I like quarrel simply for laying out the truth of what it is that ails many of those with no sense of self-control? undecided

It is no longer a hidden secret that a lack of self-control is in fact a symptom of mental problem and like many problems there are treatments available to those who are at least willing to face the reality of their condition.

That said, Lust is a learned reaction to stimulus and like anything learned, it can be unlearned or even controlled.

I think you contradict yourself by the bolded, because you can't use your assumptions to conclude that an assumption was wrong.

The explanation you got from Google didn't even help but further complicated matters, because it's doesn't make any real sense...

The saying of John agrees with my position that some sayings of Jesus as that one concerning lust were meant to make men perfect as God was and made man to be in the beginning. Not that such would lead man to hell.

For instance, if Adam and Even had just lusted after the forbidden fruit in their hearts but not eaten of it in the beginning, do you think they would have perished as God said they would if they had eaten of it?

Of course the lust in their hearts led them to eat it, but what if they had stopped at lusting after it in their hearts and not eaten of it, would they have sinned unto death?

It's obvious what the answer is, and i believe that's the standard God sent Jesus to bring back to mankind, hence that saying, but not that lust in one's heart would lead man to hell even if it doesn't proceed out of the heart as fornication, adultery etc.

God bless.

I don't play with sin and I don't encourage people to do so. Flee from temptation. Flee from youthful lust. Don't try to see how close u can come to sin without touching it. Satan is a master deceiver.

I get your point. I'm a spiritual perfectionist so I am not settling for lusting, even just that of the heart.

That's the essence of this post, to make people not settle for such as well, that's why I said it's a sin and you can see that many are not taking it lightly.

However the Truth is that lust of the heart alone is not a sin unto death. That's my point.

Thanks and God bless.

We are all learning. So I'll like u to list some sins that are unto death and those that are not. Because for now, I understand "sin unto death" to mean any sin that was not confessed and repented from b4 death came. Bible interpretation can be tough sometimes.

Because they are losers who have nothing going for them on global scale. Religion absolves them of responsibilities. Thus they can gleefully wallow in lack of productivity. It is not a coincidence that black nations are the headquarters of poverty. Their brains are for cosmetics only.

I strongly disagree that blacks aren't productive.

yes some can be overboard with religion but blacks are productive.
