Uncommon Scriptures That Support Trinity. by Originakalokalo(m): 7:52pm On Mar 11, 2019
Muslims get it confused when we talk about Trinity.

Let's see how we connect Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit using three unpopular verses of the Bible....

1.

" Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
(2 Corinthians 3: 17)

Did you see that?

The LORD is that SPIRIT..... where the Spirit of the Lord (who himself is the Lord) is, there is liberty...

Who is this Lord .....that also happens to be the Spirit?

2. Jesus was speaking in the book of revelation and said... "He who has an ear let him hear what the SPIRIT SAYS"

Ha. Jesus was speaking... and he is saying that we should listen to what the spirit is saying?...

So, with these two verses, we can say that Jesus is the Spirit.....

3. Mathew 10 verse 19-20....let me take a part... "but the spirit of your father who speaks in you. "

Jesus is the Spirit....we have established that... Now from the third scripture.... we see the expression " the Spirit of the Father,"... We know that the spirit is the Spirit of God...

4. See this one.... " And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."
(Galatians 4: 6)

The Spirit of his son into our hearts.... That's the Holy Spirit isn't it?

Again, let's update our conclusion...

Jesus is the Spirit.... He is the Spirit of the Father..... The Spirit is the Spirit of the son..... (this is why muslims get confused about this concept)...

We can conclude in one sentence from our updated conclusion that The Holy Spirit is the Spirit version of Jesus(who is flesh)

Still in doubt? This will settle your doubt once and for all...

John 14 verse 18.... Jesus was promising the Holy Spirit as a comforter he said....

"I will not leave you comfortless I WILL COME TO YOU "

Done and dusted.

How do we connect God?

Jesus said.... If a man loves me, he will keep my words... and my father will love him.... AND WE will come to him...

...and make OUR abode with him....

Jesus was speaking on behalf of the Father and the Holy Spirit as WE.....but he started by promising the Holy Spirit...

Let's take a conclusion from this new development...

1.Jesus promised the Holy Spirit as a comforter.

2. He then said he will come as the comforter.

3. He then said... we will come and live in you.

It. Means, the Holy Spirit comes to a child of God, and in him,

THE FATHER AND THE SON ARE EQUALLY PRESENT AS WELL.

No wonder the Holy Spirit spoke as God in the book of act... Jesus spoke as God... The Father himself is God.

Peter told Ananias, you have not lied to man.... but to God... after he said.. "why have you chosen to lie to the Holy Spirit "

Yet, at Baptism,

The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus and the Father spoke from heaven..

The three of them were present there... In unity.

They are three different personalities but One.

Muslims are not the ones who get confused about trinity; every person possessing the least bit of rationality does.
I don't see how does verses you provided endorses the trinity concept.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.

Jesus is the Holy Spirit. (the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT)

The Holy Spirit is God. Jesus is God. The father is God.

If you have the Holy Spirit, you have Jesus and God the Father.
these are found in those verses.

The Father sent the son who is IN HIM (in the Father) ....thus the Father is greater than the son.....

the son prayed the Father to send the Holy Spirit in his place on earth...

even though the Father himself had promised to give the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament

The Son sent the Holy Spirit who is the spirit of both the son and the Father. ....

The son is greater than the Holy Spirit....but anywhere you see one, the three are there....

Jesus said.... I will send the Holy Spirit.... He then said.... I will come to you, he went further and said... We will come to you.

Jesus said.... Lo, I am with you even to the end of the world.... But Jesus ascended and sits at the right hand of God...

We know that it is the Holy Spirit that's with us... But Jesus said... I am with you....

This is it... Jesus is in the Father.... Jesus said... I am in the Father and the Father is in me... But we know that it is the Holy Spirit that is in Jesus...

It means when Jesus stands, he has the Holy Spirit of God in him and thus, he has the Father in him.

Talk about the Egg. It is one... But it has three components....

The egg is the Godhead. Embodiment.

The shell is the son.... Physical can be touched.

The white is the Holy Spirit.... He is in touch with both the son and the Father who is the egg yoke.

Just One egg. There is only one God.

There is a man. But man has soul, spirit and body.

Body is physical...can be touched... Jesus is physical.

Spirit of man.... Is a spirit, Holy Spirit is spirit.

The big and serious question is,

Which God are you sticking with?

Jesus said that NO ONE comes to THE FATHER (YAHWEH) EXCEPT THROUGH HIM.

note the words in uppercase.

It means no one worships the God of Israel without passing through Jesus.

I ask you again,

Which God are you sticking to?

I am sticking with the One who Inspired Abraham and his sons, the One that Inspired Moses, David, Solomon, Zarathustra, Isaiah. The One that inspired Jesus the Son of Mary. The One that sent Enoch walked with. I am sticking with The One that inspired a Hundred and and Forty four Prophets. The One that inspired Muhammad, the last of them all. That's the One I am sticking with.

You can take a camel to the river but you can't force it to drink.

You can't force the Truth into someone bent on rejecting it. The Holy Spirit reveals Himself to those who are humble enough to accept Him no matter their level of knowledge.

Their are 3 types of people in this world,
1. Those who are truly seeking to know and live the Truth
2. Those who are seeking to know the Truth only to boost their ego
3. Those who don't care about the Truth (both to know and to live)

The first category of people may include the worst of humans in the world such as mass murderers but if they are truly seeking to know and live the Truth, then the Spirit of Truth will reveal Himself to them despite the level they've gone in their sinful nature.

