The Scriptures That Clearly Describe Rapture; Come See. by Incrizz(f): 11:31pm On Dec 31, 2020
This is the verse referenced for rapture in the Bible:

Mathew 24:

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

But check verses 37 and 39 of that same Mathew 24.
The rapture described in verses 40-41 was caused by verses 37 and 39.

Mathew 24:

"36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

The rapture in verses 40 & 41 is caused by the COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.
When JESUS comes back a second time, rapture shall happen
Without the appearance of JESUS, there can be no rapture!

That is not all.
See 1 Thessalonians 4:16,
1 Thessalonians 4:16
"16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

You see?
JESUS descends from Heaven and then rapture happens. Not before!!!
Without JESUS' apperance, there can be no rapture!

The tribulation is what will cause the love of many, who aren't watching to wax cold.

Revelation 3:10,
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I will also keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell in the earth.

We shall all be tested!

Pass your test!

We get raptured when Christ appears. We get caught up with Him in the air (for those of us still alive by then).

Since from the Bible, we get caught up, or vanish, when we get caught up with Him in the air, it then means that if JESUS doesn't show up, there CANNOT be a "rapturing"!

HIS second coming is what causes rapture to happen.

Everytime The Scripture refers to rapture, it is ALWAYS in connection with the appearance of JESUS!
The Second coming of CHRIST JESUS and the rapture are one and same event.

Do not let anyone bewitch you

Side note:
The rapture will not happen till after the tribulation as stated clearly in verse 3 below:

2 Thess 2:1-3

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Yes. Sometimes.

With THE LORD a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years, likes day.

2 Peter 3:3-9 MSG
3-4 First off, you need to know that in the last days, mockers are going to have a heyday. Reducing everything to the level of their puny feelings, they’ll mock, “So what’s happened to the promise of his Coming? Our ancestors are dead and buried, and everything’s going on just as it has from the first day of creation. Nothing’s changed.”

5-7 They conveniently forget that long ago all the galaxies and this very planet were brought into existence out of watery chaos by God’s word. Then God’s word brought the chaos back in a flood that destroyed the world. The current galaxies and earth are fuel for the final fire. God is poised, ready to speak his word again, ready to give the signal for the judgment and destruction of the desecrating skeptics.

The Day the Sky Will Collapse
8-9 Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change

You know there are 3 theories about the rapture . And each one of them have scriptures people use to back them up. I grew with the understanding of rapture before tribulation. So you really have answer me questions for saying otherwise

Upon the Bible messages clearly stated here, some people will still come to argue blindly even against what Jesus said in Matthew 24:31....

No second coming,No rapture as clearly stated, and this will happen only after the tribulation of the church as clearly stated by the Lord Jesus Christ, St Paul and John the Beloved.

After the rapture, The wrath of God falls on the Antichrist and everyone who takes the mark of the beast and worships him.

However many of us will be in the clouds with the Lord Jesus with our trumpets of victory and defeat of the Antichrist, who taught he defeated the saints by persecuting them and those who refused the mark...

We would be surprised many will make rapture, even Muslims, Buddhist, and other false religion when they see the faith of the church and the wonders they do in those days, and would renounce their wrong faith and proclaim for Jesus and prefer to be his matyr.

The ways of God are past finding out.

I strongly believe the rapture is before the Great Tribulation, (Pre-tribulation Rapture) and after which is the second coming of Jesus.

In the Rapture, Jesus will appear but remain in the sky and only the prepared saints will see him. After the Antichrist has accomplished to mark the whole world, all eyes on Earth will see him, he will come down to earth and begin his millennial reign with the saints. This is the Second coming of Jesus.

The saints of Rapture are the faithful believers who are watching and praying or living a righteous life without compromise, repenting daily.
The saints of the tribulation are the lukewarm/slumbering/careless believers, and unbelievers who will have a great awakening in the event of the rapture/arrival of the Antichrist system. They will repent and seek for eternal life and refuse the mark which will cost them their life.

