This is why I love to use that holocaust celebration for shock value. Its drives home the point of the savage nature of the Bible stories and its protagonists. Abrahamic adherents can easily hand wave mass murder and genocide despite the numbers because they really can’t picture the madness they are celebrating. I understand why you do it but I think it's real poor taste. Comparing real people's deaths to mythological stories is a massive disconnect on the scale we are referring to. No mythological story can ever compare to the pain and tragedies real people have endured and are still enduring without reprieve from their so called almighty god. If that real suffering they can see with their own eyes is not getting through to them then you know that it would take a whole lot more to get them to sit up and take notice.
