Billionaire game.

Money is just an instrument and measurement of power at this point for them. Not a survival means.

So elumelu bought the shares back to prevent a hostile takeover by Otedola? But Elumelu has been schmoozing him on social media even before otedola bought the shares.

My guess is they probably both colluded to increase the share price value of Transcorp as a result of the sale. For what reason, I dont know.

I'll rather ote$ and Tony invest more in agriculture, solid mineral and mining.
Thats the future of Nigeria,
Check the cement industry the likes of Dangote and Bua will only get richer still.
It's a billion dollar market that you perfect here and replicate all over Africa

ACRI:
Smart man

Elumelu was toasting him in an interview recently but baba still japa

Whats Elumelu afraid of? Why buy out Ote?? Anyways he don cash out already so na win-win
Two captains shouldn't be in same boat.

Ote$ controls some GenCos in Niger while TransCorp controls Ughelli and Afams Power Plants (alongside the hospitality investment it has).

Tony Elumelu was the one that mopped up dying TransCorp, turned it around and started it out on the path of full Corporate Governance and Profitability.

For Ote$ to gain board seat and begin a hostile takeover will be a waste of effort for Elumelu.

Ote$ is welcome to join and have shares in TransCorp but significantly controlling the Board will be threatening to Elumelu.

Otedola's investment strategy in the last couple has been amazing, from First Bank to Transcorp has been very strattegic. His next move?

What are they seeing? This one everybody is buying Transcorp shares and solidifying their stakes.
Transcorps is massively vested in Nigeria energy sector and with subsidy of petrol about to be removed by The FG.... companies like transcorp,Geregu and many indigenous ones in d energy sector will experience big booms in years to come

This seems very much like collusion to pump and dump. Otedola's investment simply helped drive up Transcorp's shares, and now they want to make it seem like he is exiting out of friendship.

These money men have just scammed a few gullible investors.

Good investment.. People who bought Peugeot 504 in the 80's for around #15,000 vs people who started a business for the same amount are the ones who now are enjoying the fruit of their labour

504 in the eighties was about ₦4850.

Maybe a Mercedes Benz 280 went for up to ₦10,000, but I seriously doubt that.

₦1 back in the eighties is more than ₦1000 now.

Still, a lot of people started businesses back then....a lot of my Dad's friends owned petrol stations, bakeries and stuff. Dad opted to be a farmer.

Well, guess what?

Most businesses set up back then are dead now.....I still pass by some of the carcasses of petrol stations and be like.....wow......Nigeria kills business.

A fantastic lie the write up is meant to cause panick sales of individual holding by the poor if you know you know Transcorp would be a gold mine in the future Tony is seen as a close ally to the president select so speculation has it that Transcorp would have much more government contracts to handle the reason otedola rushed in to take position don't be deceived this guys are smarter than you think Transcorp hasn't started yet

Wow. So, Otedola cashed out with 5 or 6 times his initial expense. Smooth.

This man is just selling all he's shares up and down even few of his properties. My friend Dad was among those who bought his estate and with the information the man said having all these money without a solid son to take over them when he's gone. So the man is just selling them all to enjoy his life more before he will go. His only son has health issues and baba is being forced to be happy by his daughters. When we went to his house in Lagos Island around 2021, he usually get carried away with thinking but Cuppy is always gingering him up. Na dollars them dey spend for their house anyhow. There's even $2k welcome envelope from the main castle entrance.
