Parent should start embracing online schooling and home schooled children ,if this one start next year ,before december 2023 many kids wont know jack shit , start embracing online studying and home school, same teacher who thought your kids can still continue teaching them online if you can afford it.

Where did I even mention London?

You can take London out of the equation and base it on Oxford, Brighton or the home counties and the cost of living is still silly.
Aiit ... I personally dont like UK..
Swiss anytime anyday ...

When you reach UK to teach, they will now they will now tell you to teach the children that Man and Man should marry. That it is correct. If you refuse they sack you.
Oyibo is never kind. They have hidden agenda.

No problem as long as they pay me well. Nigeria is a living hell. Mind you, many Nigerian politicians support same sex marriage when they go to Europe

I mean that's an easy choice. Switzerland tops the UK in almost every metric when it comes to quality of life.

I am 100% sure they only want science base teachers. Subjects like physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and literature are very difficult to see quality teachers to teach in our public schools, and now that the door is open in UK, it will seriously affect our educational sector.

E be like we go put head that way... Will the visa and flight tickets be free?

We're still complaining about the exodus of healthcare and IT professionals, the UK carry come with teachers, going by the way that teachers are poorly paid and treated in Nigeria right now,I forsee a yearly outflow of thousands of teachers within five years of this program. Other English speaking Western nations like Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand etc might soon establish similar programs. These countries would soon depopulate Nigeria of all professionals, what's the next profession to go?plumbers, electricians, carpenters/roofers etc.
Great minds speak alike.while some people are celebrating this development, these white imperialists are planning and strategize to deal underdeveloped world. Its high time our leaders should wake up from their slumber and do the needful.

I'm sorry your story is hard to believe.

It's good for teachers in Nigeria to travel to other countries to cause shortage in Nigeria.

When it becomes hard to see quality teachers in Nigeria, government and schools will be forced to pay them a decent salary.

How can government be paying teachers less than #100k and think it's okay? It's even worse in private schools where some teachers are paid less than #50k.

Globalization is a reality that Nigeria must learn to live with or become utterly useless.
U are even quoting 50k, I taught physics and maths in one private school, and physics and basic tech in the second school I taught with the same 20k salary. After one session I stopped anything called teaching.

The only way someone can enslave you forever is to give you language, education, religion. They are like the immune system that protects a culture from intrusion and against distraction, destruction, disorientation, death.

Once you've accepted a foreign language, education, religion, it means that your culture has lost natural immunity to protect itself, therefore, you (yourself) would justify your enslavement as the right thing because you have nothing to protect yourself. And you die!! Because any illness can freely go in.

Over the past 7 years, I've warned Africans that there's no way the UK can survive outside the EU unless they re-colonize their former colonies. There's no way they can! As far as economy goes, all they have are international oil and banking cartels but with the rise of China and few other Asian countries coming to their senses and the shift to green energy, their control has waned and would continue to do so.

Nairaland educated slave mods don't allow me to add links anymore for people to get additional information about what's being said. If you need more information, go to www.africason.com and read the article: it's time to abolish the common wealth of nations. Also read: Europe and Arabia have launched an economic warfare against Africa. There I've warned for the past 7 years that these are exactly the type of gimmicks the UK would resort to after exiting the European Union.

We are going to be re-enslaved in Africa. It would evolve, so we won't realize it until we get there stuck.

I can see it clearly coming.
Forget about all this bollocks you wrote sir. Have you heard about a concept called "Maslow's hierarchy"?

The few brain we have in this country are just waiting for Elections.

Once it is declared that Tinubu is the winner, they will pack their bags and leave this country for Almajiris and their fellows in the south to run the country as they are fit..

But nothing much to worry about, apc will keep winning elections.

France and Spain are better than the UK. The cost of living is better if you exclude Paris and the weather and food are superior. Also public transit is better.

You are funny.

People are crossing the English channel to enter the UK from France.

if you're a teacher, you would have realised that the country is already experiencing teacher shortages especially in areas like physics, computer, literature etc if they recruit teachers with two years experience from Nigeria, our schools would be heavily affected. Most graduates can't teach,in my school, before you're allowed to go for the micro teaching test new applicants, you must first pass an examination on your subject area. If you apply to teach economics, you would be given a complete past waec question of let's say 2020 to answer, if you pass it,then you can go for micro teaching test before a decision would be made to employ you or not. Recently, we haven't been getting applicants for most subject areas talkless of ones that can pass the required application tests.
How much do this your school pay? And where is it at?

Finally the end has come to our already dead education sector

Teachers aren't appreciated in Nigeria, especially primary and secondary school teachers, a lot of them have really suffered in Nigeria.

They are the ones who should be complaining, not even the doctors.
