According to a Nigerian lady on Twitter, feminism is a rebellion against God's established order, she says both genders are equally precious in the eyes of God and we don't need feminism to help us realise that.

Read her tweets below;
"Most feminists aren’t too fond of God’s design for gender. They don’t like the idea of the man being dubbed as the primary leader, initiator, and provider. They don’t like the idea of Eve being created as a helper to Adam.

Feminism has rejected God as the ultimate authority for life and instead placed herself on the throne. The god of feminism pridefully says, “I know better than God and will live out my womanhood how I think is best.”

At its root, feminism is built upon a foundation completely devoid of God. The feminist movement is woven with the same sin Satan committed in the beginning. A rebellious heart that pridefully says, “I don’t need you, God. Thanks, but I’ll do things my way.”

When we reject God’s created order and purposes for our lives as women, we will not find lasting happiness. We don’t need feminism to inform us of our worth and value.

God already says we’re equally valuable. We don’t need to become feminists to promote this area of biblical teaching. What we do need is to lovingly show all women how valuable and precious they are to God.

We need to re-embrace God’s design for marriage, family, dignity of life, and sexuality. We need to repent of our pride and accept God’s Word as the authority in our lives.

Feminism has never offered a solution that the Bible hasn’t already taken care of.

God’s Word has all the answers we need. In Christ, we (men and women) will find all the fulfillment, worth, value and purpose this life has to offer!heart♥️"

Everyone needs an avenue to vent her bottled up frustration. Frustrated ladies found succour in feminism which most of them in Nigeria cannot spell nor can define.

Feminism is right. They have brought up lots of advantages to family narrative. But of course like everything else, it has being misused by some women and men alike.

On wether it questions religious laws... It doesn't matter.
As Thomas Jefferson rightly said ;
"Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there is one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear."

Erm, you're a little bit on the wrong side dearie. The feminism which calls for elimination of gender based discrimination and violence against women is not only morally upright, it is Biblical.

If you don't believe that, then read Proverbs 31 and tell me if the kind of woman described there is not the first prototype of what a feminist ought to be.

But that feminism which demonizes men and which has imbibed a culture of entitlement, that feminism which wants equality of privilege, but does not want equality of responsibility, is to be discouraged by women themselves as in the long run, it will do more harm than good to the feminist cause.

Take it or leave it; a woman is never equal to a man. There is no meeting point. He is a man and she is a woman, simple and short.

Feminism is unadulterated and undiluted foolishness

Any ideology that seeks to elevate one gender and berate the other has its roots in foolishness.

Re: "Feminism Is A Rebellion Against God's Established Order" - Nigerian Lady Says by Amberon11: 10:34am On Aug 28, 2018
Any woman against feminism belongs in the pre-medieval ages. Feminism gives you a voice in the society. feminism gave way for the liberation of women in the Western world; giving them the right to vote and be voted for, the right to exercise her fundamental human rights like every other person. The right to go to school and pursue dreams. The right to freedom of speech and association.

It is highly unfortunate that most Nigerian men feel threatened by the struggle. They act as though feminism were the cause of the ozone layer depletion and economic recession.

If not for the relentless activism by the feminists in Saudi Arabia, they wouldn't have been granted freedom to drive cars. Why subdue and supress others when you don't want to be subdued? When you're free?

Feminism speaks of the global ills going on against women such as child marriages and genital mutilation. Hmmm. Sense is truly far from some people.

Feminism has some valuable arguments, but despite my lack of bias, I find many of their positions extreme. Not believing in God is another thing, I can't see how intelligent you are as a person if you cannot perceive that there's God. Ciao

The question is 'what has feminism added to the follower's lives except criticism, hatred from the majority and few things I'd like not to pen down.

Let them be. The children of destruction will always be destroyed no matter the 'preaching' you give them.

How does demanding that females stop being genitally mutilated, forced into child marriages, receiving less pay than their make counterparts despite doing same job equate to insecurity?

Feminism has nothing to do with disbelief in God. That a particular feminist happens to be atheist doesn't mean it's part of the feminism struggle.
