Richvkunt: Good day everybody,I feel I need to make certain clarifications.
1.I do not know this family from Adam.I happened to have paid a close friend of this family a visit over the weekend and while we were watching TV,his wife came to inform us,that the children of the man in this story were throwing their fathers property out of HIS house.This led to my accompanying my friend to the house where I was able to gather the few facts I have presented in this thread.
2.My friend confirmed to me that the man actually BUILT the house in question and trained his four children up to the university level.
3.His first wife was a full time house wife but she also engaged in buying and selling on the side.
4.The children had NO issues with their father taking a second wife initially,provided he kept to their rule of not bringing the new wife into the house he BUILT.The man kept his side of the bargain by renting an apartment for his new wife at another location and apparently was shuttling between his house and the new wife's apartment.
5.Trouble started when the first wife developed this strange ailment,that was making her behave like she was insane.Instead of the children to allow the father to provide medical care for her they choose to consult a native doctor,who on examining the woman declared that their father had collected some charms and planted them in his room in the house he BUILT.
6.The four kids then decided to eject their father from his own house by flinging his property out of the house with the hope that the charms would be ejected with the property and their mother would get well.
7.For those saying the man is a wimp,I ask what can a 65-70 year old man do physically when faced with four strapping young men aged between 25-35 years?Except the respect him which they apparently do not,they would have him for breakfast,dinner and supper as many times as they want.
I apologize for writing this late,but I felt I needed to clear the grey areas to the best of my limited knowledge of the facts of the case.

Why? this is Nigeria where children believe in parental blessings and think ten times before they disobey their parents talk more of man handling a good father and ALL the kids you say? all because he married another wife and their mama has issues.At the ages of those children their actions speak volumes beyond the act they committed.

Agreed I am not an insider but I was an eye witness that night of the incident.
On the other hand you are neither an insider nor an eye witness but you are relying on what I have posted to draw a very wrong conclusion in order to satisfy yourself on your mission to male bash.
This was why I posted the clarification you quoted.

The man is an eediot. His life is evidence of that. He was a broke ars.e all his life, and the first time he got his hand on a little cash (which Im sure is pocket change to me and you), he decided to waste it all on renting a place for some 16 year old girl (when he already has a house), rather than setting his children up in life or treating his long suffering wife to some rest and relaxation after all the sacrifices she must have made with him over the last 30 odd years.

Why couldnt he cheat discretely on his wife all these years if he needed some "action"? It is in his old age that he wants to behave like a kid, throw his toys out the pram and rub disgrace in his wife's face. There are many great men out there keeping their families intact whilst still enjoying small action on the side.