The second category of people may include pastors or professors in theology, but they can never comprehend the Truth no matter how you explain it to them except if they are willing to humble themselves and allow the Spirit of God work Himself in them.

The Holy Spirit is no less than Angel Gabriel nah. With all your knowledge of the Bible, it is a Muslim that will point this out to you? Read:
Luke 1:19 KJV
[19] And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

Luke 1:26 KJV
[26] And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

Matthew 1:18 KJV
[18] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:20 KJV
[20] But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

You see, Luke said Angel Gabriel, Mathew says Holy Ghost. Can't you see that they are synonyms? Can be used interchangeably? In the Quran, it is calle Rouh Qudus. Meaning the Holy Spirit. The Jews read it in scriptures to but never attach other meanings to it. What David prayed for, is simply constant message from His Lord: Messages!

The beauty of the Horizon can not be gleaned from a Keyhole, nor a Window no matter how wide it is, you really want to be amazed by the Horizon in its entirety, you need to come out in the open. Before the Jews were inspired with a Message, people in the ancient worshipped the True God. Find time to get their perspective on Faith and not be narrowed into if it is not from the House of Israel it is fake. The Magis that came to the Crib of Baby Jesus were looking for something. Seek and ye shall find.

The Holy Spirit overshadowed marry and Jesus was formed.

Where is it stated here that the Holy Spirit is an angel?

Angels are messengers who declared what the Holy Spirit was about to do...

Jesus told the Pharisee,

"I cast out demons by the Spirit of God"

By the Holy Spirit...... Not by angels...

We baptise in the name of the Father and the son and the Holy Spirit.

Not angels.

Angels are messengers and high ranking Christians will judge them...

We cannot judge the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning, the Spirit of God was on the waters and God said..... LET US CREATE MAN IN OUR IMAGE.

JESUS SAID..... THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD is UPON ME and has ANOITED me to preach....

Angels cannot come and annoit Jesus for his service... It is a taboo.

See John 14 verse 17.

the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

He LIVES in you.... That's continuous.

will be with you.... always.

At the bold, the world can't accept him, neither see him nor know him, yet I know him for he lives with me and will be be with me? All that is simply a legacy of the Greeks who sought to rationalize everything. What you put up there doesn't make any sense.

Jesus refers to the unbelievers as THE WORLD.

I am not of the world. The world does not know the Holy Spirit because they don't see him... To the world, SEEING IS BELIEVING.

i know the Holy Spirit and I feel his presence. To me, BELIEVING IS SEEING AND KNOWING.

that's the difference between the world and me.

The Holy Spirit does so much. He comforts and teach us all things... He reminds us of Jesus teachings..

He empowers for miracles, signs and wonders.

He is responsible for casting out of demons... He is the Spirit of the prophets. All these are there in the Bible.

7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because they believe not on me;
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you

In other places, it saysJohn 14:16 KJV
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Here it says ANOTHER COMFORTER. Does it mean there are MANY?

Read again:

John 16:7 KJV
[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

So, the coming of this Comforter/Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost is predicated on Jesus GOING AWAY. Abi? Now explain this to me.
Luke 1:15 KJV
[15] For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. " That was John The Baptist, right from his Mum womb, he gat the Holy Ghost"

Luke 1:67 KJV
[67] And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, " that was Zachariah, John The Baptist Father, filled with the Holy Ghost/Spirit"
Luke 2:25 KJV
[25] And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. " Simeon, just and devout, the Holy Ghost/Spirit was upon him even before Christ could utter Papa"

John 20:21-23 KJV
[21] Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
[22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them , and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
[23] Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Here again, Jesus BREATHED on them and saith Unto them RECEIVE YE THE HOLY GHOST. And I ask again, has he forgotten that, they can't receive such if he is still around?

My friend, the Holy Spirit/Ghost only grew in the telling. The Spirit of God has always been with the World from time immemorial. Paint it anyhow you want, garnish it, embellish it is not what came upon the Disciples at the Pentecost but rather a fulfillment of what Prophet Joel prophesied.

Read:

Acts 2:16-17 KJV
[16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Shaloam Alaikum! Just as Jesus said it in Luke 24:36 KJV
[36] And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

[16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Another comforter in that context means that Jesus was being specific about the the Holy Spirit..... When he was speaking these words himself,

He was comforting his disciple who were wary of his going away....

So, as a comforter himself, he was promising another comforter, who is the Holy Spirit.

John was filled with the Holy Spirit. It was not a universal thing.

Breathe on the disciple to receive the Holy Spirit and he asked them to wait in Jerusalem to be FILLED and consequently have power.

Now, after the Pentecost, being filled with the Holy Spirit is a universal thing and billions of people have had access to the Holy Spirit of God.

Tell me about the Quran. We have been talking about the Bible since....

Do you have a promise of eternity there?

Who promised you this?

Another Comforter simply means this one will be different. Of the same stock but different in Job Function/Mandate. The Pentecost is what Joel prophesied. Are you saying you know more of Scriptures than people who sat with the Master himself? Read again

Acts 2:14-17 KJV
[14] But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
[15] For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
[16] But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Billions have access to Holy Spirit of God yet Sexual Immorality, Drugs, Mammon worship, Love of self, Avarice, Covetousness, Greed and lack of Faith bedevil the World? Believers and unbelievers alike?
