@me
I fully support the writer. If Pst Adefarasin belonged to another vocation other than pastor I will not have issues with his plan B advice. But he is a pastor. A man that people run to when they are hopeless.

As a notable pastor his words are weighty. A single word that comes out of his mouth can make someone you had planned suicide to drop it.

By the grace of God I'm a pastor in one of the large churches around. At the heat of the pandemic in 2020 we were warned that our messages should be focused on hope and salvation.

Recently the Holy Spirit has been directing me along the same line because of the despair in the land. I'm presently running a series on GOD KNOWS - when, how, why, don't quit.

This is what is expected of us. Of course what will you expect from a feel-good pastor
.
What part of your series has to do with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God that Jesus Christ sent everyone of His followers out to teach, just as He taught it to them? undecided

How do you suppose yourself any better than Adefarasin who teaches his own ideas/doctrines and traditions/commandments of men, all of which Jesus Christ warned were nothing but lies which only serve to neutralize the Power of the Word of God in the minds and lives of those who teach and follow them, rendering even their worship of God meaningless where God is concerned? undecided

How can you openly declare that the Spirit of God gives you directions to teach material that is antichrist in origin? undecided

What is expected of everyone who belongs to Jesus Christ is the same and that is to teach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God just as Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom gave it to us... we are neither to add to or remove from the Law of God. undecided

Even God sent angel to tell Joseph to run away with Jesus before the king kill them
Does that mean God do not have the power to kill the king?

The black race has been blindfolded by religion in a physical combat, faith cannot do what your brain and hand can do

Even white people that brought religion also produce bulletproof, so what's wrong with you black people
We are not yet in war or total chaos. The areas of violence in Nigeria, is less than 20% of our population, not yet time to sound that alarm. Reeks of fear.

He is a man of religion, that is what he represent.

Until we believe we can build a better nation. We will all run away from our opportunities. While we sre running away from the country. Lebanese are seeing opportunities, they are taking over our construction, and mega stores businesses. Incase you are still sleeping take a stroll around our major cities and see for yourself. I have no plan be and i will make it here
Don't mind them, Lebanese, Asians are coming in to run things, cowards are running away from their ancestral lands...this is the only place you can truly call home.

of what use is the money when you can't enjoy it? Come to think of it, Nigeria doesn't even have enough activities, things to really enjoy the so called money you are talking about..
Abroad is even more boring, unless you are at a level of the food chain, na routine life you go live there.

Truth is not opinion, and is therefore universal.

.
What truth led Adefarati to arrive at his conclusion. The scale of violence is not widespread, about 90% of our geographical space is free, and safe.

Nigeria is not in war yet? really?
so what are we into?
Economically Nigeria is at war
Bad leadership, Nigeria is at war
Physically Nigeria is at war
In every angle, Nigeria is at war

It depends on your own definition of war anyway

LOOK AROUND YOU BROS HOW MANY GOOD PEOPLE DOES THE SYSTEM ALLOW TO INFLUENCE OR CHANGE THE SYSTEM. THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA IS THAT ITS NOT INTRESTED IN MAKING USE OF ITS HUMAN CAPITAL TO CHANGE ITS FOURTUNE THE LEADERS ARE FINE WITH THINGS AS THEY ARE AS IT GIVES THEM OPPOURTUNITY TO ENRICH THEMSELVES WITHOUT BEING CHALLENGED. NIGERIA AS A COUNTRY HAS NEVER PLACED IMPORTANCE OR VALUED HUMAN CAPITAL SO RATHER THAN WASTE IT ITS BEST YOU TAKE YOUR TRADE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY THAT WOULD MAKE US EOF IT.
duni04:

Bro its a vicious cycle. The people who with their ingenuity and foreign education, are supossed ro fix the country, are the ones that are leaving enmass! Who then do we expect to fix the country? Angels? Of course its the thugs and miscreants that we're leaving behind. I'm not saying i wouldn't leave if i had the chance but I'm convinced that this cycle will break the moment the educated and enlightened people in the country say enough is enough and decide to be selfless and forgo life's pleasures and stay back and fix the country.
The reason we have a clueless person like Buhari in charge is because the more enlightened people have decided to step back, run away and enjoy life more. Evil thrives when the good people stand by and do nothing, in Nigeria's case its Evil thrives when the good and educated run to Canada and the UK. Nigeria will never be built by thugs and miscreants or clueless people like Buhari.

Let's stop being frugal with perspectives on the current state of affairs.
With the middle belt under siege, the NE in turmoil for years. There's banditry and kidnapping spillage into the SW and.... the SE is having to fight the little fires... Your claim doesn't hold water.

90% of geographical space is not where 90% of
the population inhabit. ...... The core North makes for a lot of empty uninhabited land space and would fulfill the geographical space as per your claim.... But that doesn't represent the growing infernos of social disorder.

It is insurgency, they attack and hide, I don't see any group controlling any inch of our space, but yes areas of North East and South East are witnessing insurgency attacks. Y'all stop exaggerating, or stop being so scared. During world war Britons were conscripted to fight for the land they call home, and they galvanized and won, I did not see British citizens leaving their country, even when Nazi jets were in the air. The fear and exodus of mass Nigerians in itself, will spell doom, as investors too will follow the lead. I hate cowards.

For your information i don't belong to any of the two major religions, get that into your empty skull if you don't know that your country is at war with herself
When people with wisdom and understanding talk, children like you should be quiet and lean

Again, the man's net worth is stated to be at about $50 million dollars yet you still dey yarn this? undecided

You know what, go take up that discussion of yours with Forbes magazine abeg! undecided

Stated by who? Again, please where are the assets? He’s worth $50 million dollars and he’s yet to finish building his own house? Please don’t just swallow all information you see on the news media, the fact that I can tell you that he’s just building his house should suggest to you that I am privy to real insider information and not all these hogwash that litters the internet.

I agree with the writer.

Can everyone have a plan B? No!

What therefore becomes of those who can't afford plan B? They are doomed to perish abi!

Common! I don't agree with Pastor Adefarasin on that... I understand he was talking to his congregation but even at that no all his church members can afford that plan B...

Can all of us run away from Nigeria? Is that even possible?
