For your dark knuckles, I think you may have to stop the harsh cream you are using and that's if you haven't already stopped it. Your skin needs to heal before you start another therapy of skincare lightening/whitening.

You should consider getting skin peels with glycolic acid or lactic acid for this procedure or if not, you may want to consider purchasing an exfoliant with these ingredients (glycolic or lactic acid) to scrub off the dead cells on your knuckles and skin. The exfoliant is an alternative to the peels if you can't stand your skin peeling. Use "Vaseline blue seal" for your hands while exfoliating, their appearances will improve. It will help your hyperpigmentation.

You can as well get the "Anivat dark corrector" for your knuckles.

Please, I'll advise you to let your skin heal before you consider whitening of any sort.

Get the CeraVe SA smoothing cream for your dry skin. It should help with revitalizing your dry skin.

Also, get the Sebamed Olive Cleansing Bar alongside. It helps correct dry skin problems.

NB; You will have to stop that whitening cream you are using. Let your skin heal. I know it will be hard but you need to let your skin heal overall first then we can talk about your safe "skin toning" journey.

I'm not in Software Engineering, so I don't code.

No, there's no coding. However, to set yourself apart from the average UX designer, I'll advise that you learn basic coding like HTML and CSS just as I was as well advised to. All the same, it's not compulsory.

For example, a friend forwarded an entry level UI/UX designer job advert to me earlier today. Perks includes knowing basic HTML and CSS. 1200$ per M. Fully remote. So, you see?

Two days a week and 2 hours or more for each day.

Based on what you suggested then, stopped the cream I was using then and switched to scrubbing alone. (Asantee scrub). My skin got darker after then anyway.
