It doesn't sound so dumb to those who believe in that nonsense.

How can "I" as a God(Yahweh), the omnipotent , incarnate as a man(Jesus), to sacrifice myself (Jesus) to myself (Yahweh) for the same man that I cursed by myself(Yahweh), so as to appease myself(Yahweh )of myself by myself (Jesus) because "I" (Yahweh) didn't have the power to forgive man until I (Yahweh )see a stream of blood coming from myself (Jesus) while hanging myself (Jesus) on the crucifix?

I don't know how that shit story doesn't give people headache, honestly.

This is why they don't get a headache.

God Almighty of the Jews is the only true God and not the Roman empire invented New Testament god that could not find a single virgin to mate with in Israel but decided to commit adultery by mating with another man's wife to produce himself as jesus christ

Mr Man, the vision of Stephen is called anthropomorphism. God is described expressions that makes meaning to us as humans.
God is described as having a face, ears, hand and feet in the bible. But he's invisible. The bible says no one has seen God but his son who is also God.
When God dwelled in the tabernacle or the holy of holy, he was invisible. Israelites didn't see him.

Common Mr. man, people saw God face to face in the Bible!
It's the Bible that describes God poorly! How does three persons exist as father, Son and Spirit yet they are one!

Now to the son of Man, let's see how the old testament described him.

13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,[a] coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

The above Daniel verse still mentions one person on the throne and the other standing coming to him! The one on the throne gave authority to the one standing as he does not have authority before!

Finally since u happy to quote the words of Paul saying Jesus is a man, which we don't have a problem with anyway.
U shouldn't have a problem when same Paul said the FF about Jesus.

Philippians 2:5-7
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.

Colossians 1:15
[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created…

Colossians 2:9
In [Christ] all the fullness of the Godhead deity dwells bodily.

Now if u deny the above writings of Paul, then u ate just a desperate hypocrite. Choose and pick what suits your fancy just like u people do with your hadiths.

Furthermore, this is what Peter said about Jesus.

2 Peter 1:1
To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Finally John 1. 18 says

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Choose your pick, the buffet is plenty and in abundance.

We Christians don't make things up like u Muslims do. Jesus being God is as real as the father being God.

Why don't you see so many contradictions?

God is not man!
God became man!
Jesus is God!

This answer is too verbose and vague!
Who is sitting on the throne?

Isaiah's Vision of the Lord in His Glory Isaiah 6:1-3
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted; and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him stood seraphim, each having six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling out to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory.”…

“Look! I see the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.” Act 7:56

You are merging 2 scenarios.

Isaiah saw The Lord Jesus (One Person) on The Throne

Stephen (Act 7:56) saw 2 people, The Lord Jesus standing by His Father, God.

Where was God incarnate in the Old testament?

Anywhere God is seen in bodily form in the old testament. Abraham saw God, Jacob saw God, Moses and Israelites leaders saw God.

AntiChristian:

Why do God need to have incarnate to copy pagans and paganism?
If Jesus has human nature and human soul doesn't that make Jesus greater than the father who has no human nature and human soul?
All these are theories which can never be proven from the direct words of Jesus even in your New Testament!

Numerous verses described incarnation of God in the New testament.
I already quoted some, check previous mentions.
Read more here...

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Matthew 1:23
"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

John 8:58
Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

AntiChristian:

O, can you show me how God created Adam from earth and blow Spirit and Soul in to him?
Do show me the separation of Soul and Spirit in man from the Bible!

“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior” (Luke 1:46-47).

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)

THESSALONIANS 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God made man in his image, gave him a soul in a body to become a living being.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

AntiChristian:

God is one yet has three persons that can act separately yet Human body and soul/Spirit can't act likewise!

Human being is one entity who is expected to be one person.
However go and read about multiple personality disorder and we will revisit the topic.
If u also believe in witchcraft, then u have no leg to stand on.

AntiChristian:

Where does God have a soul?

I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. Lev 26.11

And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel. Judges 10.16

You sabi wordplay bro! How can your second sentence be correct and the last also correct? God is one then you created three persons in that oneness. You even name the persons; one father, one son and one Spirit. Then the son called the father God! The father can send the son and spirit errands as He is greater than them but they are still different persons yet one! So crazy!

The father sits!
The Son stands!
The Holy Spirit was not mentioned!

The father is omniscient!
The Son and Spirit are not omniscient!
The spirit of delusion holding you is very strong that is why you will keep arguing when their is nothing to argue. If you use that energy to study your koran many of your brothers would have seen the light and be free from their delusion. The creator is not the only one there. Isaiah saw 1 throne, Steven 2, their is even another. They show you what they want you to see. They don't show you everything. Their is another with him - pro 8:22-23

U asking why does God need to enter his creation. Well maybe this would help.

Exodus 19

9 The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.

On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. 17 Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 18 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. 19 As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.

20 The Lord descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain.
So Moses went up 21 and the Lord said to him, “Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish. 22 Even the priests, who approach the Lord, must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out against them.”

This is old testament not NT. So according to this passage, did God enter his creation Yes or No.

Let me ask u a question, have u actually read the bible. I mean not just picking on verses but done a study on the bible as an apologetic.
From your response here, I don't think so.

