If you know the amount soldiers are collecting monthly, you won't blame them for collecting bribe.

Compared to other government agencies the military and paramilitary are one of the best paid in Nigeeia. This is not an escuse , they knew how much they are to be paid before enrolling into the force

Though they need more motivation in form of increase in remuneration and other allowances.

These guys make millions of naira monthly from this appalling act. It is now a culture for military and paramilitary organization to extort those whose taxes are used to pay them.

Only state policing can help to curtail this manace that is antithetical to the development of our society.

That crying officer has been extorting for decades and only crying because his retirement is around the corner. The only way to set a precedence is to show him the way out so that others can learn.

This is what is happening on daily basis on our roads. Travel from Rivers State to Abia State you will see them,they even employ some boys to do the job.
