This golden age was before my time here on NL! I still read 2009/2010 articles! Even some far back!


I guess many christians and muslims did not want to share their religious debates with unbelievers. They got tired of it. I'm sure many users prefer to dicuss theological issues with fellow believers. Debate gets tiring when your side is on the losing side that is always attacked.

Unfortunately Huxley was being extremely cagey and defensive so we couldn't fully explore some of the issues in it. And I was also sorely aggrieved when it got moved out of the Religion section into some wasteland called the general section despite the fact that neither Huxley nor myself ever posted outside of the religion section and the topic though not religion itself was very pertinent to religion and the Atheists' criticism of religion.

Actually . . . while we're on the topic, may I request for the thread to be moved back here to the Religion section. Please. Pretty please.
