So what is the noise about? That he continued with the project after 4years or that the project serves only his purpose? I don't think any of the above matters. So long as it will benefit the generality of the imolite, it is commendable. At least the fund for the project is still intact and not embezzled as it trend this days and the project is being executed befor our eyes. No need to hate unnecessarily

I have seen this so called fly over. Please save your life and don't plan on using it. Okorocha and the front company he set up to do this work are using welders and carpenters who are asked to source their irons rods and timber. They are given portions to work on and are never paid afterwords. The bridge is already cracking and the base and side walls are so thin that the weight of "keke" can fatigue this poor and shoddy work.

You are ill informed my young friend.. That road was federal project given to Arab contractors and funded by Niger Delta ministry but when Okorocha showed signs of not supporting Jonathan's 2015 ambition FG abandoned it to rot by refusing to pay the contractors.

Nigerians disregard black men a lot. They value German companies more than indigenous ones but still expect us to grow as a nation. It is only true long term trial that we can perfect indigenous road construction technology.

However our indigenous contractors like to cut corners a lot thereby delivering roads below acceptable standards. All of those roads Okorocha is being condemned for were handled by indigenous contractors.

IMO state has two universities, of which one (FUTO) is a university of technology with a lot of professors in engineering and been active members of COREN. D best their skills can get them is 8 - 10 storey hotels. coupled with a governor who specializes in "China roads" that washes away within d same week it is been tarred. i only fear for d future of the so called bridge because d most delicate part is being concluded by d specialist in China products. I pray for those In d future that would ply this. bridge. when it would happen, no one should be under and above it.