After the great tribulation is accomplished, Jesus will come with the raptured saints from heaven on horses in the great battle of Armaggedon. Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:14. (faithful).
After victory, those who died in refusal of the mark will be resurrected to life to reign with Jesus for 1000 years and eternity. This you can read in Revelation 20:4-5

The parable of the Wise and Foolish virgins in Matthew 25 is indicating the Prepared virgins/Saints and the unprepared/left behind virgins.

There will be no eating and drinking/drunkenness/overcharged surfeiting of the saints in a Post-tribulation rapture where they can neither buy nor sell. This can only occur in a Pre-tribulation rapture scenario.

Likewise, the saints won't be in fields grinding in a Post-tribulation rapture because the Antichrist will be searching for them and those who take the Mark will be seeking them like Hunter bounty.
This "one taken away and other left" is only applicable to Pre-tribulation rapture

There is a difference between "tribulation" and "the great tribulation".

Hi.
That was Scriptures I quoted for you.

The ONE under whose Heavens you live, The ONE who formed the shape of your body says HE will return.
HE will.

Scripture says no one should say that the day of The LORD should come quickly so that we might see it because it is going to be a day of blood and destruction.

Hell was made for the devil and his angels, not for us humans. But the devil has sworn that he will not go down alone, and he went after GOD's the creation; man.

But GOD has provided protection for us which is belief in JESUS. That's all. Believing that JESUS died for you on the cross, confessing your sin and asking for forgiveness. No work done on your part. Just belief.

Your anger should be against the devil not GOD.

God can forgive you all your sins if you turn to Him in repentance.

Why not confess your sins to Him today and be forgiven?

*. 1 John 1: 9 "KJV:If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

I think mrPPrevailer has done justice to the topic.

The 2nd coming of Christ has 2 phases:

the rapture and the stepping His feet on Mount Olives.

THE RAPTURE: 2 Thessalonians 4:16; Matthew 24:34-44

IT CHARACTERISTICS:

-Trumpets sounds,
-only to be heard by ready souls,
-the dead in Christ will resurrect 1st,
- those who are alive and remain ( in the faith/Christ) will join them,

-these ones will enjoy the marriage supper with the Lord... from there they ( Christ and the saints) will start coming to the earth...

...
THE STEPPING HIS FEET ON MOUNT OLIVES: revelation 20:1-15;

"... as the lightning flashing from the East and it's seen in the west, so shall the coming of the son of Man be". Matthew 24:27

The system/means He used to ascend to heaven He'll use to come back to the earth.

*. Acts 1:9 "
KJV:And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10
KJV:And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11
KJV:Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

ITS CHARACTERISTICS:

- unlike the phase 1, He does not come as thief

- all eyes shall see Him as He's descending

- the anti-christ will organise his armies to stop Him/them from landing ( this is called the war of Armageddon) Revelation 16:10-16

- He/they will take the rulership from the anti-christ
- all who did not receive the market of the Beast will join them

- those who died from torture during the great tribulation (they refuse to receive the market), they will be resurrected

- He/they(the saints) will reign for 1000 years
and sinners who are still alive will witness the reign

- the devil will be released from his prison and he'll organise the last war ( the war of Gog and Magog) revelation 20: 7-8

- then, the resurrection of all dead sinners of all generations

- the great white throne judgement and
- finally, the new heaven and the new earth

#. The Lord called what we are facing now as "the beginning of sorrow"

He said we should not be afraid. As for the GREAT TRIBULATION, rapture -ready saints will escape it. Matthew 24:4 -14

you got Matthew 24 wrong, it wasn't talking about rapture it was talking about what will happen when Jesus will come and die for the sins of man as prophesied by Daniel.

Remember the Jews were waiting for the coming of the Messiah because they were in bondage of Roman empire at that time, and Daniel in the old testament prophesied how he was going to come.

