This is not my work. But am posting it here cos i damm love the Hair groom.

The artist said he used Ornatrix for 3DSMax.

Unfortunately , the said ornatrix is not free and crack is as rare as hair in the intestines.....SEE WHY I LOVE BLENDER grin, Free everythang

Well, animating is what i am trying to break into. I dont understand it properly really. I had watched thousands and millions of videos from every tutor out there and yet overlaps and follow-through snarl and snitched at me like hellhounds.

Tos87, can u direct me on How to make somethang moist with Cycles....with ma cat, i want to make itz tongue Moist, u know somewhat wet, slippery...a saliva coated tongue.

Managed to work on the eyes this afternoon, i couldnt find a high res texture for the eye, i simply texture painted with tiger photograph.
and its looking glassy instead of being moist. The tongue, as well.... just glossy, instead of moist .

Is there a Cycles handbook anywhere? free one that is.

is looking really nice. To achieve that I think you can use glossy shader, reduce the roughness. mix with diffuse. tweak until you achieve your desired result. the glossy should be greater. use Fresnel as fac. you can experiment further and advanced with noise texture tweak with a colour ramp. like creating some saliva dripping and adding some material to it too.

My attempt at cartoony animation this year.

(the xter herein is re-rigged with rigify addon and the gym equipment is from Donnemmx, I guess. Purpose is to horn ma 'animation for cartoon' skills)

Dont mind the noisiness, was not rendered at full sample. one of the obvious disadvantages of Cycles on a budget laptop.

I think i can just say I am best at Rigging and Xter Modelling cool

Cartoon animation is certainly a bore.

U saved ma Cycle's marriage

Now i can also apply that moistness to the insides of ma old snake too. i took it (snake) out again and with some alpha masks i made in photoshop (utube thank u), i made some resemblance of scales.
The dammed scales appear procedural though but what can i do grin....cant spent hours carving each scale manually like that gal who sculpted the Harry potter snake did. She said she worked on the Harry Porter snake for a month, each scale sculpted by hand, phew.

Imagine a four eyed snake.....The film NOAH ( U guys in CGI should download this film at all cost, one of the best Really) depicted the snake that tempted Eve like a prehistoric four eyed reptile with a slightly enlarged head.

I heard that they used Houdini for the bird flock and the deformation of the vairous snakes' bodies over each other, Phew. When will Kazuna get to that level. If i ver learn how to rigg a snake as realistically as one with deforming muscles, I will consider it my Zenith.

I think the biggest mistake they made with NOAH x tryin to go so close wth the bible narative.

But anyway it was enjoyable especially that Tubal Cain xter.

Certainly, a phcn guy from NL and in Amawbia must have heard ma plea...they brought the phuckin lite.

I opened her, ma laptop, she purred with pleasure. ha, such hapiness.

So as i am wont to do after long periods off, i went back to ma old works...the ones usually rough along d edges. When I was madly interested in General Evil and monsters.

i miss that period, it was all before d fascination wt hair. such halcyon days.

First here is a beloveth named Shrimpie. She (Yes, shrimpie x female) later featured in ma small flick, where she was troublin an elephany, tryin to possess it. She is low caste demon anyway.

Let me pay homage to guys that whenever i look at their work (in xter design) i am inspired.
My three Muses...

Shimish - A nairalander and one of the very first users and publicist of Blender on Nl as way back as 1916. ya that long. Still muse on ur Centaur.

his work on this family was my desktop wallpaper for a year (the other wallpaer that lasted that long was ladanski green xter)

2. Alex Gorbachev. Hez something else, i kept tryin to replicate his Grim reaper to no avail.

3. And this guy..weirdtongue. he should change that spectacle. And he has a big oblong head.

Dozed off wt The Shining. had a terrible sweaty dream. Chased by stuff like this.

Stephen king x the alpha of novels, seriously.
I deferred takin on that The Shining cos it was too phucking popular back then. i hate things popular. thats why i hated Maya and Photoshoptongue

But i swear that book....The Shining....ama become an author one day.

I wonder if someone can point me to tutorial that uses morphs or morph targets (ala 3dsmas) for facial rigging in Blender. been searchn and Google is becomin cumbersome these days.

Sunday mornin Fleshy Eye rig....
I woke up late, so no church...besides it Rainedcheesy

The Snapper face rig demo video inspired this kinda eye rigging. the sort where the movement of the eyeballs displaces the volume of the surrouding flesh unlike what i used to have before.

i wish i could lay ma hands on that Snappers rig script...i wont mind learning maya for it. ya its a maya script but their demo is somethang to watch. search for it on Utube.

This work is part of the rigging process for Bad Orange production.

The production comprises of three bad Niggurs from NLcheesy

By d way what do u meant by displacn volume around d eyez.

I watched d snappers demo, i didnt understand the didplacement thing you mentioned but that demo is SUPERB. the wrinkling of the skin too while he frowned or smiled. one particularly funny one was when he acted like someone havin a hard stoolin.

will this guy get wrinkles tootongue

Back from oblivion...

I shut out blender for three straight weeks.

I opened my, its arch rival....Maya.

Went straight into rigging, unfortuatunately I used tuts for older versions (2015) against a 2016 Maya...things are quite different between the two.

the outcome of the rigging was tedious but broadenin. I specifically went in because i was looking for a way to do fat rigging. Cant believe i spent nearly a month rigging one xter. Maya should work on their interface, Autodesk should make working in the UI intuitive and not like a NASA app. Rigging there felt like i killed the artist in me and resurrected the programmer. Lots and dozens of Mel scripting just to wire a few bones
Even Softimage (which Autodesk has killed) is far more artist friendly.

i had finished wt the Maya riggin....time for animation. i ve the draft, there would be no lip sync. Let me test and see what the hype x about with Maya in animation.

i was supposed to start this saturday but The Muses diverted me to Mon petite Belle...hopefully i will finish her before today runs out, and continue with the 'dreary' Maya.

the work might go awry and not resemble as usual but i'd still say..
