1. So basically, because you believe it is a fabrication, then it must be a fabrication for everyone else then? This is all about everyone seeing these things exactly as you do. undecided

2. But it is stated right there in the book that His agenda is to harvest people from every tribe, and even tongue and every nation. Or must He do His Will according to your will instead? undecided
It is not about me believing it is a fabrication or not. The question is WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE it is not a fabrication
Why not believe that life started in Ile Ife as the Yoruba believe?
Why not believe in Ogun and Obatala instead of Jesus son of Mary?

Do you know who wrote the bible , when or where?
It was presented to you at some point after your birth

If I tell you there are little green men with purple eyes controlling the world then the onus is on me to prove it

My point is simple

There are dozens of similar myths from around the world not just the bible

Why should we believe the bible over others

1. YHWH doesn't care for your black movement either nor your many agitations. His focus is His Israel and His goal includes bringing them all back from every tribe, every tongue, and every nation out there. undecided
How do you know this?

I've been under a few other men of God but none stood out for me like pastor Adeboye. As in the power of God I've experienced from him, his humility and genuine walk and spiritual exercises just makes him outstanding among his fellow GOs.

Yesterdays holy ghost service was one of a kind. The power of God truly came down and I felt it. When he was doing the 360 turn, the power of God was just moving so heavily I felt I was going to throw up my spirit from within me. My spirit was literally trying to jump out of my body. Hmmm.... God is truly with Adeboye..

May God keep him for us. Amen.

I am blessed.
Amen

My brother, you can't help them o.
They believe that there pastors aren't humans. They rely on their pastors to pray, read and interpret the Bible to them...they believe that monies they give to pastors in Churches are actually meant for God.

Circular
Who wrote it and why should anyone with a functioning brain believe it and not believe what Ifa says instead?
I have read the Bible enough times to know it is fiction
Do you have any evidence to prove it is not just fiction

1. I am afraid that is exactly what it is. You choose not to believe the stories even going as far as to label them a fabrication. This is about you. I don't believe that life started at Ile Ife because I have no tangible evidence to follow along with such a belief. I, however, believe in Jesus Christ because I have evidence enough to cause me to believe He is who He says He is. undecided

2. Do I need to first know who wrote the bible, when and where it came from before I can believe in the God expressed in its pages or something? Is there a Law that decrees this somewhere I am not aware of? undecided

3. Your point is moot. It does not matter how many similar myths are out there and there is no law that demands one can only believe in that which is unparalleled —without other ideas similar to it out there —, is there? undecided

Circular meaning going round in circles
We should care because what we have is an enterprise in narrative domination
We are told that the story of the Garden of Eden and Noah's ark are authentic and our own stories are rubbish and to be discarded
Are you calling me a liar? Well it is clear you are empty and would feel more comfortable moving into personal attack.
I do not believe that there was a Garden of Eden, OR That there was a Noah's Ark or that The presumed Originator of the Universe has any special interest in Hebrews above Urhobo or Ijaw people or that such an Originator is a HIM that directed people to circumcise their children and rest of the Sabbath day
Those are fabrications, like fabrications ALL AROUND the world from Argentina to Zimbabwe there is a story everywhere. Nothing special about Hebrew stories
It seems to me that that you have had personal experiences in life that make it necessary for you to use these delusions and fiction as a way of coping. I understand

What evidence do you have for Noah's Ark or that there was Manna from Heaven.
Who did Jesus Christ say he is ?
You are free to believe what you like ? Did I say otherwise anywhere?
The fact still remains that other people with functioning brains that refuse to suspend them have a right to question the logical basis. It is logical to ask where the bible came from before subscribing to its contents

Unbelievers also speak of having the very same euphoric experience at rock concerts with their favorite rock stars, orchestras, etc. For you to believe your particular experience has to do with God and His Spirit reveals you have never in fact ever experienced God in your life. God does not deal with His followers via feelings and emotions. His power is not of your temporal emotions and feelings. Your mogs and pastors are no different from magicians given the way you describe your encounters. undecided
Fool........ How long will it take you to understand that Jesus Christ rule over all the Powers of darkness.

Realize here and now that the problem isn't Jesus Christ as He is quite a logical system of teachings and rules for those who belong to the Kingdom of God. The problem stems from the many illogical, mostly contradictory, interpretations of His teachings and commandments, — the Gospel of the Kingdom of God — that is the very foundation on which churchianism is built. undecided

Your mind is being colonized by a foreign religion to the extent that you cannot think
Any story similar to Noah's Ark, Manna from Heaven, Parting the red sea with Moses' rod etc are not credible and should be questioned
If we understand them as allegories that is fine but when people try to sell them as literally true we must ask who wrote the stories and where they got it from?
Once you ask the fundamental questions

Who wrote the bible
When
Why

You will start to think clearly

In those societies where the Bible was written they were obviously literate. So what else were they writing .

That would give you HISTORICITY context.
The Bible was not the only thing written 3000 years ago. When you study other work you would realize the fictional nature of many biblical tales

Just admit you have no clue what you are talking about
The questions I asked are based on your assertions. No one forced you to make them.
You are the one that claim Jesus said he is something

That shows that either you have not read the bible or you do not know what you are talking about

Once again, who did Jesus say he is?
