Shut up!

Picking a wife in Nkanu in Enugu is very cheap and they will return your bride's price.

In Osuochi in Abia State they return the bride's price too

The east is a region with same language and culture but not without few differences in the elements of culture

Stop writing nonsense on nairaland

Aturu!

Forget the fool. Most people don't travel and they are not afraid to show their ignorance. Most part of igbo land dont even demand much for traditional rites except some places in Imo state.Enugu State is a place you can get a wife without spending much as their cultures is not too inclined in that aspect. So many dumb people on the internet space.Smh

Guess you meant ISUOCHI my home town wink
Yea, you're right. It costs next to zero to marry from my place.
Just last weekend they came to seek my sister's hand in marriage, we asked them to bring whatever they can.
They were surprised we served them chilled drinks even when their crates of drinks was by the corner (but they surpassed our expectation though) Lol.

Tiv people are very generous especially their women. Generous in the sense that they can't stay with just one man.

Lmao!

A yoruba woman above 40 must have given birth to at least 5 children with all having different fathers.

Look at this stupid boy with archaic and shallow reasoning. Who told you?
Did you provide their needs or take care of their wellbeing?
You speak like an illiterate.
I would have ignored you 'cos you are obviously an empty vessel making a hell of noise but i want to correct an impression. Young boy do you think you just get married when you feel there's enough food to feed both you and your wife and also the children when they start pouring in 'cos that's what the Tiv people do, they don't born children they breed them. That's capital NO, there's more to fatherhood than providing food and buying things for your children. Your post has obviously told me your age and how you reason. Starting it with an insultive sentence shows you can't stand the truth and ending it with an insultive sentence further showed how you address elders in your community. You can go and argue with your ancestors 'cos you are deficient in understanding, lacking in respect and bereft of common sense.

I never ready to marry. Any lady that is clamoring for marriage, I don't want to have anything related to love (emotions/affections) with them.
