If you missed the service in Daystar, where Pastor Sam Adeyemi shared his view on tithe, it is going to be rebrocasted at 3:00pm Nigeria time
otherwise, wait for tomorrow, when it would have been already uploaded

That's his own understanding of tithe. His understanding cannot overrule mine. Thank you.

Even at that his position is not totally correct

Tithingis NOT NECESSARY ANYMORE AND OBSOLETE and is no longer supposed to be taught as either compulsory or not mandatory since the works of the law have been nailed to the cross. Whether or not it precedes the law is not the issue.

Of course you won't see the 10% crew swearing that they will continue to pay even if pastor gambles with their money

The folly of most Pentecostal Christians is downright nauseating
But you are an atheist. You don't know God, then how did you know what God really wants?

In Today's service in daystar, Pastor Sam Adeyemi shared his view on tithe, he says that tithe as paid in the old Testament as a law with curses attached has expired, and no Christian should be pressured or forced to pay tithe, he also said that not paying tithe does not attract a curse for a Christian, since we are under a new covenant, he however stated that giving is a choice, everyone should decide the percentage they want to pay with the knowledge that you will be blessed based on how you give. Pastor Sam's sermon is always sound and practical. No wonder most Daystar's members are successful.

Thank God for making them see the truth...

It grieves me hearing people proclaim that the blessings of God is for tithers and givers.

It shouldn't grieve you because it's the truth, particularly for financial blessings.

"He however stated that giving is a choice, everyone should decide the percentage they want to pay with the knowledge that you will be blessed based on how you give."

The above statement still makes him a thief. Tying God's blessings to how much you can give.

All these ole pastors.

What is required for Christians is FREEWILL OFFERING that is NOT EVEN ROUTINE but IN RESPONSE TO NEED.

Oga just be quiet

You people specialize in judging others after jumping to nameless and silly conclusions

Even if I am an atheist I know what the Bible says and the last time I checked the Bible isn't an exclusive preserve for Christians only.

I wonder when my position on God became the issue.

This is why I say your type of Christians are mostly brain dead simpletons and you aren't any different.

This tithe issue and topic have been over flogged and its now becoming irritating..

It clearly shows three things.
1. Ignorance of what the sacred scripture says
2. Ignorance of the person of the God whom they claim to serve.
3. Unbridled greed on the part of the part of supposed Christians..

Argue with your keypad..
Re: Pastor Sam Adeyemi's View On Tithing by stagger: 7:54pm On Feb 25, 2018
This is the problem. Pastor this says this, pastor that says that...

If you want to know the truth about an issue, read the bible for yourself and ask God in prayer to give you a revelational understanding about the issue, not always relying on what this or that pastor said.

Search and know what God says about such controversial issues by yourself!

The funny thing is that, it is impossible to tithe the way God expects one to do it. And sadly, the Pastorpreneurs have been teaching this false doctrine of obligatory monetary tithing. Whereas, tithing was never paid monetarily.

Even more sad, is the ignorance of Christians who have their Bibles right in front of them, but will still swallow everything "Daddy" or "Papa" says...without researching the scriptures and asking the Holy Spirit to guide them...

Ignorance is bound to occur when the Truth is substituted for religion...

Tithing is for those who wants to practice Judaism...

The boldened says it all.

No need to add anything further
Re: Pastor Sam Adeyemi's View On Tithing by Nobody: 7:57pm On Feb 25, 2018
Obviously, I share same view with him.
Quite amusing, In the old testament you don't PAY tithe, you BRING YOUR tithe. You don't bring your tithe to get blessed(even though blessing follows you for that act) rather you bring your tithe because you are blessed already. So the tithe is just a percentage of your blessings.
Thank God all these were done away in Christ.
