I just got admission into university but I still have to ask cos when I get ready for the course you probably wouldn't be active on NL.
UyaiIncomparabl, Do you have an idea on how much the software engineering course would cost?
Do you think there are as much Software engineering jobs as there are for UI/UX design?
Is there a place to get SE job adverts like the example you gave of that $1200 job on Ui.
I already know Basic Html and CSS but I am not really a fan of anything that has to do with designing. I love programming more.
If I cannot rely on the job placements Stutern offers then where else do I get value for my tuition fees?
Cos Its possible to get education of nearly the same value elsewhere and it would be cheaper or even free. I guess you have a place you get job adverts so you dont rely on Stutern job placements either.

Hi, not a programmer but just wanted to share my thoughts...

there are many free course and materials online which you can use for self study (YouTube, mdn web docs, the Odin projects and many more). However, self study sometimes can be frustrating as you get easily distracted and sometimes get lost in the seas of free resources. This is where the benefits of a program like Stutern is, you get a structured and accelerated learning from experienced hands.

Also, there are plenty of swe jobs I believe and there are jobs boards, LinkedIn where you can see these adverts.

Once you started learning and bring up your skills, all these will come to you naturally. Whether through your networks or through friends, you will start seeing job adverts
