Ubenedictus: sorry my dear, somethings are certain and i believe paul spoke in certain terms he said by faith those who believe are "seeds of abraham", the meaning of seeds in this context is simple it means "by faith we ar CHILDREN of abraham", i see no reason why you wish to twist as turn "seed" to mean another thing.

If i was good at throwing the word "heresy" around, i would have no problem taging the bolded as such. You said d man that had faith like abraham was replaced by the new born again man, that is nonsense. Your old man, the self of sin was replaced by a new man, a born again man who by faith is a child of abraham, and in christ is a heir of abraham's blessings.
Goshen u were d guy busy endorsing the message i hope you take time to correct the bolded.

This is why i earlier said you were simply shrouding yourself.

christemmbassey:
Well , my fellow christians, Abraham is the father of the jews AND NOT OUR(CHRISTIANS) father. ...
1. Jesus Christ was sent by God only to the Lost sheep of Israel
21 Jesus went from there to the area of Tyre and Sidon.
22 A Canaanite woman from that area came out and began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, please help me! My daughter has a demon inside her, and she is suffering very much.”
23 But Jesus did not answer her. So the followers came to him and said, “Tell her to go away. She keeps crying out and will not leave us alone.”
24 Jesus answered, “God sent me only to the lost people[d] of Israel.”
25 Then the woman came over to Jesus and bowed before him. She said, “Lord, help me!”
26 He answered her with this saying: “It is not right to take the children’s bread and give it to the dogs.”
27 The woman said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the pieces of food that fall from their master’s table.”
28 Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! You will get what you asked for.” And right then the woman’s daughter was healed. - Matthew 15 vs 21 - 28
Note: The non-Israelites were referred to as dogs in the above context.

2. Jesus Christ sent His disciples out to only the homes of Israelites
5 Jesus sent the twelve men out with these instructions: “Don’t go to the non-Jewish people. And don’t go into any town where the Samaritans live.
6 But go to the people of Israel. They are like sheep that are lost.
7 When you go, tell them this: ‘God’s kingdom is now very near.’
8 Heal the sick. Bring the dead back to life. Heal the people who have leprosy. And force demons out of people. I give you these powers freely, so help others freely.
9 Don’t carry any money with you—gold or silver or copper.
10 Don’t carry a bag. Take only the clothes and sandals you are wearing. And don’t take a walking stick. A worker should be given what he needs. - Matthew 10 vs 5 - 10

3. Jesus Christ warned His followers not to give that which is Holy — the agreement that is the Kingdom of God — to those who are non-Israelites.
6 Don’t give something that is holy to dogs. They will only turn and hurt you. And don’t throw your pearls to pigs. They will only step on them. - Matthew 7 vs 6

4. God, through His prophets, promised the agreement of Peace that is Jesus Christ, only to those who are of the House of Jacob
Jeremiah 31 & 32 & 50
31 This is what the Lord said, “The time is coming when I will make a new agreement with the family of Israel and with the family of Judah.
32 It will not be like the agreement I made with their ancestors. I made that agreement when I took them by the hand and brought them out of Egypt. I was their master, but they broke that agreement.” This message is from the Lord.
33 “In the future I will make this agreement with the people of Israel.” This message is from the Lord. “I will put my teachings in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
34 People will not have to teach their neighbors and relatives to know the Lord, because all people, from the least important to the most important, will know me.” This message is from the Lord. “I will forgive them for the evil things they did. I will not remember their sins.” - Jeremiah 31 vs 31 - 34
○ Ezekiel 34 & 36 & 37
21 “The people of Israel ruined my holy name wherever they went, and I felt sorry for my name.
22 So tell the family of Israel that this is what the Lord God says: ‘Family of Israel, you ruined my holy name in the places where you went. I am going to do something to stop this. I will not do it for your sake, Israel. I will do it for my holy name.
23 I will show the nations how holy my great name really is. You ruined my good name in those nations! But I will show you that I am holy. I will make you respect my name, and then those nations will know that I am the Lord.’” This is what the Lord God said.
24 “I will take you out of those nations, gather you together, and bring you back to your own land.
25 Then I will sprinkle pure water on you and make you pure. I will wash away all your filth, the filth from those nasty idols, and I will make you pure.
26 I will also put a new spirit in you to change your way of thinking. I will take out the heart of stone from your body and give you a tender, human heart.
27 I will put my Spirit inside you and change you so that you will obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands.
28 Then you will live in the land that I gave to your ancestors. You will be my people, and I will be your God. - Ezekiel 36 vs 21 - 28
○ Isaiah 55 & 59
20 Then a redeemer will come to Zion to save the people of Jacob who have turned away from sin.
21 The Lord says, “As for me, this is the agreement that I will make with these people. I promise my Spirit that I put on you and my words that I put in your mouth will never leave you. They will be with you and your children and your children’s children, for now, and forever. - Isaiah 59 vs 20 -21

