The trinity comprises of The Father, The Holy Spirit and The Son. In Eckankar The Father is the supreme God we know as the Sugmad. The Holy Spirit is the essence of God, the word through which all was made manifest. in Eckankar , the Holy Spirit is known as The ECK. The third part of the trinity is the son, who is the word made flesh that dwelt amongst men and is the channel for the love of God for all life. In Eckankar, The Son, is the Mahanta, The Living Eck Master. whereas in Christianity, The Son is Jesus Christ. |

of course i was scared. scared and excited at the same time.
it took me up to 3 months. i actually had some experience after a week but i was scared to let the experience flow so i stopped. later my love for truth drove away the fear and i was able to leave my body and travel into the inner planes. it was quite fun when i became more relaxed about it and there was no fear again. the first change i noticed after 6 months was that i have lost all fear for death. i felt more free and could easily forgive people which i was finding very difficult before.
no. you have to respect other people's space and not be a nuisance to them. but when i am with friends and family who are Eckists, i have no qualms singing it out aloud because they enjoy it too.
stumbling into a wrong path is all part of the experiences of life. it really doesn't matter. what matters is what have you learnt from the experience. and morever, once somebody is not ready for the next level of truth there is nothing you can do to make him/her to understand. i can still remember my sister who was in secondary trying to teach me the logarithm table while i was in primary school. no matter how hard i tried to grasp it, it never made sense to me until i entered secondary school. that is how it is in spiritual matters. when the student is ready, the master appears.
There are masters from all the races of the world. there are not mostly white masters. most masters choose to remain underground and unknown, working quietly behind the scenes. if you want to meet masters from your own race you can ask, you may be surprised at what you might see. Eck temples are not divided along any lines. the temples are actually open to all truth seekers no matter their religion or tribe. The Holy spirit is privy to your inner feelings and will bring to you a master that you are in harmony with.
actually there is a residual knowledge. the slate is not entirely wiped clean. the only thing you take away with you from earth is your spiritual knowledge and awareness. it follows you from one life time to another. that is why i can not suddenly become a boko haram leader in another life time. in this life time i remembered a lot of the spiritual principles i had learnt in another life so i was just looking for the next step. that is how it is.
thanks too. the pleasure is all mine and i am glad to be of help |

benodic:Hmm nice! but how do you know a certain weird name or word you heard in some faint dream is actually your spiritual name? , about kal; l didn't get what he's in charge of, does he use the negative aspect of the Eck while Jehova the positive? 1 Like |
Re: Contemplation Seeds From Eckankar by benodic: 6:35pm On Sep 04, 2011 |
@ chieveboy
you have to sing the name and see the effects it has on you. if it increases your vibrations then it may just be it.
The lower universes comprises of 4 major planes. the Kal is the Negative power in charge of all of them. Jehovah is the representative of the Kal power in the 2nd plane or Astral plane which is the next plane immediately above the physical plane. |

A Seed for Contemplation Before you can improve your life and find a measure of happiness, you must learn to do one thing every day out of pure love. That means, don’t expect anything in return—neither thanks nor happiness. Pick that occasion carefully. Then, whatever that one act of giving of yourself to someone else is, do it with all your heart. —Harold Klemp The Language of Soul |

Hi benodic, please can you elaborate on your last post.do we wait for the situation to present itself or we go searching.how else can you sing Hu when respecting space. Thanks for everything, stay blessed. |

@ Cmanforall
The choice is really up to the individual soul. if you are satisfied with what you know you can seat tight and wait. but if you still feel there is more you need to know and that there is still a void to fill, it then gives you the drive to go on searching to find the answers. how else can you sing Hu when respecting space. you can sing the HU inwardly within yourself without voicing it out. Thanks too and remain blessed. |

I have a big void and pray the holy spirit guides me with answers. But I meant your last contemplation seed, showing love and expecting nothing in return. It is a fantastic thing to do and the joy it gives can't be measured. Most times the situations present themselves and you are lead by the spirit.Your contemplation says everyday so I asked are we to go searching or move as the spirit leads(which might not happen everyday).thanks. |
Re: Contemplation Seeds From Eckankar by benodic: 6:07pm On Sep 08, 2011 |
@ Cmanforall
patience is all it takes. Answers will be revealed to you as you are ready for them.
that contemplation seed is actually a spiritual exercise. you really do not have to go searching for it because the situations are always around everyday. it only takes the awareness to see it. the situations to do something for love present themselves at our homes, at our workplace, as we are going to work, at leisure etc. how do you open your awareness to them? in the morning after doing the spiritual exercises, ask God to make you a channel for Its Divine as you go about your day. or simply declare yourself a channel for the Holy Spirit. then go about your day. you will be amazed at the number of occasions that will present themselves for you to show love without asking for reward. your whole life and day becomes one whole giving of love to all that comes across your way. |

@ cmanforall you are very welcome. Now you have finally figured it out. In real spiritual matters there is really no conflict. All there is, is love and only love. And that is what the masters have been trying to pass across to us. It is all a matter of understanding. Enjoy your day and be grateful for God's blessings in your life. |

A Seed for Contemplation The Holy Spirit will give us all that we need. First we must learn to expect the best in life, and be willing to plan and work for it. Second, we need a clear mental picture of what we desire. Third, this picture is to be maintained constantly, with the certainty that Divine Spirit will supply any rightful desire. Fourth, there must be gratitude for every good thing received. —Harold Klemp The Language of Soul Another quote |

Hi Ben,since the Eck masters have always being around what did Jesus mean when he told the deciples of another comforter.Do you have seminars in Nigeria like they do in the states.thanks |
Re: Contemplation Seeds From Eckankar by benodic: 5:40pm On Sep 16, 2011 |
@ Cmanforall
The comforter he was referring to is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not a person at all. It is the Essence of God or God in expression, the life force, The ECK. it can be seen as a light and heard as a sound. that was why the disciples during the Pentecost saw a light like tongues of fire on each of their heads and heard the sound of a rushing wind. that is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. It is the job of a spiritual master to link his students or disciples to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will then lead them to all truth. Do you have seminars in Nigeria like they do in the states.thanks of course we do. you can check the website eckankarnigeria.org for information on seminars in Nigeria. thanks and remain blessed |

A Seed for Contemplation When you work with the fullness of heart, the golden heart, you find things are being done right you never realized were being done right. A seed for contemplation The very heart of the doctrine of ECK is love. This love is that divine essence which unites all reality and brings together all souls. The higher soul goes into the other worlds the greater this becoomes. Love is the bond which holds the world together. It is the living ECK, the spirit of the Sugmad.
