VikingKing:

He said that the person who scammed him is a YORUBA GUY, how does that equate to him calling all Yorubas scammers?

And what if he fed from the soil, drank the waters and bleeped Yoruba toto, why should that hamper him from saying the truth?

This type of passive-aggressive bullying is what you Yoruba cows are known for.

I have no issues with both tribes but that guy clearly stated "Yoruba" then he tagged it with SCAM, which is clearly wrong and also an act of tribalism. We're all humans, and every human is a sinner.

I saw the phone checked it and really liked it. I begged the guy for the price and he agreed. bolaji was standing and looking at me and the guy doing our transaction. he gave me the phone and I have him the 11k. .The guy now said that he wanted to remove his sim that I should give him back ,ohh I said okay. that was the moment he changed the phone to a dummy one that he already have in his pocket ..I didn't know and I took it and wanted to go home ..That was when bolaji who knows about this fmt called the guy and me together and told me to give him the phone. ,I did and behold phone wei I on now now na just foam wei them pack nai full inside...Bolaji shouted fufu leleyi na .Naso bj blow the guy for nose o ( Blood came out ) and then he quickly collected my money back From the guy. ,The guy begged him not to shout but bj wasn't having it and before you know people gathered the guy and Started beating him ...we left there to look for another phone to buy ..My people for more than one hour we were walking around computer village we met this guy again and they were beating him with umbrella stand ( The iron) He was fully bloodied this time and begging for water ..Some people say they should not give him water that if the give him he would die ..I felt pity for him to an extent but not too much because I was almost scammed..I learned something from this ..if you want to buy something that you don't know about very well take one or two people wei get head with you

to answer your questions.... HERE IS WHAT I WAS TAUGHT TO DO BY ONE NAIRALANDER ON THIS PLATFORM

I had to get a new AZA, like a new bank account from ecobank, not really linked to my other accounts..

THEN USING THE POLICY THAT BANKS HAD AGAINST CRYPPTO... I forwarded 1k to the scammmerrr... and HIS ACCOUNT WAS BLOCKED, WITH HIS MONEY, WHILE MINE WAS BLOCKED AND I COULD GO TO THE BANK TO COLLECT MY MONEY..

THEN AT THE BANK, I FILLED A REPORT AGAINST HIS NAME AND ACCOUNT NUMBER.... so when he gets to the bank, he will be in trouble.

after a month, I chatted him up again with a new number got his new account and did the same thing... I didnt it for four months consecutively till he was arrested. Simple.

Yes, just last week here by a guy called Bode Ajibola (username: bodmum). I was desperately in need of a phone cuz mine got spoilt and I wasn't having enough money for a new one. He said he has A32 for sale, I sent him 100K and he blocked me. It was actually painful because it's just a regular thing to send money to someone down north here and then get what you ordered for without any issue. The first time I tried with someone down south, turned out he's scammer.

A family friend called me and asked if I'll be interested in civil defense work, I told her yes why wouldn't I? She sent me a number to call the man he'll put me through the process.

I was excited, I called the man who spoke to me calmly, he asked me to send my details to him which include my name, age, height, qualifications and all, i did that without instantly i was sooo fast while typing I'm sure even flash will be trilled at the speed.

The next day he sent a civil defense form to me to fill and scan to his mail, i did that and called him to inform him, he then acknowledge that he has seen it and told me he has forwarded my form to their H.R. I should await their call, i was soo happy immediately i dropped the call i started googling salary of a degree holder of the civil defense officer, saw 151k in my mind i was like their Father i don arrive, i go soon buy Benz.

The H.R called me and told me they've contacted my school to ask if i graduated from their school and they told them yes. He then asked for my c.v and told me to wait for my appointment letter.

Early Thursday morning omo see appointment letter for my mail o!! with my name written in capital letter... I went ahead to borrow the money from a friend and headed to the bank to make payment i already got inside the bank before calling him to send the acct number im to sent the money, that was how the civil defense H.R sent me Yayah Suleman's acct number, i started asking my self why would federal government send me a private account number to pay for training? called the guy and said o boy u almost fooled me sha, the guy laugh and said u got me nice one and dropped the call...

Scammed twice, first when I was about to move to South Africa in the 90s. I needed to phone my agent helping me and went to Lagos Island to make the call. At CMS bus stop I ran to the hand of road side telephone callers , calling to come and make a call at a reduced price. He took me to a very remote area inside Island. We were in one of the dirty room where I made in to in telephone conversation to one of them thinking that I was calling the actual person in South Africa. So happy indeed after the call.I paid 3000 naira for the call. A big money indeed then. The second time was when I came on holiday for the first time from the UK in 2001. I went to the same CMS to change 300 pounds to Naira. The aboki boy whom I had thought would be honest to chang my pounds for me scammed me of my pounds . He has changed my pounds and after few seconds ,he came back to tell me that the pounds were faked. I didn't believe what he was saying and collected the money back from him innocently and went to another aboki. It was the new aboki who confirmed to me that my pounds was actually fake. It was the last aboki who told me that the other aboki has actually changed my pounds to the fake one in my hand. I will never forget the two incidents for ever .

