is there any biblical background for the singing of HU? I had an ECK friend, and he has some pictures of some strange looking people and he said they are past eck masters living in some other planes.can you explain the roles of these past eck masters in the lives of living ecks like you today? also, explain what you mean by soul travel and how does it work. i'll be expecting your responses soon, thank you. |

Psalms 91 verse 14 :" Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will i deliver him. i will set him on high, because he hath known my name" verse 15: " He shall call upon me, and i will answer him. i will be with him in trouble, i will deliver him, and honour him. That name is HU. it was removed from Bible by the priest craft because they want people to continue coming to them for deliverance instead of relying solely on this Holy name of God. Now Eckankar is giving back to the world what was hidden from them by the priest craft. we are not asking any body to believe it. you have to prove it for yourself that this truly is the Holy name of God.
Those past ECK Masters work with the Present Living ECK Master to bring the Truth to those Souls who are ready for it. Each Master is a specialist in one area of spirituality. so if you need training or more understanding in a particular area, that ECK Master who is a specialist in that area can come and provide more insight for you.
Soul Travel is simply expansion of the consciousness to encompass other realms or planes which ordinary human senses can not penetrate. It is also the process of Soul going back to God. The process of Soul Travel involves Soul withdrawing its attention from the outside world and focusing it on the third eye or window of Soul which is the space between the two eyebrows. Soul then moves out into the heavenly worlds when this window opens to explore those planes and it then comes back with the memory of its journey intact. Singing of the Holy Name of God HU, is a very simple way of starting this Journeys into the Heavenly worlds. thanks and remain blessed |

Earth was created for the purpose of providing an enabling environment for Soul to grow spiritually and develop the qualities of God then and only then can It go home permanently. but before that Soul has the privilege of temporary visiting the Heavenly planes through the process of Soul Travel. Soul Travel serves the purpose of reminding Soul that it is a stranger here and is here for a purpose which if It accomplishes it, Soul can then choose to stay in the heavenly worlds permanently or to return and help other Souls to find their way home.
Eckists do study the examples of other spiritual giants who have graced the earth but we do not stop there. we also work very hard to become spiritual giants like them. Soul owes it as a duty to itself to grow in spiritual awareness and become a master in its own right and then help others. The past masters are always available to help any soul who ask for their help but unfortunately many people have forgotten how to get in touch with them. it has absolutely nothing to do with ancestral worship. |

The HU song is directed to the Almighty God which in ECK we refer to as The Sugmad. The almighty God is not a tribal god and It does not have a favourite race nor does it have a favourite religion or language. It is only concerned with Soul completing Its lessons and coming back home to It to become a co-worker with It. all those concepts of God having a religious and tribal bias are all concepts steming from the ego of man who always want to lord it over his fellow man when in reality we are all one before God.
there are so many ways of praying and you have to experiment to find the one that fits your state of consciousness that will enable you to see the light and hear the sound of God. the unique thing about the HU song is that It fits all states of consciousness and does not belong to any tribe, any language or any religion. God gave it out to Souls to use in finding their way back home to It. so the HU song makes a very good starting point. if you are a christian you can also try singing JESUS or CHRIST or GOD in a long drawn out way for 15 to 20 minutes and then remain silent and listen, in contemplation you can ask:" God show me the truth" then watch what happens. remain blessed |

@ otheloze like i said earlier, Jehovah is in charge of the 2nd plane. His work is to create illusions for Soul. To make Soul think that He is the almighty God. Souls caught up in this web can remain at that level for several incarnations until they are able to see beyond this illusion. It is all part of God's educational plan for soul and truth will never come to those who are docile but to those who are bold and adventurous. On the part of Sango and Ogun they are much lower in the hierarchy as they are in charge of Elemental Spirits that run the physical or 1st plane. Remain blessed |

@ otheloze In actual fact Jehovah is not a tribal God. Of course there are other gods that are in charge of other planes. The problem i have is that most of my browsing is done on a phone which does not support yahoo messenger. The few times i try to browse on my laptop with a modem , the speed is so slow that it is difficult opening yahoo messenger. You can send your private questions to my gmail or my yahoo mail for now. @ chieveboy of course you can generate your own spiritual exercise and you can also adapt existing one to fit your need. In spiritual matters you have to be very flexible and nimble and open to the flow of the Holy Spirit guiding you from moment to moment. Remain blessed |

Hi ben,can you elaborate on the quote below.especially the fasting part,is it same fasting christian do. Fast continuously from all Kal (negative) thoughts which could infect your mental state and consciousness. Through this you learn the powerful awareness of the presence of the Living ECK Master, who is with you constantly. My second question.since I started singing Hu I dreamt about the future twice,this has never happened before.what does it mean,do things happen in the spiritual before the physical.when I had them I did't know it was about the future until it happened,how do I know incase of next time.Fear still creeps in,would appreciate any advise on that. |

you have to realise that the mind is the greatest obstacle that Soul needs to overcome in order to enter the true spiritual worlds. It is the mind that creates dichotomies and classifies things into good and bad, beautiful and ugly etc. If you look at life from the view point of Soul, you will discover that there are no dichotomies or divisions. All is one. The only thing there is, are the causes that Soul sets into motion and the lessons it learns from the effects of these causes. When you rise above the mind, you become a pure channel for the Holy Spirit, the ECK. All the causes you put into motion comes only from the God centre within you and is only for the upliftment of all life, then you have become the ECK of Itself. |

Fasting continuously from negative thoughts is known as Mental Fasting. It is the recommended fasting for Eckist as it is used to discipline the mind. It is different from the Christian fast because in Mental Fast, you are free to eat and carry out all your activities but in every thing you do, you keep your attention on God and you do not allow any negative thought into your mind and you do not say any negative word that will hurt others nor do you carry out any negative action that is detrimental to others.
i told you before that once you start singing the HU, your spiritual awareness will start expanding and you can start having the kind of experiences you just shared. Of course before anything happens here in the physical it takes place in the spiritual planes first. Those with the spiritual awareness are able to see it. There is nothing to fear. These are natural abilities of Soul which singing of the HU will restore to Soul. How you will know is through the discipline of writing down your dreams as you wake up and spending some time to contemplate on them. In contemplation ask the Holy Spirit to reveal its meaning to you. |

Now, @benodic you once said that when one is thinking or imagining; some one at the mental plane could easily see what they are thinking, l ask if there are people up there in the mental plane who could possibly use that to their advantage. lets assume am thinking of doing something for the very first time on the physical, will that guy work a fast one on me --assuming he's faster one way or the other? secondly; from one of your comments, you said their are Eckmasters and they are divided into various specialization and one could make contact with them according to what interest the seeker. l wonder if their are Masters\Eckmasters who specialize on stuffs like music, machines,computers and sorts? what master is Yeshua? i do not think so. The mental plane is home to lots of original ideas floating around in its ethers waiting for those who are matured enough to tap into it and use it for the upliftment of mankind.
There are ECK Masters that specialize in all aspects of life including music, science, architecture, herbs etc.
Yeshua was a Master of the Christ Consciousness.
yes. There are different levels of mastership. ECK Mastership is a level of total detachment from all material things known as Vairag. It is a level of Mastership where Soul becomes a pure channel for the Holy Spirit and only seeks to serve all life and carry out the will of God in life without any hesitation. Remain blessed |
