Begotten is past participle of beget.
You do the mathematics, and tell yourself the bitter truth. Psalms 90:2, for clarity, please read different bible translations at biblehub.

Colossians 1:15 (KJV),Jesus "the first born of every creature"

Rev3:12-14, Further PROOF Jesus is a creature of the Father, Yahweh..

"The beginning of God's creation" meaning the first of God's creation.
In the same manner, ' the beginning of birth pangs'. meaning the start, or first of birth pangs, NOT the ruler of birth pangs.

Can you see that your logic is flawed? John10:29,Jesus says " The Father of Jesus is GREATER THAN ALL (meaning the Father is greater than Jesus. John14:28.)

Of course Jesus was created, that's why the Bible writer Paul {inspired by God's holy spirit} wrote "he is the first born of all creation" Colossians 1:15

"Only begotten son of God" means he was DIRECTLY created by our Almighty Father! Proverbs 8:22

Though after Jesus' birth as the first creature, God started instructing Jesus on how to go about all other creative works! Proverbs 8:30 compared to Colossians 1:16-17

God refers to all his intelligent creatures as sons {Genesis 6:2,Job 1:6,Luke 3:38} but in the case of Jesus who was created directly by God himself, the Bible often refer to him{Jesus} as God's only begotten son! John 3:16

The only verse that confused the Bible translators is John 1:1

The most popular version KJV translated this verse as "in the beginning WAS the word, and the word WAS with God, and the word WAS God"
Most Bible readers don't know that the title God wasn't rendered in Capital or Small letters during the writing of the scriptures. The title God was written the same way from Genesis through Revelations. Therefore if you find the title God in your Bible, don't get confused that that's the exact way the inspired writers penned it down! All deities including the Almighty God was rendered the same form like god, it's the Bible translators that is using their own discretion to differentiate between the Almighty and other gods by using the capital and small letters.

So that's why most Bible translators didn't render John 1:1 the same way the KJV did. For instance many wrote it this way

In the beginning WAS the word, and the word WAS with God and the word WAS ~

But the most important thing notable is the past tense all the translators used for the word. They all made it clear that the word WAS which means the person in question served as God in some point in time, but presently the word no more serve as God!
For instance, @ Exodus 7:1 we read that God said he is making Moses God to Pharaoh {the Egyptian emperor} and of course Pharaoh didn't know the Almighty God {Exodus 5:2} but Moses who is God's representative served as God in Egypt until Pharaoh was forced to let God's people go!

Jesus the word also served as God for a purpose in some times past, but presently he is no more serving as God. He is now sitting at the right hand side of God Almighty in heaven! Act 7:55-56

John.1.3 - Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Now let's go back to Genesis 1(in the beginning).

Jesus is the light,I believe He came into existence at the mention of that word..

It is through the light that every other thing was created.
