The tenure of President Buhari officially ends tomorrow, May 29th.

The President wasn't great for the economy, but he was near excellent for the military comparing from where we were under President GEJ.

This is a military thread, I have confidence to say the military is in way better hands today than under all the previous President's since the advent of civilian rule in 1999.

Whether you love Buhari or hate him, you must admit that he did the best that he was capable of. He did what he thought was right. For better or for worse.

Instead of wasting time insulting the new President like so many Nigerians like to do, same treatment they gave to Buhari and Jonathan, we should instead pull in our resources, ensure that Tinubu's era brings Nigeria prosperity.

You've said it all. When Nigeria finally attains a state of peace and stabilization, that man Baba Buhari deserves a great amount of credit to his name for his contributions. The military was bolstered up to levels not seen since the Shehu Shagari administration. Boko Haram has been reduced to petty bandits who carryout cowardly hit and run attacks. We no longer hear of suicide bomb attacks or Car bomb attacks. Boko Haram hasn't broadcasted itself for the past 8 years making despicable demands. No one even cares of the whereabouts of Abubakar Shekau, he's vanished like thin air. Nigeria made it's presence strongly felt in ECOWAS missions since the Buhari administration. The military has been set on a reasonable path of self reliance and by God's Grace in the next ten years, Nigeria should be over 50% self reliant in weapons making.

By the way, does anyone have any update on the NASENI made helicopter that was supposed to be inaugurated before the end of the Buhari administration, I have waited patiently enough to see it fly.
