this desire can NOT be the Gospel. I went back in my thoughts over the years while verifying with facts where memory seemed to fail me and I have brought this list for all to ponder.

For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with Faith in them that heard it.

pls I'd like you to enlighten me on why their university tuitions are so expensive?
Do you have an idea on how much it costs to run a standard primary and secondary school not to talk of universities? Do you know how many times they have tried to increase tuition fee of public universities? Government is currently groaning on what it cost to run its federal universities which even have poor infrastructures. These things cost serious money

May the media help bring the Church to her senses. The Church in Nigeria has lost focus. The flamboyant lifestyle of the pastors and heretic prosperity messages from the pulpits are the reasons why corruption is on the increase. If the salt is still tasty, it should preserve the society from decadence.

Who among the corrupt politician that are being checked by our Muslim president is not a heavy tither in their various churches. Yet their pastors never told them the truth

Folks like you are the reason these pastors scam people.
Go and read your bible...Ananias and Saphira were not paying tithes....the early Christians agreed to sell all they had and pool the money together to live in communion with each other.
So When Ananias and Saphira agreed to it and then reneged on it, the angel of God came in to keep them to what they swore.

And do your pastor share his wealth with you ? Does he share his house and car and food with you ? Then stop mentioning Ananias and Saphira because during that time, everybody in the church lived together, prayed together, ate together, and shared everything equally in communion.

Church Universities are costly because it cost that much to run a proper University. They have to pay electricity bills of students and staff quarters. Mind you there are more people living in Covenant University than some local governments in West Africa and everyone of them consume electricity personally and in the academic area.

They are expensive because Lecturers and other workers must be paid salaries. Now understand as each lecturer in a university system grow in rank their salaries must also grow which means that the wage bill of each University must swell from time to time. Covenant now has over 95 professors some of which were employed as Lecturer 1. If you don't upgrade them as quick enough they would seek for employment elsewhere.

They are expensive because Lecturers must go for international and local academic conferences sponsored by the University each year. Each local conference support fund per lecturer per year exceeds N100,000 not to talk more of international

They are expensive because the University must pay $1000 for each journal of the University to maintain an Open access policy. Failure to do this would make a University rank low on webometrics and other ranking bodies.

They are expensive because they have to stock their libraries on a yearly basis. Covenant for instance adds 10,000 books to library per year in line with UNESCO standard.

They are expensive because as a University grows the Infrastructural need grows. And the University must continually upgrade, maintain and build structures.

They are expensive because they need to fund research work. Any meaningful research work would cost over $100,000 e.g Prof Misra Sanjay Intelligent system project of $600,000 sponsored by CU

They are expensive because they have to stock the laboratories with new equipment, regeants etc.

They are expensive because they need to spend on Consultancy services. Covenant spends 300 million naira/year on data analytics.

They are expensive because they must run an Hospital with doctors and Nurses that must be paid. Covenant Uni clinic has 12 doctors and about 30 Nurses with several other professional etc.

I could continue to give you reasons but this would suffice.

hmm thxs. but it's kind of sad knowing their some lower earners who attend these churches but can't afford to send their children to these church formed institutions. really sad.

Op God bless. The church will be under attack so there's nothing new. Expect more attacks on tithes and different scandals about churches very soon. Watch how Lucifer will use many Christians in this forum to achieve his aims afterwards lure them to hell. Watch how many Christians will die like chicken after Lucifer has accomplished his task then many atheist will laugh and scorn them asking after their God.
The Bible made it clear that the love of God will become cold while there will be many doctrines, words that will sound good to the ear. This is the fulfilment of the prophecy in the Bible

Yes it was not tithe but it was a contribution. You can give it any name you like but people made such contributions then and no it wasn't in the old testament.

Look here, no one is fighting the church, people are only asking valid questions, and its normal, as long as those heading churches are humans its only normal to keep a check on them, even the Bible said that in the last days there would be a lot of false prophets, so you feel no one should talk about the church or ask questions especially when its clear some have turned the work of God into a business?

This write up of yours is as a result of the tithe issue going on now.

I have some questions about this tithing issue:
-Tithing was a law under Moses law. Are we still under the law of Moses? Tithing was a Jewish Church custom, why do pastors of present only pick tithing and not practising the other numerous Jewish customs as well?

-Tithes were for the Levites, are pastors from the tribe of Levi as well? Are we not the Gentiles?

-Levites were not allowed to have land or property and hence tithes was suppose to be for their up keep, why do pastors of now own property and lands and private jets and still collect tithes?

-When Abraham paid tithe, he did it just once! The Israelites paid tithes once from a years harvest, and then after 3 years, so where in the Bible did our present pastors get it that tithes should be paid monthly?

-The apostles who founded churches across the world back then, why didn't ANY of them including Jesus collect tithes? Back then Jesus himself paid tax to the government when he sent for a coin to be collected from a fish to pay his tax, yet he never collected any tithe, our pastors don't pay tax, yet they collect tithes which Jesus and his disciples never did, why is this so?

-Why do our pastors find it so hard to back up their argument about tithing with biblical scriptures?

Jesus always preached about love and giving to the poor and even rebuked the Jews back then that tithing is a less important thing and they should concentrate on more important things like love.

