I have actually experienced these episodes people call 'witch attacks'.For a fact, as some friends already mentioned it is sleep paralysis. In one of the episodes, I could hear a familiar voice in the dream, but when I eventually woke up, it was simply a friend speaking loudly in the next room!
I believe stress was my major contributing factor, but there could be an underlying medical reason... I never woke up to see any scratches or physical injuries...

Oga, I speak as both a medical doctor who had to deal with sleep paralysis personally AND as a practicing bible believing Christian. Sleep paralysis is o necessarily a spiritual attack

Bros, you are making a very wrong assumption here. Not everybody has experienced sleep paralysis.

I think you really ought to be careful about your assumptions. That “ordinary headache” can be caused by things as simple as hunger to things as complex as a brain tumor.

Oga, speaking from personal experience, I agree with you that it is spiritual. I however do not agree with you that it is necessarily a spiritual attack. Theses are two different things.
In answer to the obvious question my position raises, because man is spirit , soul and body, it becomes immediately obvious that a sleep paralysis episode involves a man’s spirit since there is consciousness though the body cannot move. This in my opinion makes it spiritual.
In some other cultures and in some occultist paratices it is linked to astral projection and trancedental meditation (look it up).
This makes spiritual not necessarily a spiritual attack.

By the way, whether it is medical or spiritual, God answering your prayer by stopping it does not automatically confine it to the realm of something spiritual alone if we truly believe that God can affect outcomes.

when I was in secondary school I experienced it often and the I realised it was do to my sleeping position. I realised that after I wake up, I almost facing up in my bed. It was so scary and then I started laying on my stomach. And whenbi got used to that position, i stopped experiencing it. However, I'm someone that can have more than 10dreams in a night. Some are fun and some are scary. Whenever I watch a scary movie, I will have a nightmare and being a person that likes hoodie movies, I justvwave them away. Our dreams are 99% about the thing we experience during the day, the thing we wish for like in the case of sex in the dream, the things we dread the most, and in the case of eating, I noticed that whatever most of the things I eat in the dream are the ones I wished to eat. Sometimes when I wake up I will just make sure I get that thing during the. day and eat.
The blast time I had sleep paralysis was during my service year when I moved into the corpers' lordge. I was so scared of the place that I couldn't sleep in the night. I can be very scared of thing that are not even worth being scared of but that doesn't prevent me from watching horror films. So one night I felt someone strangling me and I was struggling but the person was too powerful for me.I tried to shout The name of Jesus but my voice was no where to be found. I kept shouting Jesusain my inner voice that could not be heard but the person was still trying to strangle me to death. Then all of a sudden I got my voice and immediately the name Jesus came out loud from my mouth, the person left me and walk out of my room. Then I woke up.
My door was locked and my window even locked cos I usually close if before sleeping because of fear. I stopped closing my window at night from that day because it was as if the fear of the new place went with the dream. When I narrated my dream to a fellow corper, she told me it was a serious attach and if I had looked outside, I would have seen the person walking out. I told her if it was as she had said, then I would have died long time ago because that's wasn't new to me.
During that same service year, there was this bakery where we go to buy freshly baked bread almost everyday. Sometimesvibdrwamnof eating the bread Whenever I isn't buy it for some time and my neighbour will tell me not to finish the bread in the bread is when I'm going to bed. Sometimes he will tell me to save some so that we can wait in the morning. I dream of eating other delicious mseals to and some are weird combinations. LOL

Sleep paralysis can come in many forms. Even sometimes, it would seem as if many hands are pressing you down and turning you around, yet it is still sleep paralysis. The OP is looking for something to be scared of. Pastors will probably teach him a lesson. I wonder how witches are pressing christians when they should be pressing witches

I'm a very light sleeper who can be deeply asleep and still hear someone talking or walking in the house. Most times it will be as if I'm dreaming. Recently I started tapping my leg on my bed when I'm sleep in and sometimes it's so loud that someone within my compound can hear it. Sometimes my granny will hear it from her room and even though my room Dorr is closed, when she tell me to stop doing it I will hear her and stop immediately. Yet I'm sleeping. I do hear it But can't stop it because it's usually as if I'm awake and playing with my legs. I can even remember the night it started, that was in my second year during exams. Sometime ago in school, I was hitting my leg so hard on the bunk and despite the pain, I could not stop it and the. When my room mate said my name and asked to stop, I stopped. And when I woke up, I saw that I bruised my toe in the processing. I didn't wear shoes for days cos of the bruises. It stopped for sometime after school but these days it's greeting too much.

Weird but funny. My grannybsaid she. Look for a rope and be tying y both legs together so that I wonder be able to raise them and be tapping or banking it on the bed. It could be both legs tapping silmultaneously or one hanging and one doing the taping. Other times it one might be resting on the bed and the orther will be tapping the bed.
I'm a very silent sleeper such that you might even know I'm there except for the taping of the leg. These I learned a way of stoping it. I started crossing my legs when I sleep
