Ibime TBH I really will like to hear your opinion as to the build up thing. I defer to you guys up in here. But I just feel the punches you ended up landing after the build up didn't justify their length. Except perhaps toyin subair and extended family lines.

Nice spar from both dudes . . .

Picking a winner depends on what counts for you overall - I like DBR's directness - he came heavier with vile jabs that make you think of victims in horror flicks . . . He was dark n deep and I like his elevated vocab . . .

Ibime had a lot of imagery/"narratives" going for him there . . . Nice one. BTW, I stand to be corrected but I don't think he meant "Toy-in-sub-air" . . . Cos it won't make sense when read in conjunction with the rest of the verse . . . Plus "Toyin Subair" rhymes with the preceding rhyme "joke with me here" and not the sub-air thingy.

I agree DBR had more ish on the FFR thread though . . . But overall I'll go with him cos he was generally more direct - he came harder. Ibime came very close with a more rhythmical verse (looks good to flow on a beat) but I feel he focused more on rhyming than anything else.

I thot it was supposed to be an audio battle though . . .

Both played on words, but DBR's had more depth - overall, he scored the highest with his convoluted use of words . . . the double entendres thingy . . .

Maybe I was just judging by the frequency of the wordplays in both verses . . . On the real though, Ibime's verses also paraded several but they weren't as deep as DBR's. Gimme some more time as I'm still using ma fone - I need to settle down to read 'em verses again on ma lappy.

I love flawless multis more than the rest of you. So naturally, I fxcks with every Ibime verse.

When i first noticed the 'badly hidden subliminals' from Ibime to DBR, i didn't know it would lead to a battle of such Lyrical Wizadry. both of these guys should be arrested for dishing out 'Dope'. . .

So, DBR's verse was just another intellectual masterpiece, wordplays were like in every damn line, his punches packed a lot of hate.  i tried giving it a flow but it just didn't add. But, still. . .this is a text battle. And it's punches you can land that brings you victory.

Ibime has always remained Ibime, Multi-wizardry at its best. The whole thing flowed like the Nile. And this dude can be so funny. also had some nice wordplays and beautiful punches, but him no punch reach DBR although, he had a better verse.

I give this to DBR, on the fact that he landed more jabz, but it's only a slim victory. I feel if it was an Audio diss, Ibime would've won by country miles.
