We haven't qualified yet. We need to wait for result of the match between Tanzania and Uganda. Because if Uganda wins, then it's still open.

Lool...I know one of those boys from about 5 years ago in school. He played for our hall and used to score lots of goals. We called him Aguero. Let's assume this guy is actually 19, at worst, are You saying he got admission to the university at 14?

He's a really good player, no doubt, and has even registered a goal in this tournament. But I'm very sure he's no U-17.

Lol. Replay showed a member of the Eaglets' coaching crew angrily jumping up in the air and doing " Shaygay" or is it "Waka" with his ten fingers at Olusegun when the boy fluffed yet another glorious opportunity to score. I found that very hilarious. cheesy grin grin

He should not fluff an opportunity to get a good club. At such age, he should be a poacher and not try scoring fantastic goals..a simple placement would have scored the goal or he would have passed like you said. I am even surprised at the unselfish nature of Ubani (9)...He passes well when he needs to rather than going for glory. I think one of the coaches was even talking to Olusegun when he went for that treatment in Yoruba. I heard."O need gbogbo iyen", "you don't need all that". I guess he was referring to the one on one chance he missed before he was injured. The person felt he used too much time before making contacts with the ball.

the other guy was offside....

I've been wondering if he was the one I saw on the pitch too. We gained admission together same year in oau. He was one of the top scorer in Awo hall that year. In 2014.

The only stupid person here is you. Common sense should tell you that while addressing people of various tribes and languages it is preferable to speak in a language they can all understand.
Ayhomes:
so Yoruba is not Nigeria Language again or what? are u their coach or u know the players better than him....Must you guys display your stupidity all the time ?
Re: Nigeria Vs Angola: Africa U-17 Cup Of Nations - 1 - 0 (Full Time) by trapQ: 5:02pm On Apr 17, 2019
So you feel communication would be effective when some of the players are not Yoruba and don't hear the language.
For reference, a non-yoruba player was with the ball and the coach was "supposedly" giving instructions in yoruba. How did he expect the player to understand what was being said?

zinizta:

effective communication would be a good reason

didn't u see the way they were behaving like Ballack in front of goal instead of Lampard?

I did not attend Ife but I can decipher who he is. If his nickname is Aguero, he must be diminutive. The scorer of today's goal is not dimunitive so we move to the first game. In the first game, the first goal scorer and one other guy are diminutive and are both left footed. A simple google workout will reveal O.O (Faculty of Tech) as the answer to your puzzle. I wonder what you are hiding though grin grin grin. Don't mind me, I can unravel any hidden info with just 5 minutes on my computer. Call me a "virtual inspector Bediako" if you wish. cheesy cheesy cheesy

grin grin grin grin Top detective work. You get full marks for effort. He's our guy by the way. I saw a lot of players pass through Awo, during my 4 year stay at Awo but Aguero was mesmerising in attack. He couldscore all type of goals, plays with both feet too. Proper player.

Bros calm down now. We all know the drill. We know how Naija is. Proper opportunity never comes to the average youth at the right time. So it's nice to see one of our own getting his own platform and showcasing his talents to the world.
