it might sound nonsensical to you,but that is what i have heard some landlords say about letting their properties out to igbo men,i think its not right but thats what i have heard from like 4/5 diffrent landlords the last one is in court now with an ibo man and his family,as for ibo landlords not discriminating against yoruba could it have been to do with lagos being mostly populated by yorubas?besides most ibos dont build houses in lagos or anywhere outside their immediate hometown/state

opc too were cleansing the streets and what not of perceived injustices,the same thing that brought opc down brought bakassi boys down,also ibos migrate to lagos more than yorubas migrate to the east simply because lagos is the commercial hub of nigeria and it happens to be in the south west.

Don't fall into his trap because you are conceding for nothing. A Nigerian landlord has a right to refuse tenancy to anybody based on hygeine, colour, financial state, gender, tribe, religion etc. It's completely legal in Nigeria and nothing to be ashamed or apologize for. I repeat mine once again that I will not rent to Hausas for safety issues. It's not illegal and I'm exercising my civic rights under the law. Nigeria is not America, abeg .