To me, what I give out is usually higher than even 10% of tithe. So are you telling me that its better I gave out 10% for tithe and expect blessings and not help those I supported financially? A relative asked me for help so she can complete her school fees, a friend who is unemployed asked that I help him with some cash as he is broke, what I spent is even more than tithe. A very hard working lady close to my office who hawks water told me how she needed money to upgrade her services, I gave her some cash and promised to add more when I can. I was coming from work some nights ago and I met a woman whom I have never seen before, she stopped me and asked that I help her with some money so her and her kids can eat that night, I gave her most of the money on me and only remained the money I would need for transportation the next day. Similarly, while passing through a restaurant, a young man walked to me and asked that I buy food for him and his sister, I happily helped out, that is the love God was talking about.

There is no way you can be under any curse as erroneously said if you don't tithe, just make sure you help your fellow brothers/sisters, and do it in love and you would surely prosper! Most of the richest people in the world are not even practicing Christians let alone tithers. Now because of this free money of tithes, lots of fake pastors have come out as weeds to benefit from this.

As for me I prefer giving more than my 10% to my fellow people in need than paying tithe. Just work hard, love God, love your neighbour, give to those in need whenever the opportunity arises, and nothing would stop you from prospering in life, nothing has stopped me, your case can't be different either.

do you reject the blessings of old testament?

Op, forget this long epistle.

Get it clearly. I am a christian and have been all my life from when I could cross the road and read and write.

No one is against giving or against the church. What people are against are the flamboyancy that is being blown around today, without true reflection about the lifestyle of Jesus Christ.

The is supposed to be a charity organization from inception and Levites are not supposed to work or establish Universities, operate airlines and sell books to make more money.

How did Paul, Peter and other apostles in the bible fund the missionary works and Journey? Did they do it through what we see now?

That's exactly what is bringing the 'attack' against the church.
The other day, some workers/ elders stole N11millioin from RCCG, cos they knew there was so much money available to the church, yet millions are hungry and have no place to rest their head at night.

Yes, the church is involved in charity works, but what's the % of the income that they use for charity?
Church should use minimum of 70% of income/giving for charity and the rest for the church workers.
If we do this, then you would not fi d pastors with private jets or flashy cars.

I am a tither and would continue to pay tithe, but some other things, I will not do

A certain billionaire Nigerian that's my client told me something last year, 2016.
He said we give to pastors, give to their families and to church, but how many Nigerians have received from their pastors ordinary gifts for birthday and wedding or burial. The man told me, the pastors would say, they'll support you in prayers for your events or occasions, but they will never give you tangible gifts or ordinary card.

Is is so true. I'm yet to receive birthday gift from any pastor, apart from text messages prayers or WhatsApp message.
Ask yourselves, are they exempted from the doctrine of giving? But they can give their wives N30m

You are no Christian.

HAVE YOU EVEE READ YOUR BIBLE BEFORE ? OR YOU JUST SWALLOW UP ALL THE JUNK YOUR PASTOR GIVES YOU ?

TIthe is 10% of what you have... Was it 10% that was demanded in Ananias case ? Or for them to sell everything ?

You dropped ur whatsapp number... I will use it as connection point to pray for God to open your eyes.... Your brain has been washed
Which one is even more? Ordinary 10% you're complaining, so you want people to bring more than that? Now I get you brother.

Its so shameful that Jesus clearly stated in Matthew that tithing was the least of what we should be concerned of, but since it is the main stay of all this scaming pastors, they have to device all means to fight to sustain it, even though its evidently unbiblical.

In Numbers the Levites specially set aside to be the only ones to act as mediators between God and the isrealites, and their pay was the 10% which was given them, as God didnt give them any other form of inheritance.
From their tithe they(levite) were to pay 10% from all of it to the High priest.. And after 3yrs they were to give back some to the people to use it in bying whatever they needed.

Jesus however came in and bridged the gap, back then all supplication were to the high priest, who then offered burnt offerings to God. But Jesus came in and Sacrificed himself, so that through him, all men could connect directly to God...thereby doing away with the need of the levite.

In Romans, the word of God says that we are all called to the Royal Priesthood to be Priest and Kings.
Thus we all our priest, and the only 10% we need to give is to God directly.
Back then it was by burn offering... But When the rich man came to Jesus to ask how to make eternal life, Jesus told him to sell his riches and give to the poor.

And today, Jesus Christ does not demand for Just 10% of us, He demands that we give our body, and soul to God, and to him alone.

So all these noise about tithing is kind of silly, as it is alien to Christianity, as neither Jesus Christ nor his disciples demanded of them... It was for the Levites, and to them only.
So stop fighting or trying to win points for all these yahoo yahoo pastors, that have disgraced the church by Monetizing everything ....

Drops Mic

Noisemaker. So it's your body they will use to fund projects?

Listen to me and listen to me very carefully! I spent nearly 20 years of my life in the Orthodox church. I have also spent some time in the Pentecostal church. There is absolutely no division between the Orthodox and Pentecostal. We are one body and one family rooted in Christ so carry ur division back to wherever you picked it from.

I am happy you are tearing their garments of stupidity one by one. We must not keep quiet and let heretics spread falsehood as truths. Kudos, man.

of course its been about the tithe. Nothing else. If it was sanctification doctrine freeze spoke about nobody will come out to defend anything. Mammon worshippers are defending the tithes they should not ordinarily even talk about. Tithe is false doctrine. Believers should give but not under any compulsions to pay 10% in this era.
Are you sure you are not the mammon worshipper? Why haven't you attacked circumcision done in this era? Why haven't you attacked the fact that Christians go to Church every Sunday which is actually not recommended in scripture. Why are you so concerned about the Tithe question only......maybe because you love money......

RCCG camp is as big as the country of liecheistein. I have heard people moving there all the way from Lekki. That place can accommodate hundreds of thousands of people and as years go by that would surely happen.
