It also has auto correct like safari (really nice)
You can now add bookmarks right from the address bar.
It no longer needs to refresh all the time (eg when posting replies on nairaland.

Already have ifile from Cydia. Other than the upload file feature I didn't see where to copy or delete files on it. Anyways as I mentioned earlier i-FunBox is what I use. Works like a charm.

Hi guys, I need some information from those of you who have been using iphones on this thread. I'm thinking of getting an iphone, but with the issues I've heard concerning the iphone4 and the S version kinda put me off, so instead want the 3gs. Basically what I want from the phone is a good music player as I have loads of digital media, an excellent camera, good PIM functions (ability to seamlessly synchronize with MS Outlook) and lastly, the ability to turn the phone into a wireless hotspot. (My android SG does it nicely)
Do you think my choice of the iphone 3gs will meet my requirements? Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

Choosing an iPhone 3GS over an iPhone 4 or 4S is just really insane. There are no issues!

3Gs will go all that except that "excellent camera thing" you mentioned. I'm sure all what you have been hearing about iPhone 4 and 4s is the issue of the phone getting locked if you upgrade. Bro, if you buy a factory unlocked iPhone 4 or 4s, there is nothing to worry about. you will only be conscience about jailbreak which is not a must plus that (jailbreak) also implies to 3Gs.

Cutting of sim is not an issue, you could cut you sim and still use it with a Nokia phone later. I use my MTN microSIM on a small Nokia Torch light phone. The jailbreak is not an issue as well, It is not a must. If you buy a factory unlocked iPhone, quote my words, factory unlocked iPhone 4 or 4s. You DON'T need gevey for anything so you don't have an issue with update. You can upgrade anytime you like.

Antenna issue. Now that's was then. I, Suntemi, I don't have antenna issue with my iPhone 4. Buy iPhone 4, if you can't afford 4s. Na little different no mind Apple.

Anyone talking of antenna issue on iPhone4 is still living in Stone-age.

No matter, the type of ur iPhone (3Gs, iPhone 4 or 4s) in as much you can run current IOS on it, you are good to go!

I don't know anyone that sells new 3Gs these days. Used range from 35k to 50k. Cost depends on neatness, type of unlock e.t.c
