Trust we all had a blissful night rest.
Despite the hard time, we thankGOD for the umerited and undeserved gift of life.
May he alone receive our praises.

I apologise for my absence for a while, i owe an explanation on a round table *jiggles*

Meanwhile, Princess "XENA" the princess warrior is doing great.
Very hyperactive and full of energy.
I am still open to learn more and new ways to improve her feeding plan to ensure good health, growth and development.
I introduced brisket bone when she turned 5month, (1st sept) though is just once or twice a week ( 4 pieces) and it's going really well.

She will turn 6month on oct 1st. And i have the intention of getting her a big bone to get her busy during my absence.

REASON BELOW:
I am living with my lil princess, yes xena stays inside, i have to convert my sitting room to hers while contruction of her kennel is ongoing, and rain aint helping atall.
Rewind to her early stage xena caused more harm, she shewed my remote,

She chewed my remote, my av wires and anything chewable.
Even my lovely cotton, as a novice, i comfirmed that is a normal thing from reasearches and more experienced dog owners, they do such just to keep the tiny teeths busy, so i have to rush get her toys and balls, meanwhile the did have been done, anyway i still got to remove everything thing in the room. (ust my electronics and other things, (no ophostery, i no get am, incase you get any to dash out lmao)
To avoid more damage and also provide more space.
But a thing is this she knows her boundry, she dosnt cross the door connecting the sitting room (now hers) to oza room. (in sm1s voice, "eh who slap me")

Fastfoward to present day.
Xena is really growing and developing well. The reason i want to get her a big bone is this.
Xena destroyed the cable, (nig cable)that dropped socket and the socket as well.
What if i wasnt around and disconnect the cable from junc box, maybe my story nw would have been diff.
Infact i had to disconnect all the cable socket

(I no de type all this cos e de swt to type, i no say pipo go learn and adjust from my exp, i de lucky and another niggy fit no de, na why i de share my testmony)

With this bone, she will get more busy, as her balls is not enough anymore.
I am even considering getting a sister (GSD or CO)
but not sure if i am ready for another dog yet.

To be candid, despite the challenge, i am really enjoying my roomie, i'll mis her when she finally packed to her kennel.
Imagine the bond with your pup when she stays in a kennel then compare when she is right inside with you.

Xena looks healthy and her coat is shiny as well but I think she kinda looks lanky.

What feeding is she currently on?

Is she currently on chicken? Chicken helps in dog growth as it's a good source both in protein and appetite

I think Vincent is right, she does look lanky, I think it's because you haven't increased her food serving recently.
she has probably grown bigger than the amount you usually give her because I can tell she's eating healthy, her coat is shiny and she looks active, it's just the quantity that's the issue.
also your fear of her getting obese is funny, don't you know she's a boerbel?
are you expecting her to be the weight of a gsd? lol feed her well abeg, the beauty of a boerbel is it's mass and bulk .
even if she adds weight she can still carry it don't be afraid lol.
at her age she should be weighing about 36-45kg which is higher than the weight of the male German Shepherd
so imagine how much all those massive adult ones we see in dog shows weigh
boerbels have the bones and frame to carry body mass, is what they're built for, more weight won't kill her or slow her down.
just keep up with a chart to know if she's adding too much weight for her age and you'll be fine bro, obesity isn't good yes but some breeds are meant to be bulky that's why you should check dog's weight based on breed.
a malnourished cauc will still weigh more than an obese gsd , it doesn't mean the dog isn't underfed.

Just like Anderson said you shouldn't be afraid of obesity or your dog getting fat. Upon how good my puppy looks yet to me I haven't bulked him up with food yet (I'm not talking about over feeding)


Add a lot of protein and increase her amount of food then watch the outcome. How many times do you feed her a day?

I feed her in the morning, then when i come back in the evening/night and meet empty bowel, i refill.
What i think i ought to do nw, is to increase the quantity of her food.

increase the quantity of her food and add more protein too with more exercise, you'll notice the difference
when she bulks up and starts adding muscle mass you'll see how much better she'll look.
the frequency of her feeding is okay too the only thing you should change is the quantity

Then i give her milk, soyamilk, cordliver oil and aegis booster like trice or twice a week.

what you're giving her is already okay from what you said now.
just increase the quantity of her food and she'll be fine.
and what I mean by exercise is that you should make sure she runs around or plays as much as she can. it mustn't always be formal walks for exercise.