Every signs Jesus told his disciples in that Matthew 24 was already happening there in their presence and they all saw it. The Pharisees saw it too but they didn't believe. That's why he said that generation will not pass away until all those signs happen.
Think about it this way, you will understand.
The whole of that Matthew 24 is like, Jesus was quoting a written script about the coming of the Messiah(himself) to his disciples which they have read before that the period of the coming the Messiah, two will be grinding, one will be taken and the other left.
That thing isn't rapture, it signifies that one will be taken to become Jesus disciple while the other will not be Jesus disciple.
This is how Jesus choosed his disciples : For instance, Jesus told Peter follow me and he followed him straight away. That means Peter was taken, but his father was left behind fishing you remember.
All these things happened within that period, and that's what Jesus was saying, not any rapture.

I believe in the pretribulation rapture, the reason is that the seven years of the anti christ is not for the church, it has nothing to do with the fear of persecution as many of us Christian are suffering persecution even to the point of death but the word of God has to take preeminence.
Remain blessed

But you are mixing two things up: The Rapture and the second coming of Christ. These two events are the two phases of the Second Advent which are separated by the seven years of the great tribulation. According to 2Thessalonians 2:7,8 the Holy Spirit's restraining ministry in the Church will have to be taken away before the antichrist will be revealed therefore the Church will be take away before the revelation of the antichrist, the main figure of the great tribulation.

Moreover, the Church, the Bride of Christ will not partake of the wrath of God in the great tribulation Revelation 3:10, 2Peter 2:9, 1Thessalonians 1:10.

The Ongoing Interactive Hustling between The Bishop of Sokoto Kukah and The Sultan of Sokoto Saad Abubakar is a good example of a preeminent pretribulation.

The Holy Spirit is watching the two and Buhari.

Wow, you actually understand the full picture. One big event which a whole lot happening at the same time.
You're so blessed...

I believe in the pretribulation rapture, the reason is that the seven years of the anti christ is not for the church, it has nothing to do with the fear of persecution as many of us Christian are suffering persecution even to the point of death but the word of God has to take preeminence.
Remain blessed

I believe they would have to pass through tribulation which is the gnashing of teeth there bible does not state if there will be any hope for them.

I am coming soon.

Does SOON mean over 2000 years?
It mean whatever or however long the Lord determines. Remember He created time but I'd not bound by time. There's no time in heaven. So, soon can be millions of years.

Keep deceiving yourself with excuses
What excuses? Are scriptures excuses? Excuses to do what? Stay away from sin, love all others regardless of who they are or what they have done?
Forgiving the offenders, giving to the needy and waiting for the appearing for the Lord?
What is the excuse pls?

What you have said doesn't hold water and of course, religion is against critical thinking so I am not surprised.

So agree with your submission here, but let me add that;
1. The great battle of Armageddon will be fought after the 1000 millinial reign of the Lord. because, during His reign, satan, the beast and his demons will be bound and chained in the Bottomless pit. His human agents who have received the mark shall live to see the saints enjoy their kingdom as it was meant to be before the fall, but wont be able to enjoy thus.

2. There will no resurrection of the left behind saints who resisted the mark and paid with their blood until after the 1000 yrs of the Lord's reign on earth.

During the 1000 yrs period. Satan and his son the Antichrist will be in the Bottomless pit stewing.

The saints will resurrect together with every soul who had ever come to this earth.

And that will be after satan, and the beast have been released and then they will go to every part of the earth to galvanise their soldiers, [b]the Obama's and Bill Gates, the Gorge Soros, the prophet Muhammads, the Adolf Hitlers, the Frederick Nitsches, the Stalin's, the Maos< all the homosexuals and homosexualists, lesbiands, switches and wizards, transgenders, Pedophiles, Astrologers, Necromancers, Sorcerers, Rebellious and lawless criminals, every wicked man and woman all them Democrats who volunteers and do evil to other human beings for satan, they will be roused to fight against the Lord, and the saints, but, they won't be my war, for the Lord shall destroy them at once with the sword which shall proceed out of his mouth.
After this, then there shall be a general resurrection after which follows the White Throne Judgement.
And the scriptures you quoted says it.

I largely agree with you.
