â–  You are now beating about the bush after you've clearly lost an argument YOU started!
I made a simple statement that natural selection (survival of the most successful - however you define success in that environment) mandates that men be polygamous!
I am afraid you are the only one competing with yourself. I am simply trying to grasp the rationale behind your various claims, including your attempt to connect polygamy to the idea of natural selection. undecided

Just a thought but as you argue that a man spreading his seeds across many women increases his chance of spreading his "success genes" , does it not also occur to you that it equally increases the likehood of him "fathering" more kids that are from other "success gene" proliferators such as himself? undecided

During the same time your grandfather proceeded to have for himself a harem, there can equally be found many who chose not to. Sure, women want an exclusive monogamous relationship, but you'll be shocked to find out that most of those women in long distance relationships or marriages also have side dudes and in most cases, their boyfriends or husbands never get to find out about it.

Most men who are in long distance relationships or marriages keep fathering children that are not biologically theirs... grin grin grin

You have spoken well. I'm sure many men and guys fall into this category. Do DNA on your children to avoid shalaye if you know you are in the above category.

That's why I don't do long distance relationships or marriage.

I don't want to end up being tempted because temptation is real, the same way as loneliness is real too.

If you ask me, most of the men thought not to be cheating are either poor or yet to be caught.

Women are so wonderfully created, it's easy for them to enter our eyes and if your pocket is full, it's even easier to bed them. So whether it is in our nature or not, most men are cheaters is a fact. And by most we are talking really high numbers if we count the ones wey no get money but wan do grin maybe 85%/90%.

It's good for a man to be disciplined sha.

If you are the undisciplined type, keep things in moderation. Don't keep side affairs. If you must chop outside, have a good reason, chop and clean your mouth. Don't lose guard like Davido and don't go close to Anita, unless u r tired of your marriage.

the reality of this issue is irrelevant to whether men are polygamous in nature or not.... IF A MAN IS INDEED POLYGAMOUS THEN LET HIM BE HONEST AND TELL THAT TO HIS WOMAN/WOMEN OPENLY, SO HE DOESNT HAVE TO CRAWL LIKE A RAT AT THE DEAD OF NIGHT TO CHEAT!

if you tell your woman from the get go:" hey babe, i am a polygamous man and you will only be one of the many women in my life" then technically, when this man meets other women, it can never be considered cheating. the problem here is that the majority of the weak yeye men we have today are so afraid of being themselves, so they would rather PRETEND they are "one woman man" and then crawl at the dead of night to cheat.

Cheating is not the same thing as polygamy. Cheating is dishonesty. Both men and women cheat but men do it more.

Depends. I am in a relationship (not yet married) it's been 6yrs but have not seen pants of another girl despite fact that I and my partner are far apart and see just twice a year.

I think it all boils down to self control. I am good looking, I am tall, I have a car, I am trying in my earning, I live in a 2 bed apartment alone but I have never tasted another lady in 6yrs except my fiancee who visits during holidays and we make love to our full.

I have female friends, presently 5 are giving green lights. One even accused me of being a gay. But I don't mind. At least my babe knows how hard I go on her.

I have always been a one man one woman guy. What people describe as fun is disturbance to me. I don't drink, smoke, club or even take sex as a big deal.

Sometimes I feel tempted to taste another but after inviting them over, a day to the meeting I will just cancel it and they will. Feel bad.

I don't want to start what I cannot finish and also don't want to get the wrong person pregnant because I only want to marry and have kids with who I love. Hence I avoid laying with any other girl

If you still don't see the connection after all the explanations, then you're a lost cause.

Let me spoonfeed you:
If men had an inate desire to be with only one woman and that woman alone, then there'd be no way to select (NATURAL SELECTION!!) for the most admirable/adaptable/successful genes!

If you still don't get it, go jump in the lake!

May I suggest you a bit more actual digging into the theory of Natural Selection is order that you gain a better understanding of what it is in fact about? I say this because none of the assumptions you continue to insist on connects in any way to the idea or what it is truly about. undecided

Lol I've said it before.

Why do these men that scream "men are polygamous in nature" never marry more than one woman?
Sneaking and cheating isn't polygamy and it's not done in secrecy.

If there's nothing wrong with having more than one woman, why are you sneaking around?

Marry your other woman and bring her home then you can talk about being polygamous.

Any discerning dude can just confirm the redpill by reading female comments on NL.

A man without the Redpill is a finished men. Amen

Lol does the red pill talk about marrying multiple women?

Polygamy may not be everybody's cup of tea but it's not a crime.

Why are the men that claim to be polygamous always married to one woman?

Sneaking and cheating is not the same as polygamy.

If you claim to be into polygamy they either marry multiple women from the get go or marry another woman as time goes on.

But they never do this why?

They should walk the talk or keep quiet.

And I respect those polygamous men who are honest with themselves from the get go, unlike all these ones shouting "men are polygamous in nature", but they're in monogamous relationships and busy sneaking around.

1) Would a young lady still want to get married and be tied to just one man if she had a bunch of willing guys available for sex any time she wants?

I think the nature/behavior of women throughout history validates the assertion(that men are polygamous in nature) more than anything men did/does.

For instance, a lot women would marry or become a baby mama for a known married man if he meets certain standards, and will happily stay with him and continue to "love" him as long as he maintains status quo.

It's not quite the same for men as men are more territorial in that regard.
