Like you said, many groups have good and bad eggs.
If you don't find the perfect group, and you really want to join a Church group, at least remember to imitate them, but only in the ways they imitate Christ.

You are clearly evading the question. If the goal is to imitate your fellow human beings, why don't you imitate Christ directly. Remember, man will fail you.
Again from your answer, it seems just any church will do since all churches have both good and bad eggs.

If not, what should one look out for before aligning with a church.
Please don't mention "a bible believing church," because all christian organizations believe in the bible one way or the other.

We know the character and lifestyle the followers of YHVH Almighty, of Yahushua the Messiah, are supposed to exhibit. Just as day is clearly different from night, so are the two classes or groups of people different.

You are still being ambiguous. Yes, we all should learn to study the scriptures and yes, we all should ask our Father in Heaven for understanding still from your knowledge of the scriptures, what would you look out for on deciding the group or organization to follow.
