If I be you, I go go do masters for portugal, then maybe in six months time, give my wife belle, make she come born for Portugal.

Portugal na the only country for EU wey dey give cityzinsheep to pikin wey dem born inside their contry, on the condition say one of the pikin parent don live for Portugal at least a year before dem born am.

If your pikin come be a Portugal sheep, then the parents automtically don get the right to stay inside EU permanently. I said Europe, not just Portugal. So just find any country for EU and move there are as as family.

Leave Finland for young guys, as a married man, this package beta for you.

Perfect sir grin
Whichever way, citizenship na citizenship.

I appreciate your quick and intelligent response.
I won't mind some advice on way to go about this Portugal move sir.
Thank you beta person.

If you will study, then four million is not enough unfortunately. 4M naira is about 6k euros, it won't pay for your school fees even. You need at least 8-10k euros for that.

I mean, its a huge money, but naira have fallen so badly that when converted to euros, it becomes so small. If you can increase it, then try. It worth working hard for.

Or you go for bachelor degree programs. They are usually cheaper. Lapland university of applied sciences have the cheapest degree program. At about 4k a year, even better if they give you a scholarship.

I can't recommend any course for you. But go to studyinfo. fi, and search for courses that you like, also use the filter botton to search better. But I'll give you a possibility of relocating without spending much.

Lab university of applied sciences just started a four year engineering bachelor program called sustainable solutions engineering. So you study the first 60 credits (out of 240 credits) online, if you perform well, then from the second year, you can study in Finland for free.

The university will assist you to come to Finland, and tuition fee will be free. The country needs people in that field, so they exempt that program from tuition payment.

You won't find the link to the program on their website (I don't know why), but drop your email and I'll send it to you, so you can apply. I got it through their newsletter, since I applied there long time ago when I was like you, trying to japa.

Goodluck mate. May God bless your hustle.

Get an admission and go there to study. It'd that simple. It's better if your wife go for studies, because na she go carry belle.

Because if you go, it may be hard for her to visit you while you're there, since Schengen visa is very hard to get.

Make she go study. Then she come visit Naija like after five months, nack am belle, make she go born for there after her one year residence don elapse.

I know someone that did this. They are in Ireland now. Moved there after getting citizenship for their baby.

Hi,
Have you made any headways with this? From my research so far, the cheapest unis I have seen in portugal have their tuition fees ranging from 5k -7k Euros for International students. And most of the courses that interests me are taught in portuguese. I'm still researching though.

Have you made any headways? Please let's share.

The embassy requires you to show them how you or your sponsor got that money.
It could be from

Salaries (show documents of your/your sponsor's offer letter and payslips)

Business (tax certificate)

Cash gift(your relationship with the giver)

Loan(loan agreement and repayment plan)

Property sale(cars, house, yatch etc grin)
Can my sister be my sponsor?

I started reading this thread from page 1 since 8pm.
Every page was very rich and helpful and they are all for free from majorly one selfless person.
I've been on nairaland for many years but I've never seen a thread so impactful like this.

In fact, I was shading tears as I read this post that I just quoted.
I've been searching nairaland for the easiest way to Japa since last year but I've never seen any until now.
Thanks so much pansophist for your generosity.
May God continue to bless you and yours.🙏

I'm very much interested to study (MSc) and work in Finland sir.
I'm 42 and married with kids. I have Btech in electrical engineering with 2.2.
I intend to leave mid next year (God willing).

How do I process this journey as a newbie?
What documents do I need to get?
Which school has cheaper tuition fees and in cheaper location?
Would I be allowed to move my family to Finland after a year in school?

Thanks for your response in advance.
And if you want me to pay your 20k charity donation to proof my seriousness, I'll gladly do it sir.

Donation of 20K to charity as proof?

What the hell is that?

I don't know. Do your research.

There are threads on the travel section about studying in Portugal. Ask your questions there.

All I am doing here is to give information about how to establish yourself permanently in the EU.

Finland or Portugal, which one you want to go bros?

No, you can't work with a visit visa. Not only that, you must also return back to your country of residennce to apply for a work permit even if you get a job while visiting.

Not only that, you'll also show close to 7M as bank statements. Then have extra for flights and travel expenses.

Is it possible to get a university for masters full scholarship in Finland?

What is the rate of getting full scholarship?

It's on their immigration website. I assume you mean funds for living expenses right?

That's about 650e a month x 12 months. That's what must be on your account before a residence permit will be issued, amongst other things

I don't know about the rate or chances of getting scholarship, but it's possible. Check each university, they have criterion for scholarship.

But it's mostly centered around academic performance. The best students gets the scholarship.

Or student will get a reduction of school fees if they pay earlier enough.