As you can see, God promised Jesus Christ, His agreement that lasts forever, to the House of Jacob only, just as Jesus Christ made clear, meaning that all those who truly belong to Jesus Christ are in fact descendants of Abraham. Now, of course, the religion of Christianity which seems oblivious to this fact is removed from that declared by God Himself in this matter. But if you wanted to pay attention to what is in fact stated in scripture, you will find that only those who have the blood of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob coursing through their physical veins can indeed partake of the promise that is Jesus Christ. undecided

4. the 4th and final is what we all know as the dispensation of GRACE. made possible by the death of Jesus christ so that anyman who believes in him will regain all that he lost at Gen3;6. read john3:16, here man returns to his original position of life and rulership, 1john5;10-13, Rome5:12-21.
Here just like Adam, man has been recreated, eph2:10 to function at the original level God designed him. he doesnt need to pay tithe, sacrifice animals, or perform any obligated task or ritual to get blessed. continues shOrtty.......
1. Grace existed since the beginning or what you call your first dispersion, as grace refers to eternal life. Adam lost access to eternal life for all of mankind, but that doesn't all men could not access it through obedience even after that as we see in the case of Adam's own son who was declared righteous by His obedience to God. Then we have men like Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the Old Covenant righteous who were equally granted Life aka Grace for their obedience to God. undecided

Why not just write your bibles and scrap off Galatians 3.......
Knowledge truly puffeth
But what Paul wrote in Galatians 3, he wrote to his fellow Israeliites, the ones who Jesus Christ Himself said His Gospel is meant only for - Matthew 15 vs 22 - 24 & Matthew 10 vs 5 - 6 and Matthew 7 vs 6. undecided

■ Good morning Christem, As a member of the mystical body of Christ, I have to say that the way some of you pass of your private interpretations of sacred scriptures as truths is becoming very alarming. If you as an individual want to go without having a Christian wedding, not pay tithe, decides that Abraham is not your father in faith, then I won't have an ish with it but to attempt to present these as something that should be applicable to every Christian is not appropriate. I am a Christian, I am a Catholic Christian and I believe firmly that anyone who WANTS to, can pay tithe without feeling any obligation, I believe firmly that supporting the church with our time, talents and treasures is very important, I believe firmly that going to bless a union in Church is a very good practice and I believe firmly that Abraham is my father in faith.
■ #Its high time we taught love of God an neighbour and not some personal interpretation of sacred scriptures. Thank you!
1. You are wrong! Abraham isn't the father of your Christian religion since Abraham instead worshipped God through direct submission and obedience to God's teachings and commandments- Genesis 26 vs 5. Those who worship God are those who directly obey His Law, not those who bow instead to the religions of men. undecided

2. God has absolutely nothing to do with your religion of Christianity so focus on pleasing your popes and mogs instead. undecided
Re: 'Christians', Abraham Is Not Your Father! by Kobojunkie: 4:10am On Apr 23, 2023
Willzkid, are you certain you have been born again?

Man was born flesh and blood from his mother's womb. Jesus Christ told you this in His Gospel, affirming what God said in the beginning when He pointed out that man was made from the clay of this earth, not spirit - Genesis 2 vs 6 - 7. So in order to become a citizen of the Kingdom of God, a Kingdom where only those who are born of spirit can gain access, a first step in becoming a Son of God and eventually a partaker in the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God, one must first be born-again. And as broken down carefully in His Gospel by Jesus Christ, one must first be born-again before one can then become a citizen of the Kingdom of God.
1 There was a man named Nicodemus, one of the Pharisees. He was an important Jewish leader.
2 One night he came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a teacher sent from God. No one can do these miraculous signs that you do unless they have God’s help.”
3 Jesus answered, “I assure you, everyone must be born again. Anyone who is not born again cannot be in God’s kingdom.”
4 Nicodemus said, “How can a man who is already old be born again? Can he go back into his mother’s womb and be born a second time?”
5 Jesus answered, “Believe me when I say that everyone must be born from water and the Spirit. Anyone who is not born from water and the Spirit cannot enter God’s kingdom.
6 The only life people get from their human parents is physical. But the new life that the Spirit gives a person is spiritual.
7 Don’t be surprised that I told you, ‘You must be born again.’
8 The wind blows wherever it wants to. You hear it, but you don’t know where it is coming from or where it is going. It is the same with everyone who is born from the Spirit.” - John 3 vs 5 - 8
Born of Water — Is an acknowledgment of the message spread by John the Baptist whose call for repentance as found in Matthew 3 vs 2 Jesus Christ was reiterated beginning at the start of His own Kingdom mission, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand" found in Matthew 4 vs 7 & Mark 1 vs 15.

