was this the reason they connived with the nigerian political class to decimate the Nigerian economy and create massive insecurity through banditry and insurgency so that the best and brightest can flee the country ?

hmmmm by the time everyone leaves - Britain will have all the access to steal our resources with no one back home in Nigeria to stop them while we live as their slaves doing menial jobs in the UK and those who claim to have good jobs will be paying high taxes through their nose to sustain the British economy and have little or nothing to keep for themselves after paying the never ending bills -

we are going their just to eat bread and work like jackie until we get old and expire in the Britain - with no returning to the motherland ….. because there will be nothing to return to

this is sophisticated slave trade all over again - and we are so blind as a society to see it because the availability of bread is used as a bait to have us voluntarily get on the slave ship to perpetual slavery

cry Nigeria - mourn Africa, they finally finished us

Crap.

No body finished you.

This offer is not exclusive to Nigerians, millions of ppl from other nations are also eligible, you think Nigerians are the reason UK is Europe's 2nd largest economy?

The only way someone can enslave you forever is to give you language, education, religion. They are like the immune system that protects a culture from intrusion and against distraction, destruction, disorientation, death.

Once you've accepted a foreign language, education, religion, it means that your culture has lost natural immunity to protect itself, therefore, you (yourself) would justify your enslavement as the right thing because you have nothing to protect yourself. And you die!! Because any illness can freely go in.

Over the past 7 years, I've warned Africans that there's no way the UK can survive outside the EU unless they re-colonize their former colonies. There's no way they can! As far as economy goes, all they have are international oil and banking cartels but with the rise of China and few other Asian countries coming to their senses and the shift to green energy, their control has waned and would continue to do so. The only way the UK can survive outside of the EU would be to re-colonize their former colonies and what you're seeing here is just the beginning. Quote me anyway.

Nairaland educated slave mods don't allow me to add links anymore for people to get additional information about what's being said. If you need more information, go to www.africason.com and read the article: it's time to abolish the common wealth of nations. The commonwealth was set up for cases like this. That's it's real purpose. Also read: Europe and Arabia have launched an economic warfare against Africa. There I've warned for the past 7 years that these are exactly the type of gimmicks the UK would resort to after exiting the European Union.

I've checked history and I can tell you for sure that these little things you see today would evolve into something completely unrecognizable in the next 50 to 100 years.

We are going to be re-enslaved in Africa. It would evolve, so we won't realize it until we get there stuck.

I can see it clearly coming.

Woke crap as usual.

It's actually dangerous to a nation to have to keep importing professionals. What is the future of the young UK citizens?

It goes deeper than you can imagine.

I am not finished bro, I am doing well as an business owner in Anaheim, CA - USA so do not think everyone commenting here is sitting idle at a bus stop at Ojuelegba doing nothing... I am looking beyond these visas- IF doctors are fleeing and the teachers leave (most likely maths and science teachers) then who will be left to groom the next generation ? Do you know currently Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world judging by the number of people living in poverty for any single nation on earth? And there is massive insecurity of lives and property so other nations whose citizens are taking advantage of the program may have a reason to return to their homelands because after a few years they may have conquered poverty and return to invest in their country of origin, but can that be said of Nigerians? Even if they make money, what country are they returning to? where they will be robbed, kidnapped, raped or killed? do you have sense at all or is your head paining you?

I'm sorry your story is hard to believe.

It's good for teachers in Nigeria to travel to other countries to cause shortage in Nigeria.

When it becomes hard to see quality teachers in Nigeria, government and schools will be forced to pay them a decent salary.

How can government be paying teachers less than #100k and think it's okay? It's even worse in private schools where some teachers are paid less than #50k.

Globalization is a reality that Nigeria must learn to live with or become utterly useless.

As is the case with people whose thinking can only go so far....

You gave no thought to the unintended consequences of paying teachers much more money.

The school fees will go up.

Because no school will absorb the cost

Nigeria got to the point it is now because those ruling us have been unable to think things through.

They make decisions based on what is glaringly obvious but lack the brain capacity to ask themselves what will happen that may not be so obvious

Oh I just realised it is you.

The man that wants fuel to sell for N700

No wonder it wasn't obvious to you that the cost of increasing the salaries of teachers is immediately passed across to the parents.

Mtscheww
you're so wrong, teachers are poorly paid because they don't have options. We calculated the school fees for our school with 900 students and divided by the total staff strength of 40, each staff was making over 150k for the school each month yet entry salary for teachers is 30 and much lower for non teaching staffs. Schools can pay better if the government implements appropriate labour laws.

We're still complaining about the exodus of healthcare and IT professionals, the UK carry come with teachers, going by the way that teachers are poorly paid and treated in Nigeria right now,I forsee a yearly outflow of thousands of teachers within five years of this program. Other English speaking Western nations like Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand etc might soon establish similar programs. These countries would soon depopulate Nigeria of all professionals, what's the next profession to go?plumbers, electricians, carpenters/roofers etc.
If I'm minister for education or Nigeria's president, Teachers will be the highest paid professionals

The challenge with this migration could be funds. Hiw many teachers will have the money for the visa applications, travelling up and down for biometrics capture, paying for courier services etc. with their current salaries and economic situation in Nigeria

if you're a teacher, you would have realised that the country is already experiencing teacher shortages especially in areas like physics, computer, literature etc if they recruit teachers with two years experience from Nigeria, our schools would be heavily affected. Most graduates can't teach,in my school, before you're allowed to go for the micro teaching test new applicants, you must first pass an examination on your subject area. If you apply to teach economics, you would be given a complete past waec question of let's say 2020 to answer, if you pass it,then you can go for micro teaching test before a decision would be made to employ you or not. Recently, we haven't been getting applicants for most subject areas talkless of ones that can pass the required application tests.

I hope you salary is good.

Do none of you ever ask why the UK needs to import everything and people for every sector?

They don't have their own people that they can train to do these essential jobs? And if they do why are their own people refusing to take up these positions?

The baby boomers would all be retiring by 2035.. The work force is made of mostly aging folks, hence the need to import "young blood." Also, they are doing what USA is doing with Asia, Cheeap labor.

As of October 2022, the employment rate in the United Kingdom was highest among 35 to 45 year olds, with 84.5 percent of that age group employed. By contrast, 10.8 percent of over 65 were employed, and just over half of 16-to-24 year old's.

in 15-25 years time, 80 percent of their work force would be retiring. You're welcome.

It's amazes me how you hypocrites claim to hate the whiteman but find comfort and security living in the midst of whites.

All this figures you are mentioning are factless and baseless.

Are you expecting US to arrest Tinupoo on behalf of Nigeria? and for what crime?

Do Americans and Europeans wait for us to help them arrest their corrupt politicians,

Blacks are always good at blaming others, when Ibori and late Alamesia former governor of bayelsea were both released by UK prisons for corruption and money laundering, and they both returned to Nigeria, what happened?
They were received and conferred with several chieftance titles by the very persons they looted their treasury.

Was it not the US SEC that exposed the KBR and Halliburton scandal over the awarding of NLNG contracts running into 100s of millions of $?

While EFCC and ICPC were busy chasing shadows.

There are several strategies the West use in stopping corruption in Africa, I remember few years ago it was impossible for Nigerians and Africans to send money abroad using PayPal, western union ,money gram e.t.c this and other measures were put in place to check mate money laundering by corrupt African politicians.

At the expense or loss of business revenue for this companies.

Just that the people in these trades esp in Nigeria are not aware and even when they are, most of them didn't go to approved schools or skill centers to earn certificates that can be verified by Canada immigration,.
