Say No to Adultery and Formication
Quran says:

"…and do not come near Zina(adultery,fornication etc); indeed, it is an abomination and an evil way" (Al-
Isra': 32),

" ...come not nigh to indecent deeds. Whether open or secret;... "(6:151)

"Say: the things that my Lord hath
indeed forbidden are: Indecent deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge. "(7:33)
Also read Quran 24:30-31

The Bible says in

1 Thessalonians 4:3
“For this is the will of God, that you should be holy and abstain from sexual immorality.”

1 Corinthians 9:10 says, “Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled.
Those who are sexually immoral
(fornication), idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves,
greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.”

As noticed from the scriptures above, we see that God hates sexual immorality or
fornication. God even goes to say that those who practice such things will not be allowed in his Kingdom. God intended for sex to take place only between those who are married (Hebrews 13:4). Also read Acts 15:20 ;
1 Corinthians 5:1 ; 6:13,2 Corinthians 12:21 ;
Galatians 5:19 ; Ephesians 5:3 ;
Colossians 3:5 ;
1 Thessalonians 4:3

The temptation comes from east west and south immediately one starts praying earnestly. The devil is a liar.

and most importantly,go for deliverance.the demons the makes sin so sweet to us doesn't automatically go away when we give our life to Christ and become born again.we need to cast them out after becoming born again.or else we will keep on struggling with sins in our Christian walk with God .cast out those demos with fasting and prayer or seek deliverance from genuine minister
very true. God delivered me from the spirit of fornication and masturbation of almost 19 years.i have been struggling with it all these while.until i went for deliverance. now i have no feelings for such. this habit drew me backwards. Thank God for His mercies

There is no specific prohibition in the Bible against sex between an unmarried man and unmarried woman. However, "sexual immorality" is denounced in about 25 passages in the New Testament. Some of them are in mark 7:20-23,Gal 5:19-21,1 cor 6:18-20,1The 4:3-5.
The Bible does not provide a specific list of acts that constitute "sexual immorality," but these verses, also written by Paul, seem to say that any sexual intercourse, except between husband and wife, would be wrong hence it is sinful. You find that in 1 cor 7:1-5,1 cor 7:8-9
I have read this places.It keeps one in check.Its not easy.

Please if what you just said is true,then why is Apostle Paul still struggling with SINFUL desires? Romans 7:13-25 And why didn't this Apostle who was DIRECTLY called and ANOINTED by Jesus Christ Himself just cast out the demons causing humans to sin? God bless you Sir!

I don't think OP is here to argue with anyone

I believe he wants to inspire those want to live right

Living a righteous life is a choice

But there's a mandate from God that we MUST pattern our lives to look like Christ's

And 'having a choice' was the best thing that happened to us, I firmly believe

So, anyone giving us guides to achieve celibacy must be appreciated

Desisting from sin and fornication is difficult for sexually active youths, but we must rise up to condemn anyone who mocks you (esp the guys) for being celibate.

We must continue to share hints on how to avoid and 'resist' fornication. If we must be Christians, we should be Christ-like and not hypocrites.

Let me add: life in Christ is cheap...no boozing, no spending money on girls because u want to sleep with them and most importantly, heaven is assured

Thank you, OP

If you engage in fornication, most likely you will have a 70% and 50% probability of engaging in adultery for Men and women respectively under certain circumstances.

Hmmn this is indirectly referring to me, there's this girl that has been inviting me over to her place for a very long time for s*x and am planning on going there tomorrow, my heart says don't go! But my body can't resist the urge, I really need divine intervention to stop me from going there before tomorrow
Re: Why Christians Still Battle With Fornication. by FaithfulServant(m): 12:37pm On Aug 19, 2018
The power over fornication and sexual urge is in having the Spirit of God and your ability to control what you look.

Even though you may not know, the things you look trigger your sexual urge which leads to fornication. Like the internet for instance is filled with immoral pictures and unless you start guarding your sight of these things, your struggle over your sexual urge will still persist.

I say this from experience because I once had struggle over my sexual urge. Though it didn't lead to fornication but it lead to something else i.e mastubation, but I overcame when I gave my life to Christ and I keep my sexual urge abase by being mindful of what I look both on and off the internet.

I don’t actually understand what is sinful in experimenting or catching pleasure with parts of our body
Have you not read? Your body is not yours as far you have given your life to Christ. You are bought with a PRICE. It is the Temple of the HOLY GHOST. Flee from fornication!!!!

1 Corinthians 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

uchkochi rules dont stop the flesh which is what i hear around churches neither does condemning those that do fornicate...

This is a better way,

1. Every king and priest should know that His/Her identity is King and Priest

2. If they are facing a temptation, they should consciously see it as "Am a King and a Priest facing this temptation"

3. When thr king and priest yield to the temptation, They should see that "Am a King and a Priest who yielded to the temptation of fornication!" [Separating the behaviour from the IDENTITY]

4. Now renewing of the mind is FOCUSING on who they are... They are King and Priest and this is thier IDENTITY not sinners!

5. Repent (change their mind about their identity - NOT sinners BUT Kings and Priest"wink and Believe they are Kings and Priest which is their IDENTITY.

6. With the conscious FOCUS on their EXALTED IDENTITY, they will see that why should Bring myself [King and Priest] this low to fornicate, then this leads to CONFESSING : acknowledging God's verdict about the sin AND LOOKS TO THE BLOOD OF CHRIST which keeps US Kings and Priests always cleansed.

The Spirit-man weak....lack of self control,not studying the Word open doors to devil why christians continue in sin .
Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him. ]But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God