As John explained in his conversation with the Pharisees, to be born of water — baptized — there is a need for repentance, a visible transition from following God's Old Law of Moses to following God's New agreement of peace —Jesus Christ. In verse 8 of the passage below, John instructs the Pharisees to change their hearts and show by the way that they live that they have in fact changed from following the Old Way to following the New way — Jesus Christ. undecided
7 Many Pharisees and Sadducees came to where John was baptizing people. When John saw them, he said, “You are all snakes! Who warned you to run from God’s judgment that is coming?
8 Change your hearts! And show by the way you live that you have changed.
9 I know what you are thinking. You want to say, ‘but Abraham is our father!’ That means nothing. I tell you, God could make children for Abraham from these rocks.
10 The ax is now ready to cut down the trees. Every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
[b]11
“I baptize you with water to show that you have changed your hearts and lives. But there is someone coming later who is able to do more than I can. I am not good enough to be the slave who takes off his sandals. - Matthew 3 vs 7 - 11
Suffice to say, the kind of repentance God desires is not simply an abandoning of one's sinful ways but more importantly, an abandoning of the hold the Old Law had on one to embrace instead a full commitment to following and abiding by the direct teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ alone. Once one is baptized in water after this, one is said to have concluded the work of obedience necessary for one to be Born of water. undecided
Born of Spirit(Eternal Life) - In John 3 vs 16, Jesus Christ elucidated that all those who believe in Him will receive Eternal Life in place of the condemnation of Death which they formerly lived under as a result of God's judgment against sinners of Old - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. The Spirit of Eternal life, the spirit those who are in fact born again are born of, as described by Jesus Christ in the context of John 3 vs 1 - 21 is not a passive spirit. Rather, He is an uncontrollable invasion of those of the individual who is born of Him — a possession so to speak. This can be vividly seen in what Jesus Christ said of those who are born of the Spirit of Life in John 3 vs 5 - 8 undecided
7 A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”
8 (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered, “You don’t know what God can give you. And you don’t know who I am, the one who asked you for a drink. If you knew, you would have asked me, and I would have given you living water.”
11 The woman said, “Sir, where will you get that living water? The well is very deep, and you have nothing to get water with.
12 Are you greater than our ancestor Jacob? He is the one who gave us this well. He drank from it himself, and his sons and all his animals drank from it too.”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again.
14 But anyone who drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again. The water I give people will be like a spring flowing inside them. It will bring them eternal life.”
15 The woman said to Jesus, “Sir, give me this water. Then I will never be thirsty again and won’t have to come back here to get more water.” - John 4 vs 7 - 15
In the above passage, Jesus Christ equally describes the Spirit of Eternal life as living water on the inside of those who drink from Him again implying that one does not get a passive spirit but a conscious spirit wielding power inside of them when born of Spirit.

The born-again process is clearly not of the mind but of acts of obedience and also of invasion by the controlling power of the Spirit of Eternal Life who then guides one into the Kingdom of God where eventually — if one continues in submission and obedience — one is able to become a son of God, moving on to attain righteous by seeking first the Kingdom of God(holiness) and God's righteousness as commanded by Jesus Christ. However, none of this will be possible if one is not first born-again. So, ask yourself today, are you born-again? Can you confirm today that the Spirit of Eternal life has invaded your person and is actively working in you pushing you in whichever direction He chooses? or are you pretending to be born again in order to fit into the religious circles of men? undecided

■ Father of faith , not Father in practice. We have one Father and that is GOD.

Abraham is the father of faith. Nothing stops anyone from attaching themselves to any father they like!
A lot stops you and that happens to be blood! You cannot attach yourself to just about any man out there without that man's consent if you are not of his blood. Abraham never gave anyone consent to attach themselves to his person according to their own will. undecided

Yes, Abraham is the father of faith BUT WGAT DOES IT MEAN ? You have to understand what it means before you can APPLY it.
Abraham is the father of faith simply means Abraham is the one to whom God made His Covenant. You don't need to write a thesis on this nor is there meaning to the suggestion that some sort of application is possible. undecided

Galatians 2:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:7-8
7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
■ Abraham is the father of nations as promised by God, please do not try to put the words of God to none effect by your opinion. Except, Ofcourse, you claim not to be a Christian but a 'Christian'.
1. That first verse does not mention Abraham as the father of the Non-Israelites, neither does the second verse say any of the same since Abraham is, as described in John 8 vs 31 - 44 by Jesus Christ Himself, the father to all Israelites who happen to have faith. . undecided

2. Abraham is the father of Nations, however, all of those referred to are of the blood of Jacob - Israel. undecided

So by your analogy Enoch died abi? What about Elijah? If you mean spiritual death Abel was righteous before he was killed by his brother.By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. heb 11:4. also Men live up to a thousand years before they died as is the case with Methuselah. Can you explain that?
By faith, Abel still speaks? How? undecided
