bestdudes: I have been to many state in naija than u will ever been, worked in the east for over 7yrs and stay in PH for more than a year so not everyone u talk to anyhow I doubt apart from ur state and Lagos how many state av u been? You said Akwa Ibom road beat Lagos, did Akwa Ibom road received the kind of pressure Lagos state received, how many ppu are Akwa Ibom to cap it Lagos road are still one of the best in naija with the kind of truck that plight that road on hour basis, the same Akwa Ibom road u can boast of today was fix by Akpabio that is now been hated bcoz he join APC. Now this bring me to d point I raised in my earlier post is Akwa/Tinubu been hate bcus of his/their personality or bcus of their ideology? I don't like arguing on faceless forum like this bcus most naija judge base on emotions and not on a fair ground. Akpabio that turned Akwa Ibom to a modern state was been accused of been corrupt but the moment he joined APC his sin were forgiven if u can reference such a man how much more Tinubu. Get me right Tinubu is not a saint but that he is worst than any naija politicians is like reading Sidney Sheldon book "Honor among thieves" Why will a whole nation focus on one man and leave the men who stole their state to walk free without bringing their name to SM, is it only Tinubu that stole naija money. Why can't we focus on those who stole our collectives proceeds, when last did eastern ppu call out Orji Kali, when last did SS call out a politician from their region, when last did Hausa ppu call out those who make the region impoverished? When last did u call out Bode George, this is man who stole enough from NPA or bcus he is now in PDP he is no longer corrupt? While I stayed in Enugu till I left this February there is no much development apart from ogbete market wh is equivalent to market I. Ikorodu garage tell me where else is developed, is it Abakpa, Oguie road, New Haven, Achara, is not even a go area, keyeatta that seem to be busy area just got a good road as at December. Like Gej say no politicians in naija, that is worth fighting for, but in all I know very well posterity will judge if Tinubu is really worth the "Honour among thieves" 1 Like |

This writer deserves an award for this masterpiece am personally loving and getting really entertained the way everything is finally playing out. This clearly shows that there is no honor amongst theives, tinibu has no doubt lost out in this political chess game and should just continue to quietly lick his wounds in his closet with the looted billions he has accumulated he has no other choice. |

MetaPhysical:Look up or a few pages, someone clearly pointed out that you don't depend on such at this level. Tinubu think he is greedy or smarter, abi? He will see a fresh kind of greed slap differently when it is time. You think those in "prominent role" came to look at Tinubu's face abi? an here we go dey and you failed to even consider the fact that a lot of his allies, which the article here address, have had their wings clipped. |

I keep saying it, north will never want to willingly give power to the south. Only those who don't know history will think so. Buhari as gotten his second term, trust me, the north will most likely sink APC and move over to PDP to support their northern brother, Atiku. There allegience is not to a political party but to their greed and belly which they have perfected using their northern agenda. |

techmo:You have to realize that we are talking about politics here, where loyalty lasts only as far as personal interests and ambition. The people that you listed do not owe their present positions in the caretaker committee to Tinubu. To get the drift of my point, let me give some examples of "loyalists" and how their relationships turned out- Oshiomole and Obaseki, Amaechi and Wike, Orji Kalu and Theodore Orji, Atiku and El Rufai, Akpabio and Udom Emmanuel and many other examples. Check out their stories. |

techmo:I understand your stance bro and you have a point, but Tinubu here is the bigger picture not oshiomole. Oshio is Tinubu's best bet at the presidency. Power normally rests with the govs but in Oshio's case, the governors were no longer the power base. They couldnt come together and make a decision which oshiomole will accept. If you think Oshiomole made all those decisions without Tinubu's backing then you are mistaken. Rememver how tinubu removed Oyegun and installed Oshio. Truth is they have nobuse for the jagaban anymore and next is to decimate his influence in the south west and Lagos. Aregbesola comes to mind. They are gradually pitting him against his proteges. Awolowo and Abiola rings a bell right? Tinubu will follow suit. When you are dealing with Fulanis, you need to be careful. |

anigbajumo: The writings are all over the wall, but since you refuse to see it, just wait till 2023 when he's chased out of a house he built, APC. He'll definitely seek his ticket elsewhere because he can NEVER get it in APC. People like you should keep deceiving him. |

Is Farooq this dumb? Tinubu will even come out stronger with a new congress than he ever was. He's lost nothing and gained everything. Because the party was sinking and needed rescue which Buhari just did as the Leader of the party. When it's time for 2023 politicking, all your prophets of dooms will hide their faces. We knew what Kperogi's positions and predictions were before 2015 and 2019 elections, is he ever ashamed of his continuous failed predictions? He should keep quiet already. The more he hates, the more Tinubu make waves. If he's got enough political knowledge, he should leave Atlanta to come test his popularity, acceptability and knowledge in the next election also. I knew and have always said it on this forum that Tinubu would not end well. He is a terrible student of history and it seems he never learnt from those before him. No one goes into an alliance with these northerners without ending up with a bloodied nose. But his avarice will not let him reason. Now the chickens have come home to roost. |

Tinubu had no choice in 2015 than to support Buhari and as Farooq said, Tinubu knew and had to do what he did at the time and should still have some left up his sleeves. This is not Tinubu's problem but Yoruba's, they chose not to support their own only son at the center with the chance of bringing the bacon home. Yoruba are divided and will remain slaves for a very long time because world powers only help you if you start the noise and fight. By the time Yoruba wake up, there won't be any point waking up, everything would have be over. Ibese and other towns around it for example would have turned to fulani settlement. The dust from the cement factory will give many lung cancer and Dangotes will offer money to people to move away from their homes and land and even promise them that they will come back when they resolve the low visibility due to smoke and lung problems. It all sounds like it can never happen right now because there are no history books to learn from and Yoruba have no foresight or may be the slave mentality is overwhelming. Tinubu has done his best and the reason "north" does not treat him with respect is they know that he does not have the respect of his people and Yoruba are divided and a house divided can not stand. Didn't Atiku get close to 65% of Yoruba votes when their own son and the in-law to Awolowo was on the ballot? This is one thing I like about the Igbos, fulani and Hausa, they can fight to death but will come together for their homeland. Yoruba don't have sense of patriotism and don't care about their land or the next generations, people like this will be destroyed without firing a shot. When Yoruba finally succeed in removing Tinubu, their only son's hand from the plate, they can then stand outside and watch inside from the window as Nigeria share Yoruba's inheritance on top of other's. No other Yoruba has the political clout Tinubu has as bad as things are for him and no one can build it in 10 years and that's if Yoruba have 10 years. This means Yoruba will be relegated again. Since I don't know it all, there may be plans for Yoruba to start asking for the world to help with regional govt which is the easiest thing since they are not asking for outright secession. It should be about telling the world to help free the land from slavery and occupation, it will be embarrassing at first that Yoruba of all people are the ones begging to be freed but we have no choice. I blame all Yoruba for what a few like the man who' wants Buhari to stop Amonteku because if people like that after running their mouths as traitors can't drive down the street without getting a stone to the windshields and their children can't walk down the streets without being harrassed, they will stop being traitors. But we allow them to go and sell Yorubaland and come back home and sleep. Yorubaland is almost gone but still salvageable right now if we try, tomorrow may be too late! |
