I really apologize because I was one of those that was even defending the school, believing it's not possible for such bullying,initiation to cultism could be happening,not just at kids at that age,but a private elitist school at that.
I was even doubting the authenticity of the whole story because I failed to believe, naively,the possibility of kids from well to do homes,in a school that should do anything to prevent such, allowing it.

When I was working as a private maths lesson teacher at lekki and it environs, I had the opportunity to meet lots of rich parents and kids. I didn't like what I saw. The home training is pretty low, almost at ground level.

They insult the maids, gatemen, cooks, they have zero respect. Most times they do this in front of their patients and the apex punishment will be "Junior, I'll report you to your teacher"

That's not true. I'm a psychologist.
If you're a parent u will know ur child more than anyone else. Even if he spent 7 years abroad, a week with him is enough for his parents to discover new bad acquired habits and behaviours. And the parents can start working toward correcting that behaviours, if it's not working, parents can change their child's school. If the child refused to change after several attempts, then allow the child to face the consequences of his/her actions (for once). Experience is the best teacher.

Women are the greatest trouble to women, go through the comments and see it's all women with the drag. That woman is going through a lot already for what she knows little about, that child already have a mind of it's own an# it's little the mum can do about it. Just like a celebrity rightly said, there is no manual for training a child.