What I've noticed about u Muslims apologetics is that your knowledge of the bible is very shallow. Lacking in depth enough to engage in Christian theology.
All u find in the bible is Jesus is God, trinity or Muhammed is in the bible.
Outside of those 3, u people become lost when challenged and become incoherent.

Though I admit there are some exception. I've met a Muslim apologetic who admitted if the gospel of John is true then Jesus must be God. His argument was then hinged on the gospel of John isn't true.

I've also meant some who admitted Jesus is indeed divine but not at the same level as the father.
These are Muslims apologetics who have actually studied the bible and fully understand the content and message.

Unlike most nairaland Muslim and atheist apologetics who can't even explain basic Christian theology from the bible.

Messianic or divinity claim didn't start with Jesus and wouldn't end with him.
People will always believe what they want to believe.

The answer to your response is in the book of acts 5 and Deuteronomy 13.

33 When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

Deuteronomy 13
If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him

Did you miss that part?

Since u quote from the book of Isaiah, I will be using the book of Isaiah to prove Trinity.

Isaiah 48.
12 “Listen to me, Jacob,
Israel, whom I have called:
I am he;
I am the first and I am the last.
13 My own hand laid the foundations of the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;
when I summon them,
they all stand up together.

14 “Come together, all of you, and listen:
Which of the idols has foretold these things?
The Lord’s chosen ally
will carry out his purpose against Babylon;
his arm will be against the Babylonians.[a]
15 I, even I, have spoken;
yes, I have called him.
I will bring him,
and he will succeed in his mission.

16 “Come near me and listen to this:

“From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret;
at the time it happens, I am there.”

And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me,
endowed with his Spirit.

17 This is what the Lord says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go

This is God speaking in this passage but in v16 we noticed God speaking about LORD Almighty sending him.
If God is speaking, then who are “the Lord Gᴏᴅ” and “His Spirit” and “Me”? More confusing still is the fact the Lord God and the Holy Spirit sent the One who is called the First and the Last—the One who laid the foundation of the earth.

Clearly, all three of these entities are God. Isaiah unveiled all three Persons of the Godhead: “the Lord Gᴏᴅ,” referring to the Father; “His Spirit,” referring to the Holy Spirit; and “Me,” referring to the speaker, who later identifies Himself as the “Redeemer” (v. 17). Thus the speaker is the Messiah.

Let's look at another passage in Isaiah chapter 42
Re: Did Isiah Saw Three Gods In One On A Throne? by SIRTee15: 7:53pm On Aug 23, 2023
Isaiah 42.13 talks about LORD matching out like a champion....
The Lord will march out like a champion,
like a warrior he will stir up his zeal;
with a shout he will raise the battle cry
and will triumph over his enemies.

Who is the LORD described here who will engage in seemingly physical battle.
The answer is in the book of revelation

11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

king of kings and lord of lords.

Remember AntiChristian believe in Jesus of Nazareth o and his Qur'an acknowledged Jesus as a prophet of God.
So try to convince him that Jesus never existed or that he is not a prophet of Jehovah first.
Otherwise tell him also that he's deluded for believing that Jesus is a real prophet of God! smiley

Are you saying Jesus is also a spirit being when the bible in fact says that Jesus has come to them in blood and flesh?

2 John 7 "For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. "

I ask again, the bible says, I mean Jesus said that He and the Father are one. Which means they are the same in everything, and with everything. How do you intend to reconcile this contradictions?

Lol. Are you not a spirit being even in your earthly form? You posses a body, soul and spirit. With your spirit you interact with the divine. Everything above is a spirit being and when they choose to manifest here they still possess a portion of that form.
The same person said the father is greater than him. He is one with him cos he is connected to him via his spirit. Once your mb (the source/spirit) finish or removed you no go fit brawse

I'm really happy to educate u on this so called contradictions.
But on one condition, we take it one at a time.
I've engaged atheist on this in the past and always end up jumping from one point to another without any conclusive ending.
Take one contradiction, thrash it out and then move to the next.

You are welcome, okay!
Let's deal with the contradictions on this thread first of all...

Your fellow brethrens have tried to reconcile the inconsistencies of the Holy Trinity.

You may look thru my block on this thread, I don't want to re-type to re-ask again, let's avoid redundancy and repetitions.

Simply put, what's your stance about the Holy Trinity and the God person(s)?

This is why they don't get a headache.

God Almighty of the Jews is the only true God and not the Roman empire invented New Testament god that could not find a single virgin to mate with in Israel but decided to commit adultery by mating with another man's wife to produce himself as jesus christ

The picture you attached with your comment in a no small way explains the reason they don't have headache truly.

They've suspended their sense of reasoning until 59years after it hits them that, that white character can't do a thing for himself, not to talk of anyone.

They need a church, the members must contribute thru their nostrils. Can't their God make money rain from heaven, or make a whale vomit money the same way the disciples took money out of the fish in the Bible? 🤣🤣🤣.

Without further ado, though ado itself is a further. I have come to realise that, humans will force themselves to keep believing whatever they want to believe even if they aren't sure or such is without proof. Having to look for ways to believe in the existence of a god is the number proof that no such God exists.

If there was any God, it would be so evident that no one would be able to disprove it. If the sun and the moon couldn't be disproven, how much more a being called "God"?