Is the boy that was shown in videos recently in the UK shouting after being denied access to a gym not yoruba?

Why didn't he ''respect'' his host and quietly go home or return to Nigeria?

I just wonder what's in that dirty, overcrowded and rowdy Lagos that should make ''migrants''(as you fools call them) living over there worship you all in appreciation! This is absolute madness

I find it very difficult to understand why people do things like this to their fellow humans without giving a damn about how their victims feel.

What we share does not make any meaning. Truth is that the scams rate is high among the young yerobas
My first scam was based on p- square zoom. That was a total of 130k the second was football prediction site that was 80k these are all yerobas. Interestingly that is their limit.
Though I give some kudos to some of their elite. But it is in their nature they are betrayals. And a betrayal is not far from a scammer.
It is important too that I notify my scammer that a day like this will come.

Adebayo victor, wema bank 7351518352. This guy if you come across him please do not trust him in any form. His a scammer.

Although he has been filed and someday will be arrested.

i was scammed by a CAC pastor. i was invited to a church program and the pastor was also invited. His teaching and words were strong and they melted my harden heart. He made a altar call, I came out and that was my first altar call, i was given a Bible. He asked us to write down our names and i did. After 2 days he added me on Facebook and started calling. After a week, he called me that he wants to help or that God said he should help me. He talked about traveling out of the country and that he would pay for most expenses but i should just pay for one or two things which was up to 100k. i wasn't desperate to travel so i went to different pastors and explain to them, some on the mountain but whenever they hear about traveling, it's all good . i sold off my goods in the shop and send the money. He came to meet my family and he collected my credentials. In a nutshell, i was scammed and i went back to the church to meet the senior pastor but i was told to calm down and not to create a scene , he assured me that my money will be collected back from him but it wasn't. I later discovered that I wasn't the only one he scammed. He is still a CAC pastor, still post lots of powerful prayers and teachings on Facebook. i called him but he replied me with incantations and that i should forget it.
Seems u don't know where police station or EFCC office is

I have been scammed by two Igbo man on different occasions.
The first one went away with my bags of crayfish worth 228k in may 2021.

The second one was in 2022, he carried away my laptop and scammed me and my friend of our money worth 300k
We were only able to get back the laptop when we involve the JTF at Rumuji in Rivers state. And he later promise to pay the money back, but with his family and some of the village heads they appeal for peace. Because I was ready to wipe him away and his family.

That is why when you see me been mad with the igbos mostly when it comes to having anything to do with business, these are the people that caused it.
Hasty generalization..
So because two igbos scammed you, all u have to do it to generalize that all Igbos are scammers

I paid the money to this dude and he stopped replying me, I really feel stupid

On LinkedIn a man contacted me to handle a procurement of 200 pieces of laptop for TETFUND.
This man has a good profile on LinkedIn. Alot of followers also. For a second i thought he was real.

He sent me his WhatsApp number.
I used true caller to search but it never gave me his name. Uchendu Wogu.
I searched him on Google and read his profile. It gave me impressive results.
I proceeded with my quotation and sent. He approved of it and asked me to send it to an email for the bidding process. He also asked me to inflate my quotation to 96 million naira instead of the 33 million naira quotation i gave him. Claiming that was the allocated budget from tetfund. I said okay oh but I became reluctant & suspicious at this point but still played along.
When I adjusted the quotation to his request, he told me to forward the quotation to the email he provided and also advised me to pay the man around 900k as bribe to approve the quotation and hand me the procurement. He said when they pay me, i will give him 65% and take the rest.
I laughed out loud and said Sir, since you know this man who's email you have provided. Why not pay him the 900k and I will deduct it from my own 35%when tetfund credits me?
I also said sir i will like to meet you one on one as I am gonna be in Abuja in two days time.
I said if you can't give him the funds and I pay back from my own 35% then I am OUT.

He never replied me again.
A week later another Ahmad Shehu Hadi contacted me on LinkedIn. His message was exact with that of uchendu wogu. Same punctuation, words and style. More like copy & paste.
I laughed and replied the Ahmad,
Oga scammer is it procurement for laptop that one would pay 900k to get?

He immediately blocked me.
So i guess it's a Team of scammers working together, they look for professionals with impressive profiles on LinkedIn to scam.
Their profiles are also well built with activities.
They are very coordinated so beware and do not fall for such if you happen to be contacted for procurement of any type on LinkedIn.

Interesting revelation!

I Neva knew i could fall for such a scam, it was as if the forces of the universe work against me, and so many coincidence.

A pastor was transferred to our church, and as an active youth in the church he met me and ask me about my work, and i told him am still hustling and there's no work anywhere, fast-forward to the next week on Friday, i received a call from a so called scammer claiming to be my pastor, it pained me i didn't do due diligence, so when he called me he told me he has found a government work for me, just because i had that discussion with my pastor on Sunday, I was so quick to believe it was him and his voice was so similar, and the funniest thing i didn't have my pastor no before, that was how i started paying up till the tune of N200k for a fake job, when i mety pastor in church he denied everything that it was not him, I was so devastated, I just travelled out of the state for awhile, later i heard police came to pick him up for fraud, i just leave everything to God.
