It's so funny a Pastor of a church talks as if fasting is never mentioned once in the Holy Bible....Mr Pastor...I have Pastors that have fasted for 100days while only eating once a day....I personally fasted 7days straight drinking only palp, white rice and water....This man is definitely working for CIA underground...no be USA...na today....

i fasted yesterday! And it wasnt 4 ramadam although in ramadam month. Dat pastor is a disgrace by implying christains dnt fast.
Al thesame we nid peace, and i think this wil help cool our muslim brothers.

He is nothing but a spy in their midst, he want to know their secret if there is any. Just as many Muslims have the Holy Bible, not because they want to become Christians.

Abstaining from certain food and eating others is certainly not a fasting as precribed by the Holy Qur'an. Drinking only palp, eating only white and water is more like watching one's diet if you ask me.

(Fasting)For a certain number of days; but whoever among you is sick or on a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; and those who are not able to do it may effect a redemption by feeding a poor man; so whoever does good spontaneously it is better for him; and that you fast is better for you if you know.
Quran 2:184

In summary
an ulcer patient will not fast but will feed a poor person who is fasting for the whole Ramadan as ransom.

A boy was beaten to unconciousnes becoz a qur'an was found wit him nd he wasnt a 'believer'. I am very afraid, i hav a delicate body o! You must learn to separate ignorance of some Muslims from Islam just as some of us do separate the ignorance of some Christians from Christianity. A great problem we have is that a lot of people find it very convenient to lump the ignorance of some Muslims with Islam.

Y wud dis cus a disaster in d house. Apparently mst xtian join muslims in d month of ramadan. Bt for d pastor, may be he com to knw d blesin in dis month. Regardles of being islam, xtian has it own fastin which is 40 days if am correct. Certainly it is only a few people do fast e.g 10%.

Fasting with the muslims doesn't mean anything, its your belief that matters, I also have a friend in my area called jide a typical christian, he is fasting with us now from the beginning of the fasting, when I asked him why fasting with us? He replied that he did not even know when christian fasting commence that's why he engaged in fasting with the muslims
