Before u accuse someone of idolising an object or person, you must prove that d "someone" is worshiping d idol or person. If not u dont have a case.
So my dear, it will be interesting to know how u come to d conclusion that an object/person is been idolised.

I am not shifting the burden of proof, all I am asking you to do is to enlighten those of us that know less than the catholic church the biblical essence of bowing before a piece of decayed human flesh because to the best of our little bible knowledge such practise goes against the instructions of God and his son Jesus christ.

Are catholics that heartless. Dont they feel for that man who should be buried to rest in peace. cutting out his heart to keep in a room where you kneel and bow before it in prayer is diabolical. it reminds me of some secret society movies in Nigeria.

Bowing could and maybe an expression of worship, but what makes it worship or not isn't the posture, it is the heart and intension of the person. Whatever posture d person assumes whether bowing or even prostration doesnt make it worship! The intention of d person does. And u ijawkid and everybody here doesn't even know d intention of d next guy, how do you presume to know d intention of the people you criticize? Even d people u criticise totally say "i do not worship it" then are u God that u should know otherwise.
Worship isnt a matter of accident or posture, it must come from d heart and unless u know d heart u can not judge.

Why the arguments, the bible simply says thou shall not make thee any graven image or the likeness of anything in heaven, on earth or in the waters beneath the earth. God also says you shall not bow to them or serve them. That's for images you may say. Now, bowing to a dead piece of flesh is strange to me. I serve a living God.

sorry my dear, d burden of proof lies with u making the accusation. If i wanted to explain d use of relics i would have open a thread, since frobel has started one with accusation, i'll just enjoy. He should show he has a case, if not his accusations is without meaning.
