I have a daughter she's barely 2 and have year but every music play from naija FM she will be sing all the music along with the song mind you, my radio is always on naija FM because of Way they play music, I love music alot. I always suprise how she got to pronounce every bit in all the music, the most amazing is that she didn't know how talk very well. Now is it her talent to note of, in future or it just the way children memorise thing at tender age.

a child brain is a sponge, just make sure you fill it with proper valuable stuff. so stop playing yeye radio with nonsense songs and instead start playing mathematics, English and geography tapes all day...

Na memory now. Why not switch that child over to listening to educational stuff more for her age so she can get caught up instead on what would in fact benefit her more? She should be soaking up BabyFirst, LittleEinstein, or PBSkids or something which is far better for her than all that music to her brain.

abeg enjoy it o....when they play that Burna song and he talks about shayo and igbo (chant with your daughter) AND/OR when he sings "Where they girls na shaky nyansh e o?" (chant with your daughter) AND/OR when they play that Ckay song and he sings "I am so obsessed, I want to chop your nkwobi" (chant with your daughter).

She has ears for music, redirect it to her age-appropriate music such as nursery rhymes that would help stimulate her developing brain, learn new words, recognize sounds in words etc. Overwhelming majority of today's Nigerian music is not child-appropriate.

Instead of op to listen and find ways of taking correction you're here arguing. That tender age is an age you can use to mold a child in the right way.

Nothing like talent there, your child has a sound memory put it to good use. Not cramming all those waywards songs of nowadays.

Don't encourage such a music in your home. Music is a culture itself, feed her brain with a better information she is in her formative age don't spoil her future.
